The Robert Keenan Winery is located in the Spring Mountain District, high in the Mayacamas mountain range above the town of Saint Helena. We planted eleven acres of Merlot vines in the rocky soils surrounding the winery, and we believe this mountainside vineyard produces some of the finest Merlot in all of Napa Valley. Sited above the dense fog that creeps up the Napa Valley most evenings, the vineyard warms earlier in the morning, and temperatures remain warm throughout the night. Combining these warm temperatures, steep hillside vine rows, and gravelly soils promotes stress on the vines, increasing the intensity of flavours and aromas in the finished wine.

Kunde Estate grown Zinfandel is a charmer with its aromas of blueberries, violets and raspberry preserves and ripe flavors of blackberry and plum with a spicy white pepper note. Juicy and fruit forward, this vintage is marked particularly by its rich, lengthy finish.
Winemaker’s Comments “Zinfandel grown on the hillsides of the Sonoma Valley produces personality packed wines. The temperate climate and length of growing days offers enough heat to build fresh fruit flavors without being over ripe but still develops hints of pepper spice. I feel the hills of the Kunde Estate allow that perfect blend of maturity that still expresses complexity. This vintage offers a great deal of fruit forward opulence from a wine without any residual sugar.”

La Storia Merlot is and has been a consistently fine example of the ability of this classic Bordeaux variety to make solid, tasty, and age-worthy wines.

The main aromas and flavours are dark cherry, plums, a bit of black liquorice, and herbs. The new oak barrels contribute a touch of vanilla, brown sugar, cocoa dust, and toast.

On the mouth the wine is soft and viscous, balancing the acidity and the tannins well for such a young wine. The finish is long and soft with a suggestion of sweetness backed by ripe tannins.

St. Romedius Red Table Wine is a light-bodied, bright, and versatile red blend from Lodi, California, featuring Sangiovese, Teroldego, and a hint of dry Muscat Canelli. It has a light magenta color and notes of raspberry, watermelon, and blueberry on the nose, with a soft and juicy palate and bright acidity. This sustainable, minimal-intervention wine is described as a "dangerously refreshing thirst quencher" that pairs well with casual foods like pizza, burgers, and tacos.

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its rich, layered flavor profile, characterized by deep dark fruits, hints of spice, and smooth, refined tannins. The wine typically displays notes of black cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant, often accompanied by subtle nuances like cedar, vanilla, and licorice. The tasting notes also mention a balanced acidity, a long and fragrant finish, and a full-bodied texture.

The estate vineyards of Opus One, comprised of 4 parcels, sit in the western portion of the famed Oakville AVA. Two parcels, totaling 100 acres, are within the renowned To Kalon Vineyard. These are complemented by the combined 70 acres of the Ballestra and River parcels, which envelop the winery. In the vineyards, hand-harvesting and other traditional approaches are taken wherever they work best. When modern techniques benefit the winegrowing process, they are researched, evaluated and integrated into practice.

Winemaker Steve Doerner, renowned for his work at Calera and Cristom, introduces Luke Jefferson, a new wine project named in homage to his son and Thomas Jefferson. Produced in minuscule quantities, it reflects Steve's personal vision apart from Cristom's style, with his spouse Irene also involved. This Pinot offers intoxicating notes of ripe raspberry, bright cherries, and fragrant spices, promising further development with five years of aging.

Miner’s Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc that spent 21 months in 60% new French oak without being overly impacted by the wood. Scents of crushed stone, pencil shavings, cherries and sage mark the nose of this full-bodied effort, which comes across as tannic and even a bit rugged

No matter the length of the growing season, nor the size of crop, Old Firs always has a hallmark salinity backed with a ton of power and intensity. The furthest west of all our plantings Old Firs Block is constantly in a deluge of fog and cold Pacific winds. The site speaks clearly year after year through both winemaking and vintage. This is one for the ages.

Bread & Butter Pinot Noir is a fruit-forward, California red wine known for its smooth, approachable, and noticeably sweet oak profile. It bursts with juicy cherries and ripe raspberries, complemented by soft vanilla, cassis, and toasted oak. The wine is light-to-medium bodied with a silky, velvety finish.

Caymus Special Selection is always a selection of the best barrels that play to a style constantly pushing the limits of richness and concentration, in this case, clocking in at 16% alcohol. The nose is slightly cooked and raisiny with plenty of cassis, chocolate, and coffee spilling onto the palate. Blackberry jam, pipe tobacco and brown spices line a richly dark, dense tannin finish. It is only made in the best years, but I wouldn’t mind if this was throttled back a bit.

The 2022 Harlan Estate is an opulent, world-class Bordeaux blend (primarily Cabernet Sauvignon) from Napa Valley’s Oakville AVA. The 2022 vintage was marked by early harvest and low yields, resulting in a vibrant, full-bodied wine balancing intense aromatic energy with seamless, structured tannins.

The 2017 Harlan Estate is a profound, full-bodied Napa Valley red blend (78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot). It is celebrated for its lush, opulent dark fruit profile—boasting cassis, blackcurrant, and boysenberry—layered with espresso, cloves, graphite, and toasted oak.

The 2022 Opus One is an elegant, balanced Napa Valley red blend, characterized by an early harvest, bright fruit, and intense aromatics, yielding a sophisticated profile despite a warm vintage. 7 Deadly Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied, Californian red wine known for its bold, jammy profile and notes of blackberry, vanilla, and mocha. Aged in French oak for roughly six months, it offers a smooth, rich mouthfeel with firm tannins, often featuring aromas of dark fruits, coffee, and spice.

Dalla Valle Collina is the "second wine" of the prestigious Dalla Valle Vineyards, offering a more approachable, early-drinking Napa Valley Bordeaux-style blend. Created from younger hillside estate vines (and sometimes purchased fruit), it typically features Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It is known for its vibrant red/black fruit flavors, silky tannins, and a 14.5% ABV, typically drinking well within 10–15 years of release.
