Caymus has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe tannins – as approachable in youth as in maturity. J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon is red-purple in color with a bright hue at release. Fruit aromas are black cherry, plum and blueberry accented with a barrel bouquet of toasted pastry, dark caramel and vanilla. Sturdy tannins strike the palate and finish with a high-toned fruit signature.

Sourced primarily from cooler appellations within Napa Valley, this Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and vibrant with layers of bright red berry fruits, alongside a floral potpourri. Baking spice notes of caramel, clove and cedar are also present, a nod to the well-integrated oak character. On the palate, complimentary flavors of Bing cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis accompany baking spice notes and hints of anise, crafting a Cabernet that is rich and plush with a mouth filling texture. The scarlet red color is characterized by a complex and intense bouquet, with notes of sweet fruits – ripe plums and figs – which develop over time, coupled in the end with fine flavors of spices and saffron. Tignanello was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first contemporary red wine blended with untraditional varieties (specifically Cabernet) and one of the first red wines in the Chianti Classico region that didn’t use white grapes. Tignanello is a milestone. It’s produced with a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Cricova Cabernet is especially famous for its dark ruby color and its suave bouquet with light nuances of almonds, vanilla, and violets. Crafted with grapes harvested from the vineyards located in the Codru and Valul lui Traian wine regions, this wine displays a soft bouquet of floral and vanilla on the nose. The 2016 Paveil de Luze is terrific. Wafting from the glass with notions of crème de cassis, loamy soil, cigar wrapper, pencil shavings, dark chocolate and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with fine depth at the core and a more introverted, tightly wound profile than the 2019.

Moldovan wine doesn't have the same recognition as some of its other neighbours that make wine in Europe, but vines have been growing here for thousands of years, as far back as 3000 BC. Saperavi is a versatile grape, vinified both sweet and dry. There is a well balanced flavour here with a mix of oak, sour cherry and black current that has sweetness, but balanced by high acidity.

From Georgia, one of the worlds most ancient winemaking countries, this unique red wine made with Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli has a ruby red color, this wine offers a spicy bouquet of raspberries, cherries, juniper, and a hint of pine cones. After harvest, the grapes are chilled and transported by sea to Caymus, where our unique winemaking techniques produce a wine that is dense, dark, and supple. Red Schooner wines are identified by the voyage number rather than a vintage date, with Voyage 12 corresponding to the 2022 vintage. It has a medium body with soft, ripe tannins and flavors of ripe Bing cherries, blackberries, and plum, complemented by vanilla, toasty oak, and coffee notes according to Wine and Beyond. The finish is long, making it a great pairing for roasted or grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, and strong cheeses.

The Bastardo grape is primarily known as the grape used in Portugal to make Port. In Moldova this hand harvested semi-sweet grape, creates a dark ruby coloured wine. It exhibits aromas of black cherry and violets, ending with a light sweetness on the palate. Bastardo can be enjoyed alone or paired with beef or veal dishes.

Concentrated and rich aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of vanilla and mocha. Ripe black fruit flavors unfold in a long and savoury finish, balanced with well-integrated tannins.

Decoy Limited Alexander Valley Red Wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, and other red Bordeaux varieties sourced from premium vineyards in  California. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 10 months, resulting in a rich and complex flavour profile, with a deep ruby colour with aromas of dark fruit, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with flavours of blackberry, black cherry, and cocoa, with a hint of toasty oak. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish.

This wine is ideal for pairing with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and hard cheeses.

An aroma of oak smoke and flavors of black pepper and blackberries dominate this full-bodied, chunky and moderately tannic wine. It's a little rough edged, but nicely robust and flavorful.

Rara Neagra is a Romanian-Moldovan red grape variety that is cultivated in both regions. A great alternative to Merlot, this wine is smooth with a complex aroma of pomegranate, plum and chocolate. The full, velvety taste, with hints of dried fruit and vanilla smoothly pass into an oaky finish.

This wine features aromas of red cherry, violet and talcum powder. In the mouth there are flavors of tart cherry and pomegranate juice. It is well balanced, with a pleasantly acidic finish.
