This Rose is made with 100% Syrah and has a vibrant nose aromas of crabapple, watermelon, wild strawberries, and cherries. A serious 100% Gamay rosé from Haywire Winery, fragrant with layers of ripe strawberry, raspberry, cream, fine dried herbs and pepper spice flavours balanced with brilliant acidity and velvety with a long finish. Grapes for this vintage were whole cluster pressed to concrete, foudre and stainless-steel tanks and then aged in tank for seven months. We enjoyed it lightly chilled with juicy pork chops from the grill.

Isola Augusta (Augusta Island) was acquired in 1959 by Renzo Bassani, who fell in love with this land, renovating old vineyards to start producing wines. The Bassani family was one of the first in the region to replace the chemical interventions in the wines with physical processes, controlling the fermentation of the musts with the cold technique. In 1972, son Massimo took over, constructing new buildings and establishing modern techniques.Today Isola Augusta is a combination of both modern and traditional.

Saint Max Côtes de Provence Rosé is a pale pink, dry, and crisp wine produced by the Abeille and Fabre family (Château Mont-Redon). A typical blend of 73% Grenache, 22% Cinsault, and 5% Syrah, it features intense citrus (grapefruit) and peach notes with a refreshing mineral finish. Made with the same grapes and care that go into the Leitz award-winning “regular” Rieslings and Pinot Noirs, the wines are de-alcoholised through a low temperature vaccuum distillation process to ensure alcohol is removed without removing the all important natural aromas and remarkable properties of the terroir. Made with Merlot, Portugieser and Pinot Noir, the wine is clean and fresh with notes of pale strawberries, raspberry and citrus; slight hints of fresh grapefruit and an underlying mineral base. The finish is dry and relatively long.
