Classic Cocktail Recipes
Paloma
Like margaritas, palomas are traditional tequila-based cocktails that originated in Mexico in the 1950s, when grapefruit soda was first brought to the country. Its history is unknown, but it continues to be one of the most well-liked cocktails to this day. Perfect for your next brunch theme events, these classic summer cocktails are made with a few simple ingredients and the finest tequila.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Código 1530 Rosa Tequila
- 90 ml grapefruit soda
- 15 ml Fresh lime juice
- Grapefruit slice for garnish
- Salt rim (optional)
Steps:
- Rim your glass with salt (optional).
- Add all the ingredients to an ice-filled highball glass and stir.
- Instead of grapefruit soda, you could also add grapefruit juice and top up with soda.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
Campari Spritz
While Aperol Spritz is well-known, have you ever tried Campari Spritz? This cocktail illustrates that simplicity is key. If you love a refreshing cocktail but with aromatic flavour, Campari Spritz will definitely be your new favourite cocktail!
Ingredients:
- 30ml Campari
- 90ml of Mionetto Prosecco
- Soda to top up
- Orange slice for garnish
Steps:
- Add all the ingredients to an ice-filled wine glass.
- Garnish with a slice of fresh orange.
French 75
The traditional cocktail, which originated during World War I, has evolved into a sophisticated and elegant drink today. One of the few cocktails created at a New York bar in Paris, later known as Harry’s New York Bar. Although the legendary recipe calls for Champagne, we recommend switching to a French sparkling wine in this recipe.
Fun Fact: The cocktail was named after a French 75mm field gun.
Ingredients:
- 30ml Sorgin Gin
- 75ml Sparr Cremant D'Alsace Reserve (or any other Sparkling)
- 15ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar syrup
- Lemon twist or rosemary for garnish
Steps:
- Add the Sorgin Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Shake well then strain into a Champagne Flute or your favourite stemmed glass.
- Top up with Sparr Cremant D'Alsace Reserve
- Garnish with a twist of lemon and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
Negroni Sbagliato
Invented in 1972 in Milan's Bar Basso by bartender Mirko Stocchetto. Born from a mistake, Stocchetto mixed prosecco instead of gin when making the Negroni, leading to the creation of one of the most iconic drinks ever—a refreshing twist on a classic cocktail with bitter overtones.
Ingredients:
- 30ml Campari
- 30ml Red Vermouth (Yzaguirre Vermouth Rojo)
- 30ml La Marca Prosecco
- Orange slice for garnish
Steps:
- Add all the ingredients to an ice-filled highball glass.
- Garnish with a slice of orange.
Last Word
A classic cocktail was created shortly before the Prohibition Era in Detroit Athletic Club. During this era only private clubs where allowed to serve cocktails and hence, the Last Word gained popularity in the early 2000’s. A stunningly blended collaboration between Chartreuse, Gin, and Cherry Liqueur.
Ingredients:
- 20 ml Yellow Chartreuse
- 20 ml Aviation Gin (or any Gin of your choice)
- 20 ml Cherry liqueur (Bak's Polmos Wisniowka Cherry Cordial)
- 20 ml Lime juice
Steps:
- Add all the ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Shake and strain into a chilled long stemmed cocktail glass.

Stoli Toronto Mule
Stoli’s Take on the classic Moscow Mule is by incorporating Canadian Blueberries and maple syrup, showcasing rich yet refreshing flavours, pretty similar to the vibe in Toronto.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Stoli Premium Vodka
- 15ml maple syrup
- 15ml parts lemon juice
- 50ml ginger beer
- Blueberries and mint for garnish
Steps:
- Add Stoli, Maple syrup, lemon juice into an ice-filled shaker.
- Shake and strain into an ice filled highball or copper mug and top up with ginger beer.
- Garnish with blueberries and a sprig of mint
