Shipping & Returns Policy


Shipping charges are calculated based on your location and the dimensions of your shipment. The total shipping cost, with all bottle deposits, GST, and any applicable provincial taxes, will be shown for your review at the checkout stage before finalizing your order. If there are any issues with shipping to your address, we will contact you to arrange a resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note: We do not ship to PO box addresses. 


If your order is time-sensitive or requires specific delivery arrangements, please reach out to us beforehand to discuss feasibility. We offer delivery appointment scheduling for an additional fee through ATS Healthcare.  

Orders are typically processed within 3 to 10 business days. Please note that this time may occasionally extend beyond this timeframe without prior notification though we will do our best to keep you informed. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to monitor its progress.

Canadian Liquor Store primarily utilizes ATS Healthcare and Canada Post for shipping. ATS Healthcare allows us to provide temperature-controlled shipping for delicate wines.

Delivery dates may vary due to carrier procedures, destination, shipping method, and the nature of the items ordered. The tracking you received allows you to follow the progress of the order.

A signature and valid ID from an adult of legal age are mandatory upon delivery. If no adult is available to receive the shipment, it will be returned to the nearest postal outlet or ATS terminal for signature collection. Shipments will not be left unattended at doorsteps. If no one is likely to be home, it may be better to ship to a different address. A business address is best, but alternatively a neighbour or relative who is always home would work.


We take every precaution to ensure that your order is securely packaged. However, we are unable to assume responsibility for any losses or damages incurred during transit by third-party couriers.

Base rate shipping insurance is provided by the carrier and is further insurance for higher value items is optional and available for customers to purchase at a rate of 2.5% of your total amount of products purchased. Our liability is limited to the carrier's own policies. 


There are no delivery charges for picking up orders at a Canadian Liquor Store location.

Return Policy

Our goal is to ensure that all of our customers are satisfied with their orders. 

Should you need to return an item for any reason, please contact or call 780-760-0831.

The following criteria apply in most cases:

Please be aware that extra re-shipping fee may apply if the customer has entered the wrong address or postal code and We do not accept shipping to PO boxes.

If the item(s) is in saleable condition, it will be refunded. If the item has been shipped outside Edmonton, the shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Faulty items will be evaluated on an individual basis before a decision is made. 

Wines older than 7 years and over $100 will not be accepted for return unless the producer agrees to replace the wine. 

Any request for exchange/refund must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase.

A re-stocking fee may apply.
