Clos Figueras is located in Gratallops, within the Priorat Qualified Designation of Origin. The property was purchased in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan. Clos Figueras owns an original estate of old Garnacha and Cariñena vineyards. In addition, other varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet and Viognier have been planted. The Clos Figueres wine is made of a blend of grenache and carignan from 80 year old vines.The nose shows lively red cherry and black fruit flavours with a touch of classy oak. Young and fresh with the classic mineral character of the Priorat. The palate is smooth and rich with great finesse, depth and class. Ageing potential for up to 20 years.

Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey from Conecuh Ridge Distillery bears the name of the man responsible for the brand, Clyde May. Clyde crafted his first spirits in 1946, but it wasn’t until 2001 that the distilling operation was made legal. The company built its name around this popular “Alabama Style Whiskey”, which according to their website is finished with a hint of apple and is the Official State Spirit of Alabama. Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey is bottled at 85 proof. The mashbill is 55% corn, 30% rye, and 15% barley. The whiskey is aged 6 to 7 years in oak barrels and is finished with a hint of apple.

Nose: Aromas of honey, citrus zest, and a hint of sea salt.

Taste: Smooth and creamy with flavors of vanilla, toffee, and ripe fruits.

The Clynelish Distillery, situated in Brora, Highlands, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to 1819, with the current facility established in 1967 alongside the original Brora distillery. Initially struggling, it gained prominence in 1896 when acquired by Ainslie & Heilbron, later owned by John Risk. Despite closure in the 1930s, it operated during World War II. Clynelish is renowned as a premium Single Malt, notably used in Johnnie Walker blends. This 10-year-old edition, part of Diageo Special Releases 2023, is exclusively aged in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels.

Named for the giant old-growth Douglas fir sitting right at the top of the vineyard, Old Firs is a study in terroir. No matter the length of the growing season, nor the size of crop, Old Firs always has a hallmark salinity backed with a ton of power and intensity. In Código 1530 Reposado, the vibrant purity of Blanco tequila intertwines with the sophisticated complexity derived from our unique resting techniques. Aged for six months in French White Oak Napa Valley Cabernet wine barrels, our Reposado boasts the lively essence of ripe agave complemented by the subtle warmth of whiskey undertones.

This wine is characterized by its highly structured, harmonious, and delicate nature, boasting a long-lasting finish. Its refreshing acidity effectively counterbalances the wine's alcohol content, while the tannins, dense yet finely textured, contribute to its overall balance and complexity.

Eye: A stunning harmony of orange and mahogany shades.

Nose: A floral scent characteristic of the Borderies region, accentuated by notes of violet.

Palate: The violet notes are elegantly composed, enriched with an essence of velvet. This profile is perfectly complemented by coffee or chocolate.

Coil Signal Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is a fine example of the elegance and complexity that the Mendocino Ridge AVA can impart to this noble grape. This wine likely showcases the characteristic bright acidity and red fruit flavors of Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry, raspberry, and perhaps a hint of cranberry, complemented by nuances of earth, spice, and a delicate floral note, possibly violet or rose. Aged in oak, it might offer subtle hints of vanilla and toast that enrich the wine's profile without overpowering the delicate fruit. The high elevation of the Signal Ridge Vineyard contributes to a pronounced minerality and finesse in the wine, leading to a long, refined finish.

“Colibri” is Italian for hummingbird and considered a symbol of freedom. From a well-known region of Italy, from family-owned vineyards, the wines are not just non-alcoholic, but certified organic. This spumante has a beautiful coral pink colour. On the nose, it reveals scents of small red berries, honey and apple. Crisp palate with citrus character mixed with cranberries and raspberries. Good texture from the bubbles, and pleasant acidity that brings freshness and a firm finish.

