Delivery

Processing & Delivery Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 4 to 11 business days.

  • This timeframe may be extended during peak periods or due to unexpected delays and we will do our best to keep you informed.

  • Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor delivery progress. It's always best to check each morning when it gets close to the delivery date.

Shipping Carriers

We primarily use ATS Healthcare and Canada Post to ship items on your behalf.

  • ATS Healthcare is our preferred carrier for temperature-sensitive items, such as fine wines.

  • If ATS does not service your area, your order will be shipped via Canada Post.

During periods of extreme heat or cold, we will contact you before shipping to ensure safe delivery conditions.

Signature & ID Requirements

A valid photo ID and signature from an adult of legal drinking age is required upon delivery.
Shipments will not be left unattended. If no one is available at your address, the package will be redirected to the nearest ATS terminal or Canada Post outlet.

To avoid missed deliveries, consider shipping to:

  • A business address

  • A neighbour or family member who is available during the day between 8:30am-6pm

Shipping Policy

Legal Notice

Alcohol products purchased from canadianliquorstore.ca are sold in the province of Alberta, and ownership is transferred to the buyer at the time of sale in Alberta. It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to comply with all regulations related to the shipment or importation of alcoholic beverages.

By placing an order, the purchaser confirms that any request to ship alcohol outside of Alberta is made at their own direction. The purchaser accepts full responsibility for all associated costs, including but not limited to taxes, duties, or other charges imposed by regulatory authorities. At the present time, there are no other charges beyond what you paid at the time of purchase, however this is unlikely, but can change and you will be notified if it does.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

We take great care to package orders securely; however, we are not liable for damage or loss caused by third-party couriers.

  • Basic carrier insurance is included with all shipments.

  • Additional insurance for high-value items is available.

  • Our liability is limited to the policies of the respective carrier.

  • Please contact us immediately if there are any issues.

Delivery Charges

  • No shipping fees apply for in-store pickup at a Canadian Liquor Store location.

  • Delivery cost will be calculated at checkout after entering your shipping address.

  • We do not ship to Dry Communities.

  • All deliveries to PO Boxes are made through Canada Post.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please contact us at care@canadianliquorstore.ca or call 780-760-0831.

Return Conditions:

  • Incorrect address: Reshipping fees may apply if incorrect information is provided at checkout.

  • Saleable items may be returned for a refund, but shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Faulty items will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Wines older than 7 years and valued over $100 cannot be returned unless the producer agrees to replacement.

  • Exchange or refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.

  • A restocking fee may apply in some cases.
