From Lugana, the I Frati winery located in Lugana, is a unique area and terroir between Veneto and Lombardy. Conducted by four generations of winemakers, they follow the lunar cycle, otherwise known as biodynamics: every day of the year playing a fundamental role in following the cycle of the vine. This Rosato is a blend of Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera, all indigenous grape varieties; the first two specific to the region and the last two are grown all over Italy. This 12.5% alcohol rosato is so quaffable and absolutely perfect for sipping on hot summer days. Intoxicating aromas of peach, apricot, tangerine, and wild cherry with nuances of earth and Italian herbs, the palate is zesty and waiting for you to take another sip! Pair this delightful pink wine with fried vegetables, mushrooms, tomato and mozzarella salad, delicate pasta, and spring risotto.

Pale cherry-pink. Pleasant nose combining redcurrant, cherry, a floral element and a touch of eucalyptus. Energetic attack opening up to lovely aromatic intensity. The structure is light and invigorating and the narrative is clear and without artifice in this lovely wine.

Chiaretto is the term used for rosati crafted by the shores of Lake Garda. The Gorgo winery practices oraganic winemaking and this fresh and vibrant wine made from the Valpolicella grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry and peach. The palate has high acidity balanced nicely with the small red berries, red apples and peaches.

Named for the Norman princess who lived around Cirò in the 11th century, the Mabilia is made from 100% Gaglioppo grapes. The juice is left on the skins for 24 hours, with only a delicate pink colour extracted, and the resulting wine being very fruity with notes of watermelon, red cherry, and roses. Fresh, lively, and fruity, this rosato is a great match for chicken, turkey and fish dishes.

Exclusive to CLS, we don't often see Nebbiolo done in rose form, but the brother and sister team at Antoniolo of Lorella (whom this wine is named after)and Alberto have created this gorgeous rosato that is intense and fragrant with juicy red raspberries and violets. Initial mouth feel is soft but the acidity is high with a subtle spicy kick. Slight tannins and medium alcohol all rolled into a perfectly balanced wine. From the prestigious area of Montefalco in Umbria, Perticaia is embracing all the native grapes of the area. This rosato is made from 80% Sagrantino, which is undoubtedly one of the most tannic grapes in all of Italy, balanced by 20% Sangiovese.  The wine is fine and elegant with floral hints of wild rose and fruity hints of peach and grapefruit. Well balanced with medium, mouth-watering acidity.

Bright light pink with sparkling core. Aromas of red grapefruit, gooseberry and a touch of nettle on the nose, mineral finish. Taut on the palate, with plenty of traction, juicy fruit and long finish.

Founded in 1911, Casaretti is considered one of the top producers in the Bardolino DOC. The 4th generation manages the estate of 13ha on the eastern shores of Lake Garda. Made with 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Molinara, it is a fresh and vibrant rose with hints of peach and roses. Drink young with white fish and risotto.

Ilauri Chiola Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC is a rosé wine produced in the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo subregion of Abruzzo, Italy. The wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, which are hand-picked and vinified using a short maceration process to obtain its beautiful pink color. The wine has a fruity and floral aroma with notes of cherry, raspberry, and rose petals. On the palate, it is fresh, lively, and well-balanced with a pleasant acidity and a long finish. This wine is a perfect pairing for seafood, grilled vegetables, and light pasta dishes.

Proprieta Sperino Rosé is a crisp and refreshing wine that showcases the unique terroir of the Piedmont region. Made from a blend of native grapes Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Croatina, the wine has a bright pink color and aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, and hints of rose petals. Nerello Mascalese from Mt. Etna not only makes unforgettable red wines, but rosati from this grape are astounding as well. This winery is establishing itself as a rising star and one of the best in the region. Rosato made from Nerello will show off juicy raspberry, cherry and orange peel along with racy acidity.

A beautiful pink aperitif wine from a winery that was started in Italy's Friuli region in 1970. With notes of raspberries, redcurrants and flowers, it is a perfect pairing for a charcuterie platter, scallops or prawns. Made from the Pinot Noir grape. Serve chilled.

Isola Augusta (Augusta Island) was acquired in 1959 by Renzo Bassani, who fell in love with this land, renovating old vineyards to start producing wines. The Bassani family was one of the first in the region to replace the chemical interventions in the wines with physical processes, controlling the fermentation of the musts with the cold technique. In 1972, son Massimo took over, constructing new buildings and establishing modern techniques.Today Isola Augusta is a combination of both modern and traditional.

Made with grapes grown following biodynamic principles and fermented with wild yeasts, this earthy rosato has aromas of sunbaked soil, eucalyptus and ripe berries.