Collard-Picard Cuvee Prestige Brut is an elegant and refined Champagne, showcasing the artistry of the Collard-Picard house. This cuvée blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, sourced from premier and grand cru vineyards, offering a brilliant balance of richness and finesse. It features a bright, golden hue with lively bubbles and an expressive nose of green apple, citrus fruits, and floral hints, complemented by a subtle bready undertone. On the palate, it's vibrant and fresh, with a creamy texture and flavors of ripe fruit, lemon zest, and a touch of minerality. The finish is long and crisp, leaving a delightful freshness. Beautifully blue, this Lavender & Juniper Gin is blended with unique herbs like heather, lavender and chamomile. With just a touch of bergamot and sweet almond, this gin finishes dry on the palate.

Colpetrone's Sacer Montefalco Sagrantino is a rich and intense wine that embodies the unique character of Sagrantino grapes grown in the Montefalco area of Umbria, Italy. It has a deep ruby color and aromas of dark fruit, blackberry, and plum, complemented by hints of leather, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or aged for several years to further develop its complexity and depth.

Medium rich, fruity and direct on the palate with orchard fruit flavours and tangy acidity on the finish.

Nose: Rich and fruity with notes of ripe red berries, dried fruits, and a hint of citrus zest. There are also hints of vanilla, toffee, and a subtle smokiness.

Taste: The palate is full-bodied and complex, with flavors of juicy plums, black cherries, and dark chocolate. There is a gentle spiciness, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as a touch of oak.

Palate: The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruits, toasted almonds, and a touch of smoky peat.

Oat flapjacks, golden syrup, beautiful dry-roasted spice notes, vanilla essence, cornbread, creamed coconut, and flashes of mango and apple. A luxuriant feast of sweet vanilla, soft warm bread, whipped cream, caramel, a little tug of spice, with a late ripple of grain flavors. Caramel, spice, and grain notes mark the finish.

The original recipe has evolved and includes older and more elegant Islay malts, boasting bold coastal flavours that combine the smokiness of a driftwood fire with more medicinal peat notes. The flavours are peaty and smoky with orchard fruits that deliver a rich creaminess. Enjoy neat or over ice.

The tastiest of their Signature range, this boasts a dry oak and spice nose with fudge, rye bread, and banana interwoven with French oak influences of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ground ginger. As the gentle orange, malt, pear, and apple settle down, little spicy explosions of ginger and pepper detonate, leaving an aftermath of spiced malt, coffee cake, milk chocolate, and cocoa. Such a wonderful flavor trajectory to behold.

Once upon a time, Carmín de Peumo was your typical ripe and beefy Carmenère, but not here. This offering, harvested in late May (the equivalent of November in the Northern Hemisphere), deals tomato leaf, currant, cranberry and dried-herb aromas in front of a racy palate that's medium in weight. Spicy, leafy red-fruit flavors are oaky and come with notes of cocoa and coffee, while a dry and snappy finish is lean by previously set Carmenère standards.

This is a non-chill filtered bottling. Initially, it’s perfume-centric with highly floral notes until a grain neutralizer sets in, with hints of caramel and vanilla. Cornbread, honey, and slight hints of pepper, herbs, and tobacco. Finishes short with a mouthful of lovely sweet corn pudding.

The Contra Soarda Gaggion Marzemino Nero is a delicious red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region of Italy. Made entirely from the Marzemino Nero grape variety, it boasts a beautiful ruby color and offers aromas of cherry, blackberry, and spices on the nose. On the palate, it is dry, medium-bodied, and well-structured, with flavors of dark fruit, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, leading to a long and satisfying finish.

"Baked apples and pears, laced with white flowers, are complemented by hints of raw almond as the 2020 Bianco Contrada Passochianche (PC) blossoms in the glass. It's elegant and silky in feel, with ripe melon and inner florals that cascade across the palate, as a core of minerality and hints of spice reveal themselves toward the close. The 2020 tapers offincredibly long with a bitter twang, as hints of young peach and inner herbal tones fade. The Passochianche is just a baby today, yet it's packed full of potential. The balance here is unreal. It hails from high-elevation vines (1,000 meters) planted in deep, sandy volcanic soils. The wine spends thirty-six hours macerating on the skins, and then refines for seventeen months in neutral fifteen-hectoliter barrels." -Vinous
