Inspired after a visit to Bordeaux, Dan Duckhorn produced the first vintage of Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot in 1978. Highlighting Estate vineyards and top sites, our renown Merlot reflects the diversity of the valley's many appellations. Blending with Cabernet Sauvignon adds notable depth and structure, as well as signature flavors of black cherry, plum and spice.

Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine blend made from a selection of five Bordeaux grape varieties. The wine is primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), with smaller amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. This wine has a deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry, cassis, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with flavors of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, and espresso. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing excellent balance to the fruit flavors. The wine has a long, lingering finish, with a touch of oak and spice. It is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, offering power, elegance, and complexity. 

Winemaker Notes : The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper, and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet. The seamlessly layered flavors build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy black-fruit, accented with hints of orange zest, licorice, and dark chocolate. Beautifully balanced, the smooth round tannins and fresh acidity combine to create a soft, creamy mouthfeel and extend the flavors into a long persistent finish.

Blend: 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec

Winemaker Notes: This Malbec is crafted from grapes grown in the Andes Mountains of Argentina. After harvest, the grapes are chilled and transported by sea to Caymus, where our unique winemaking techniques produce a wine that is dense, dark, and supple. Red Schooner wines are identified by the voyage number rather than a vintage date, with Voyage 11 corresponding to the 2021 vintage. The result is a remarkably smooth wine, offering aromas and flavors of dark fruit complemented by fine, textural tannins.

The aroma of this drink is unmistakably that of peanut butter or a blend of peanut and hazelnut butter. It has a sweet and buttery scent that leaves no doubt about its flavor profile. On the palate, it is a cross between peanut and hazelnut butter, offering a surprising saltiness and intense sweetness.

Sourced primarily from cooler appellations within Napa Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and vibrant with layers of bright red berry fruits, alongside a floral potpourri. Baking spice notes of caramel, clove and cedar are also present, a nod to the well-integrated oak character. On the palate, complimentary flavors of Bing cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis accompany baking spice notes and hints of anise, crafting a Cabernet that is rich and plush with a mouth filling texture. Velvety tannins envelope the dense fruit providing balance and texture, all leading to a long, luscious finish. Very drinkable upon release, this Cabernet is a crowd-pleaser, and is certain to age for the next several years.

Decoy Napa Valley Merlot is a single-varietal wine made entirely from Merlot grapes sourced from premium vineyards in Napa Valley, California. The wine is aged for 10 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, resulting in a smooth and balanced flavour profile. Decoy Napa Valley Merlot has a deep ruby colour with aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and vanilla. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, providing a long and satisfying finish.

Overture reflects the winemaker's artistry by showcasing the talent of blending five traditional Bordeaux grape varieties and capturing terroir characteristics of the same variety grown in different soils. However, Overture's third blending aspect - that of marrying multiple vintages - yields a softer, rounder expression of our estate that can be enjoyed upon release.Overture is full bodied but approachable in its youth. Overture shows generous dark fruit aromas and flavors with a soft, supple mid-palate.

The Opus One 2017 offers a harmonious aromatic balance of rich dark fruit, stems of roses, and earthy forest floor. The juicy entry offers a round, silky mouthfeel with just enough acidity to complement the satin texture. This seductive wine shows flavors of black cassis, black cherry and a hint of cocoa powder. The fine-grained, plush tannins evolve into a long, supple finish.

Blackberry and light dried fruit with oyster-shell undertones. It’s full-bodied with round, lightly chewy tannins that nicely accentuate the fruit character. Walnuts and wet earth. Delicious now, but better in two or three years.

