The 2014 vintage marked a return to form after three challenging years. A cool, damp summer was rescued by a glorious Indian summer, allowing grapes to ripen fully. The wines are fresh, structured, and classically styled, with excellent ageing potential—especially from the Left Bank. While not as opulent as 2015 or 2016, 2014 offers precision, balance, and strong value across many appellations.

"2014 is a very good to excellent vintage that may surprise with its ageing potential."Neal Martin
