Embodying an iconic legacy, Chateau De Fieuzal Blanc 2020 offers silky tannins interwoven with flavors of blackberry, tobacco, and graphite —an exceptional wine that captures the soul of its vineyard with every sip.

Located in the heart of the Graves, the Chateau is named after the family it belonged to until 1851. Now owned by the Quinn family, although more famous for minerally driven Bordeaux white blends, their red wines are also excellent. The current winemaker is a big believer in translation of terroir: he wants all the wines to have a sense of place. The 2014 Fieuzal is a red blend made with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc for a ripe and fruity wine with herbal and earthy nuances, underpinned with firm, yet refined tannins and well-balanced acidity. Exellent potential for ageing.

This gorgeous white wine is a blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Colombard that blends acacia flowers, nutmeg spice and lemony citrus that pairs well with many seafood dishes, both grilled and raw!

The 2019 Grand Cru is a cuvée that is the most faithful expression of Clos de Vougeot.Picked from different plots, the grapes are vinified and aged separately, then blended just before bottling. This 100% Pinot Noir is a powerful wine with penetrating aromas of cherry and spice. Powerful tannins and mouth filling, give this wine some time to settle down. Try from 2024 and beyond.

The Ybert family has owned the Château for over four generations, maintaining their Grand Cru classification since 1987 through a commitment to outstanding quality and craftsmanship. This 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Red boasts a deep ruby red color with purple and dense notes. It exudes delicate aromas of sweet spices, toasted notes, and intense black fruits. On the palate, it is rich and complex, generously full of fresh fruit aromas with silky tannins that lend it great finesse. The finish is sweet and leaves a memory of an elegant, tender, harmonious, and pleasantly outstanding wine, which can be enjoyed young but will benefit from aging for 8 to 10 years if stored correctly in a temperature-controlled environment.

It is arrayed in an intense, bright garnet red hue flecked with purple. The charming and pleasant nose offers a lovely bouquet of red fruit and liquorice. A White wine from Bordeaux, France. Made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc The harvest is strictly and carefully selected, destemmed and crushed before a natural cold settling. Stainless Steel tank fermentation at a low temperature with a post-fermentation and maceration on lees .

Mineral yet textured. Solid buttery fruit with a white grapefruit touch note and faint mineral note. Lovely, classically-styled Meursault that shows a very fine balance between freshness and body. An east facing clay-limestone vineyard just below Genevrières.

Eye: A rich, deep amber hue.

Nose: Vibrant bursts of summer florals characteristic of the region, with notes of linden flowers, elderflower, and apple blossom. Ripe orchard fruits follow, evoking a sense of freshness.

Palate: Indulgent flavors reminiscent of sweet cider crafted from red apples. Subtle undertones of pear juice intertwine with a delicate hint of almond, leading to a surprisingly prolonged finish, a distinguishing feature for a VS expression.

This has the typical structure of a Saint-Estèphe, fleshed out with ripe black fruits. There is fine juicy acidity and rich tannins. An impressive opulence gives this wine good potential.

Gigondas legend Louis Barruol purchases grapes from the Gard to produce this 100% Syrah Côtes-du-Rhône bottling. Plump and generous in mouthfeel, it's an undeniably southern, sun-drenched expression of Syrah but with a cutting mineral freshness and salty tang on the finish. Soft tannins and hints of bramble and cut stone rim flavors of rich, ruddy black-cherry and plum preserves. Best enjoyed young.

This wine is light in colour, featuring spicy, floral, cherry, and licorice aromas. It opens with a dry, savoury attack with sour cherry, smoky, peppery, and celery salt notes, complemented by soft and round tannins. Flavours of blackberry, blueberry, and dark chocolate balance the mid-palate, enhanced by a touch of oak from barrel ageing. The finish is light, with lingering notes of plum and violets.

