20% whole cluster and 80% whole berry fruit is hand-loaded into 225-500 liter new French oak barrels for a 100% barrel fermentation for a period of 28 days, allowing seamless oak integration. The fermentation temperature is kept low, extracting intense aromas, and the cap management is done by hand to ensure soft, gentle flavors and tannin extraction. Wild yeasts. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel leaves considerable lees and sediment. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.

"The 2014 Prieuré-Lichine is just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel. Silky, perfumed and gracious on the palate, the wine exudes class. Sweet floral and spice notes meld into a core of red stone fruit, and silky tannins and vivid flavors lead into a creamy and inviting finish. The modern day Maison of Veuve Clicquot possesses one of the finest champagne vineyards, both in terms of its size and the quality of its vines. Its 390 hectares are divided between 12 of the 17 Grands Crus, and between 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus that constitute the entire Champagne region. This exceptional heritage was built up over the centuries, founded upon the parcels first established by the founder, and added to by subsequent vineyard directors. In particular, Veuve Clicquot bears the fortuitous territorial mark of Madame Clicquot.

Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange', in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. First made in 1960 by the legendary Max Schubert, this was the wine that helped forge Penfolds reputation with red wine drinkers by combining the structure of cabernet sauvignon with the richness of shiraz. Exemplifying the judicious balance of fruit and oak, Bin 389 highlights the generous mid-palate Penfolds in known for.

The Chateau Malescot St. Exupery is a 3rd growth of Margaux that sits right next to Chateau Margaux- one of the 5-first growths of Bordeaux. This exceptional terroir goes all the way back to 1697 when it was owned by the Escousses family. In the 1800's the property was handed to Jean-Baptiste Saint-Exupery enriching the name of the Chateau with HIS name. By June, 1955 the estate had only 7 ha of vines and the Zuger family began to restore the grounds and the castle. 30ha of the property are dedicated to the vines where the varieties of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot are grown. This is one of the most well-priced wines of Bordeaux and always well regarded, garnering high scores from critics. The 2016 vintage is comprised of 55% cabernet, 37% merlot and the 8% balance is cabernet franc and petit verdot. The wine scored high with typical notes of black currant, cedar, earth, tobacco and mocha around a backbone of fine tannins, and fresh acidity with a lengthy finish and great depth of character. Winemaker Notes : The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper, and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet. The seamlessly layered flavors build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy black-fruit, accented with hints of orange zest, licorice, and dark chocolate. Beautifully balanced, the smooth round tannins and fresh acidity combine to create a soft, creamy mouthfeel and extend the flavors into a long persistent finish.

Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine blend made from a selection of five Bordeaux grape varieties. The wine is primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), with smaller amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. This wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry, cassis, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with flavors of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, and espresso. Brunello is the prince of Montalcino wines, produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes picked by hand from the oldest vines in the farm.

After a careful fermentation at controlled temperature, Tenuta Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino is aged in French oak barrels.

The wine has a luminous color with attractive pink glints. The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry), leading to biscuity notes of dried fruits and Viennese pastries (almonds, apricots and brioche).

Made using 50 to 60 different crus, the cuvee is based on Brut Yellow Label's traditional blend: 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier, and 28 to 33% Chardonnay.

Inspired after a visit to Bordeaux, Dan Duckhorn produced the first vintage of Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot in 1978. Highlighting Estate vineyards and top sites, our renown Merlot reflects the diversity of the valley's many appellations. Blending with Cabernet Sauvignon adds notable depth and structure, as well as signature flavors of black cherry, plum and spice.

Winemaker notes: Grapes for this Malbec are grown in the Andes Mountains of Argentina, then chilled and transported by ocean voyage to Caymus, where we use our winemaking techniques to create a style that is dense, dark and supple. Falling outside standard labeling rules, Red Schooner does not include a vintage date but is known by the voyage from which it traveled (i.e. Voyage 10 is the 2020 vintage). Strikingly smooth, with scents and flavors of dark fruit and fine, textural tannins.

This wine shows a deep garnet red color.

It is full of intense aromas with notes of blackberry and almond chocolate. Slowly moving from a fruity start to more spicy and dark chocolate notes. From Lugana, the I Frati winery located in Lugana, is a unique area and terroir between Veneto and Lombardy. Conducted by four generations of winemakers, they follow the lunar cycle, otherwise known as biodynamics: every day of the year playing a fundamental role in following the cycle of the vine. This Rosato is a blend of Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera, all indigenous grape varieties; the first two specific to the region and the last two are grown all over Italy. This 12.5% alcohol rosato is so quaffable and absolutely perfect for sipping on hot summer days. Intoxicating aromas of peach, apricot, tangerine, and wild cherry with nuances of earth and Italian herbs, the palate is zesty and waiting for you to take another sip! Pair this delightful pink wine with fried vegetables, mushrooms, tomato and mozzarella salad, delicate pasta, and spring risotto.

Rara Neagra is a Romanian-Moldovan red grape variety that is cultivated in both regions. A great alternative to Merlot, this wine is smooth with a complex aroma of pomegranate, plum and chocolate. The full, velvety taste, with hints of dried fruit and vanilla smoothly pass into an oaky finish.

Made as a traditional 'Australian blend', the Shiraz component provides fleshy fruit flavour while Cabernet provides a frame of fine grained tannins.

If you're looking for an alternative to the expensive Grange, try Bin 407. Still muscular with full flavours of blackcurrant, cedar, dark chocolate, and pepper, it's that big Australian style one might be looking for.

Another well known Chateau from Margaux, this popular third growth of the 1855 Classification offers great value/quality from Margaux. With a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot and 20% Merlot, this is a ‘pretty' wine with floral and black tea notes interwoven with the plum, red cherry, cassis, cedar, and graphite. Chateau Lafite Rothschild (Pauillac) – there’s no denying that no matter what vintage, the name of Rothschild will carry the weight and cachet for selling itself, not to mention scoring very high. Cassis, raspberry coulis, and blackberry dominate on a palate of crisp tannins, enormous structure and concentration. Always give this time to age to allow the wine to come into itself. With over 170 years of history the Ippolito winery is the oldest in the region of Calabria and only grows native cultivars on old vines. Greco Bianco is likely the highest quality white grape variety, growing here for 1000 years – a true autochthonous variety. Not to be confused with Greco (from Campania), this fresh and zesty white wine shows the terroir with aromas and flavours of tropical fruits, citrus notes and the unmistakable saline finish that comes from grapes being grown by the sea. From Sacha Lichine's Chateau D'Esclans, the ever-popular, cult rose is back with current vintage, made with a blend of grenache, cinsault, and rolle. It's a highly anticipated rose wine every season with its pale pink colour and pure Provençal flavours of strawberry and orange cream, with subtle floral notes. The palate is ripe and fleshy, yet always fresh. Always a favourite.