19 Crimes Cali Rosé is a delightful blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Grenache grapes sourced from California. This non-vintage wine has a beautiful pink color with orange hues, and it exudes aromas of ripe strawberries, watermelon, and citrus. On the palate, it is light-bodied and refreshing, with flavors of red fruit, citrus, and a hint of spice. Traditionally, Palermo was a blend that included wine not used in Mercury Head or Papillon, but winemaker Dave Phinney now sources fruit specifically for this bottling. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo, aged for 11 months in 34% new oak and crafted from a blend of estate-grown and purchased fruit, also incorporates small proportions of Merlot and Malbec. It presents aromas of cherries, cassis, and subtle earthiness, complemented by hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Full-bodied and well-balanced, it offers a combination of firmness and softness, resulting in an overall enjoyable drinking experience.

Bone dry and minerally, with a stony austerity to the lemons, limes, pears and pineapples. Enormously complex in the interaction of fruit, acidity, lees, oak and fine, subtle tannins. Chablis-like and elegant, and should show evolutionary development over the next six years.

Decoy Sauvignon Blanc is a single-varietal wine made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from premium vineyards in Sonoma County, California. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh and vibrant character. Decoy Sauvignon Blanc has a pale straw colour with aromas of citrus, melon, and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with flavours of grapefruit, lime, and passion fruit. The wine has a bright acidity and a clean, zesty finish.

This wine is ideal for pairing with seafood, salads, and light appetizers.

Mike Grgich first gained international recognition at the celebrated Paris Tasting of 1976. This historic tasting gave the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, crafted by Mike Grgich, first place as the finest white wine in the world. After this solid recognition, he started Grgich Hills winery in Rutherford Hills. 2023 marks the 100th birthday of this iconic producer who is a legend in Napa Valley. This Cabernet offers black currant and ripe black cherries, followed by forest floor and bay leaf and vanilla undertones. Bright acidity, and youthful tannins are evident; no doubt this wine has the ability to age.

Perhaps one of the most popular California Chardonnays, the 'Proprietors Select' is only made in exceptional vintages, and blending the best barrels from the finest lots. Carneros region in Napa Valley offers ideal growing conditions for the grape variety. This is gorgeous Rombauer with intense and expressive flavours of peach, clove and freshly baked pastries. The acidity is bright and refreshing and the finish is long and concentrated. The perfect pairing to Fettucine Alfredo and corn chowder soup.

Framed by lovely bright acidity and fine tannins, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has vibrant fruit notes shining through to the end.

Gold Bars' 'Rickhouse' Straight Bourbon Whisky is a bourbon with a mash bill of 80% corn and 20% rye. It is a bold, rich and spicy bourbon with pronounced vanilla and smoke. Smoky aromas of grilled meats, campfire, caramel, brown sugar and coffee. Smooth with a nutty, vanilla-bean finish. Non-chill filtered, it's bottled at 103 proof or cask strength or 51.5% abv. Enjoy on the rocks, or to enhance any bourbon based cocktail. 

Red blends of this type rarely shine as brightly. This ultra concentrated and smooth-textured blend including Merlot, Petite Sirah and Malbec is inky dark in color, luxurious aromatic of blueberries, blackcurrants and mint followed by oak spices and dark chocolate on the palate. Creamy in texture, it is laden in massive but melted tannins. Best from 2026-2036.

The CASK 23 combines the signature perfume notes of FAY vineyard with the structure and dark fruit of S.L.V. Fragrant and fresh aromas of red and black currant, black tea, anise and nutmeg fill the nose. The wine has a vibrant mouthfeel with savory and velvety tannins along with blackberry and currant flavors. This is an elegant, flavorful vintage of CASK 23 with integrated oak, refined tannins and a lasting aftertaste.

The Robert Mondavi Napa Pinot Noir is a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Napa Valley region of California. The 2016 Vinum Cellars Red Dirt Red begins with a pleasing aroma of red cherry, cranberry and baking spice. The wine tastes of plum and cherry and features lots of earthy, meaty and mineral notes along with touches of balsamic and black olive plus more baking spice. Smoky, almost mesquite like notes lead into the long dry finish. With plenty of complexity and lots of layers to discover, this is an excellent choice. The addition of Petite Sirah (which actually originated in the Rhone but isn't grown there today) works quite well with the GSM.