The personal secretary of King Louis XIV, Phelippeau de Pontchartrain, acquired these hunting estates located near the forests of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and with excellent land for vineyards.
The domain recently celebrated its 350th anniversary and is reinforced with modern facilities that allow them to diversify the methods of winemaking and enhance this magnificent terroir.

The grapes are placed in temperature-controlled vats for a cold maceration of two to four days, then a controlled fermentation. The intensity of the ventilation and the choice of temperatures are made according to the vintage to seek harmony, fruit and elegance while having texture and volume upon tasting.

Inky dark purple colour. Pure nose, ripe dark fruit, cassis, kirsch and floral notes. Dense palate, high freshness and tannin with bright dark fruit, still young and restrained with a tannic bite but nice pure fruit and good length.

Dark ruby. Slight funk on the nose, but ripe red fruit and spice permeates. Intense flavours of ripe red Cherry, raspberry, strawberry, lemon salt, cinnamon, nutmeg. Dry, medium bodied. Good acidity and low, soft tannins. ABV 13.5%. Juicy, fruity, and fresh. Natural wine that has rusticity.

A third growth in the 1855 Classification, Chateau Desmirail is located in the Margaux appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. The name of this Chateau is unique as the property does not bear the name of its original owner, Marguerite Rauzan du Ribail, but rather that of her husband, Jean-Baptiste Desmirail. It is also one of the few chateaux with an ancient "Medocain" system - a gravity operated vat room that is still well-preserved. The red blend consists of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot and this 2014 is attractive and ready to drink now.

Medium-bodied and fresh with a plummy quality, this wine is focused on red fruits and sweet-smelling earth. Bright and a little strict, give this a few years to come around and soften.

100% Malbec. Dark red colour. A very fruity nose, both powerful and elegant, it is perfectly round and soft on the palate with great fruit intensity. Enjoy this wine by itself, or pair with cheese, pizzas, grilled meat or pastas.

In 1961, the estate was acquired by Phillipe Gasqueton who restored the vineyards and chateau after WWII. After his death in 1995, his widow sold the property to the neighbouring owners of Chateau Giscours, a 3rd Growth. In 1997, the estate was restructured and redesigned by the current Dutch owners of Albada-Jelgersma. The 2014 is a red blend with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. The Petit Verdot provides a tannic, structured lift to frame the raspberry, baked cherries, potpourri and forest floor aromas. Excellent ageing potential here, drink from 2024-2040.

In 1961, the estate was acquired by Phillipe Gasqueton who restored the vineyards and chateau after WWII. After his death in 1995, his widow sold the property to the neighbouring owners of Chateau Giscours, a 3rd Growth. In 1997, the estate was restructured and redesigned by the current Dutch owners of Albada-Jelgersma. This red blend has mainly cabernet sauvignon, with the balance of merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. A typical Margaux style with elegant floral and red fruits on the nose, yet with plenty of tobacco, cedar and dried herbs with a soft texture, and fresh acidity. Wait a couple of years to enjoy this and drink from 2025-2040.

Harvest took place this year from 23rd September to 8th October. The wine was aged for around 12 months in two-thirds new oak. Medium brick-brown in color, the 1990 Ducru-Beaucaillou is quite evolved, offering notions of incense, tree bark, tilled soil and tobacco with nuances of preserved plums, kirsch, tapenade and leather. Medium to full-bodied, the palate still possesses a good amount of earth-laced savory fruit with a bit of chew to the texture and a stewed tea finish.

Once again, this wine is of first-growth quality, not only from an intellectual perspective, but in its hedonistic characteristics. More open-knit inaccessible than the 1996, Ducru's 1995 exhibits a saturated ruby/purple color folowed by knock-out nose of blueberry and black raspberry/cassis fruit intertwined with minerals, flowers, and subtle toasty new oak. Like its younger sibling, the wine possesses a sweet, rich mid-palate (from extract and ripeness, not sugar), layers of flavors good delineation and grip, but generally unobtrusive tannin and acidity. It is a classic, compelling example of Ducru Beaucaillou that should not be missed. Drink 2003-2025.
