Founded in 1608, Schweinhardt Winery is a testament to centuries of winemaking excellence. This esteemed estate, known as Bürgermeister, meaning "mayor" in German, pays homage to Axel Schweinhardt’s grandfather, Willi Schweinhardt, who served as the mayor of Langenlonsheim from 1946 to 1969. Now in its fifth generation under the expert guidance of Axel, the winery continues to honour its rich heritage.

Nestled between the enchanting Mosel and Rhone valleys, the Nahe region is a hidden gem of viticultural splendour. The name Nahe derives from the river that meanders through the forested Hunsrück Hills, making its way toward Bingen on the Rhine. The area’s striking rock formations, unique mineral deposits, and gemstone-rich soils contribute to its exceptional geological diversity, offering a wide spectrum of exquisite wines that capture the essence of this remarkable landscape.
