The modern day Maison of Veuve Clicquot possesses one of the finest champagne vineyards, both in terms of its size and the quality of its vines. Its 390 hectares are divided between 12 of the 17 Grands Crus, and between 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus that constitute the entire Champagne region. This exceptional heritage was built up over the centuries, founded upon the parcels first established by the founder, and added to by subsequent vineyard directors. Bright golden appearance shot through with amber highlights. A delightfully refined Rivesaltes with a classy bouquet of soft caramel, stewed apples, pears, nuts and an overriding impression of completeness. Round and elegant on the palate, with a Margaux like understated sophistication. Unmistakeable rancio characters help to place this in a blind tasting, but this is preceeded by impressions of butterscotch, walnut fudge, soft brown sugar and a little treacle. Very gentle on the long length with a pleasing warmth that lingers long after the wine has disappeared.

A rosé created by a long, gentle infusion of Pinot noir that extracts its juicy ripeness while preserving its tremendous saline freshness. In this process, some Chardonnay juices are added to the Pinot noir maceration, to ferment together and achieve the perfect integration of the two grape varieties.

The bright golden color is truly festive. The flavors are complex, with notes of honey and sweet fruit that develops in time, revealing the fine flavors of spices and exotic fruits. The sweet taste and velvety notes show deep but delicate oak hues.

With a beautiful dark golden or amber colour, they have scents of hazelnuts, almonds, nut husks, candied citrus fruit and roasted notes. - Red Rivesaltes that is bottled young (75% Grenache Noir) and aged without oxidization for at least 12 months, three of which are in bottles.

Appereance: Straw yellow with golden highlights with very bright tones.

Nose: Intense and complex. Ripe white fruit: peaches, golden apple, quince. Citrus fruits like lemon peel. Flashes of aromatic herbs and white flowers, such as laurel and lemon peel. The aging notes are endless: crust of puff pastry, brioche, nuts (such as toasted hazelnuts and almonds), English cream, praline, vanilla...

Bright yellow hue with slightly green tints and bubbles that are soft, creamy, fine and delicate.
