The roots of Domaine Parent date back to the 17th century. Currently the domaine is being run by the 12th generation - Anne Parent and her sister Catherine Fages-Parent. Anne is self-taught, following the lunar cycle and principles of biodynamics to express all the peculiarities of each plot. Canadian Robert Tome learned his craft of hospitality in Italy, studying with the Italian Sommelier Association. Fukucho Seaside is a premium sake produced by Imada Sake Brewery, located in the Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan. It is made using high-quality Yamada Nishiki rice and pure water sourced from a nearby mountain. Fukucho Seaside is a junmai ginjo style sake, which means it is brewed using only rice, water, yeast, and koji mold without any added alcohol. It has a delicate and fruity aroma, with notes of pear, melon, and a hint of green apple. On the palate, it is clean and refreshing, with a soft mouthfeel and a slightly dry finish. The name "Seaside" reflects the brewer's intention to create a sake that evokes the freshness and purity of the nearby sea. Roland Piollot and Dominique Moreau are Champagne Piollot, a family Estate in the Aube dating to the late 19th Century. The couple are also responsible for the Champagnes of Marie Courtin. Dominique’s family vineyards make Marie Courtin, Roland’s family vineyards make Champagne Piollot. Roland, fifth generation grower, was joined by his daughter Jeanne in 2018.
Although Pinot Meunier is widely planted in the Marne Valley, it is relatively rare in the Aube. Only a mere 6% of the Piollot family vineyards are planted to Pinot Meunier, but they decided to highlight this grape with the Mepetit vineyard in Polisot starting in 2015. Aging in oak barrels gives this wine a uniquely complex texture and profile that is not to be missed. The wine is aged on the lees for four years before release, and like all of the Champagnes from Piollot, it’s disgorged non-dosé.

From the tiny appellation of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 13 grapes are allowed in the blend, yet with grenache, syrah and mourvedre dominant. The Domaine de Cristia is a typical blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvedre with a brooding, intense deep colour. The bouquet is an elegant mix of black currant, blackberries, violets, deli meats and hints of leather and pepper. The palate is well balanced with fine-grained tannins and a long, powerful finish. This wine will cellar well for the next 10-15 years.

Gerard Bertrand is an icon for wines of Southern France. In 1975 in the vineyards of Corbieres that Gerard Bertrand found his passion for wine. Learning under his father Georges, Gerard is the third generation of family winemakers and is now working alongside the fourth generation, Emma & Mathias. Owning several ‘Chateaux’ and ‘Domaine’, Bertrand is continuing to develop his vision and diversity of Languedoc wines. The Orange Gold tells the story of the origins of a time, that of the first wines made in Georgia. Also known as "amber wine", orange wine is the stuff of this fourth color, as singular as it is surprising. Bright and sunny, the orange wine, a true southern wine, offers a great potential for aging with its fresh and subtle notes. Very dry, it is distinguished by its tannic, complex and radiant character. A classic, yet clean orange wine, it is made with Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Marsanne, Mauzac, Muscat, and Clairette. The nose is complex, fragrant and very fresh, brimming with peach, apricot and mirabelle plum. The palate is round, smooth and fine-textured with the precise flavours experienced on the nose, along with a fine balance of acid, and yes, tannins (due to fermentation on the skins.

This wine exudes freshness both on the nose and palate, with an abundance of crisp apple and pear flavors taking the spotlight. While it may not exhibit a wide range of complexities, its balance, intensity, and immediate drinkability more than compensate for this.

The nose of this wine needs some air in order to wake up but soon notions of ripe Amalfi lemon and butter rise from the glass. On the palate, freshness takes center stage, with a playful, concentated finesse that dances across the tongue. The wine is wonderfully sprightly and refreshing, with unforced resonance. Forty percent of this Cru is made in oak. Instantly it seems more complex, with more schist and flint, and a nutty character too, the gentle toasted almond very appealing. Mouth-filling and ripe, so much more weight here and more ripe juiciness than the Vaillons, quite a different style but then the finish is lean and super fresh, with the lick of salty acidity powering through.

Bright young straw colour wth a green hue. Pure and fragrant aromas offering white peach, pear, lemongrass and flinty notes. The palate shows very nice restraint in terms of freshness, mouth watering with crisp young stone fruit flavours, good volume and texture with fine extract and a very long vibrant finish.

A multi-vineyard blend, this uses both barrel and concrete egg ferments. It's textured and complex, with lightly buttery apple fruit, a whiff of toast and salty minerality. It was aged for 16 months, and roughly half of the barrels used were new.

The finish is long and refreshing, with a lingering complexity that invites contemplation. Their Chardonnay is a testament to the winery's commitment to highlighting the unique character of their vineyard sites, producing a wine that is both refined and expressive.

Medium yellow/green colour. There are intense pea-pod & asparagus aromas. The palate is rich with a touch of sweetness/juicy ripeness, overlaid by toasty oak. The alcohol adds a touch of warmth & the acidity is quite tart, leaving green notes on the finish.

Medium golden yellow, silver reflections. Nuances of yellow apple, delicate pineapple, fine citrus zest, mineral touch. Medium complexity, white fruit, fine acid structure, subtle extract sweetness in the finish, well balanced, already developed and easy to drink, subtle floral honey in the aftertaste.
