The Sovereign Port Dundas blended Scotch whisky is made using a combination of single malt whiskies from the closed Port Dundas distillery and other distilleries in Scotland. The exact composition of the blend is not disclosed, but it is known to have a light and floral character with a hint of sweetness and a smooth and balanced flavor profile.

Domaine Harmand -Geoffroy is a family owned winery dating back to the 19th century. The family owns 22ha of vineyards in the prestigious Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. The Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy Vieilles Vignes is the product of very old vines between 50-90 years. The result is one of the most powerful wines in the cellar that shows dark, almost somber fruit, a wine that is reticent in its youth and quite profound with seven to ten years of age. Medium-bodied, it's well-balanced with a big intense bouquet of black cherry, blueberries, wet earth, leather, violets, and a whiff of menthol.

La Bota de Gin 81 "Bota NO" is a complex and elegant gin, perfumed with a subtle sherry character. It has its origin in the finest distillate, London Dry Gin style, with marked citrus and juniper berries aromas, later aged for almost four years in a single cask previously used for ageing Fino from Jerez until it has been bottled at cask strength. The outcome is a symphony of aromas and flavours and a delicate palate that reminds of manzanilla pasada rather than spirits—an exceptional gin. We do not know any other one like this.

At the beginning of 2014, we selected several old casks that had previously been used for maturing sherry or brandy for over forty years to mature this magnificent gin. One was almost completely emptied for this edition of the "La Bota" series. It is, therefore, an exclusive product, which will last as long as it takes to sell out the few more than six hundred bottles that have come out of this single cask.

Hernö Navy Strength Gin, a bold flagship rich in flavour, is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Dry Gin, but diluted to 57% vol. instead of 40,5% vol. The difference in aroma and taste is very clear, and Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a richer flavour with bolder juniper, coriander and citrus.

Nose: Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a bold juniper character with fragrant citrus and fresh and peppery notes.

Finish: Spicy and peppery with mellow warmth. Long and lingering, yet smooth, finish.

Palate: Sappy with crisp juniper followed by spicy citrus and spring floral notes. A lot of flavours with a sippable texture and a little warmth.

This particular rum comes from a beautiful but previously used sherry butt in the same solera as our highly esteemed 2013 cask strength release. The distinction here is that it's a single cask bottling from a sherry butt that has been exclusively emptied for this release. Additionally, we have chosen to bottle it at a more moderate 44% alcohol content, rather than its original 50%.

Careful grape selection, ageing in French barrique and sure lie, gives these wines depth of character and rich and exotic textures. In the bottle you will find notes of blackberry, cassis, plum and violet wrapped up in spice, leather, and cedar. Decant for optimal experience or lay down for a few years. Stunning wine.

Dark yellow with a hint of amber. Quince, blackcurrants, tobacco notes in the nose. Peach and honey tones appear on the palate made smooth by the vintage. The sweetness of the residual sugar and crisp acids form a beautiful harmony in the wine. The notes from wood-barrel ageing nestle into the taste of the wine. Long finish and best accompanied with blue cheeses, goose liver and desserts.

This impressive Magnum bottle (1.5L) is home to a stunner of a Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by Master of Wine, James Cluer. Chateau Angelus in St. Emilion, Bordeaux's right bank has been in existence since 1782. Now operated by Stephanie de Bouard-Rivoal, who represents the 8th generation of the Bouard de Laforest family. Her goal is to ensure the Angelus name continues to represent excellence and timelessness. The Carillon d'Angelus is the second label of Chateau Angelus, this was first released from the 1987 vintage. This wine is a red blend of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and is highly appreciated for its purity of fruit, velvety tannins and elegant finish. The high content of merlot makes it drinkable earlier in life, but can be aged for the next 8-12 years.

The Le Clarence Haut-Brion is the 2nd wine of the first growth Chateau Haut-Brion. It was in 2007 that this wine was renamed Le Clarence Haut-Brion as a tribute to Clarence Dillon, who acquired the property in 1935. This blend of 73% Merlot, 16% Cabernet France and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon has fruity red fruits on the nose with a smooth, concentrated palate.This a charming, pleasant wine.

The 2020 L'Eglise Clinet is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The Merlot was picked between the 11th and the 14th of September, and the Cabernet Franc was picked on the 16th of September. It has an alcohol of 14.4% and is aging in French oak barrels, 80% new. Displaying and opaque purple-black color, it needs a bit of swirling to reveal a fascinating array of earthy notes —black truffles, charcoal, mossy tree bark and fallen leaves—over a profound core of preserved plums, blackberry preserves and violets, with a waft of tapenade. The medium to full-bodied palate has exquisitely ripe tannins and bold freshness supporting the seductively ripe, black fruit layers, finishing on a lingering fragrant earth note.

A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2020 Haut-Bailly was harvested from the 9th to 25th of September. It has an alcohol of 14.3%. Deep purple-black in colour, it prances out of the glass with naturally beautiful notions of fresh black cherries, violets, mulberries and boysenberries, giving way to hints of redcurrant jelly, star anise, tilled soil and menthol. The medium to full-bodied palate is delicately crafted with velvety/grainy tannins and fantastic freshness framing the perfumed red and black berry layers, finishing on a lingering fragrant-earth note.

Extremely floral with blackberry and blueberry character plus hints of violets. Full-bodied yet always in check and reserve with fine tannins and bright acidity that goes on for minutes. Limestone undertones. The finish is particularly long this vintage. Super Clerc. Try in 2021.

Clos Figueras is located in Gratallops, within the Priorat Qualified Designation of Origin. The property was purchased in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan. Clos Figueras owns an original estate of old Garnacha and Cariñena vineyards. In addition, other varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet and Viognier have been planted. The Clos Figueres wine is made of a blend of grenache and carignan from 80 year old vines.The nose shows lively red cherry and black fruit flavours with a touch of classy oak. Young and fresh with the classic mineral character of the Priorat. The palate is smooth and rich with great finesse, depth and class. Ageing potential for up to 20 years.

The palate is full-bodied and intense with persisten tannis that are sweet and velvety.

The single vineyard of San Francesco has a south-west facing exposure with 3000-3500 bottles produced per year, the nose has intense, fruity notes of ripe plum, black sour cherry and sweet spices. Winemaker Steve Doerner has been making wine for 37 years - 14 years at Calera in California and 23 years at Cristom in Oregon. Luke Jefferson is his new wine project with miniscule production, first released as 40 cases with the 2013 vintage and 120 cases in 2014. The wine is named as an homage to his 2-year-old son, Luke Jefferson Doerner, and is also a nod to Thomas Jefferson, whom Steve admires. Steve's spouse, Irene Steh-Doerner, is also part of the family project. The wine allows Steve to pursue making a wine that suits his personal vision and palate apart from the Cristom style. This Piont feature ripe red berry and cherry aromas with compliments of exotic spices, cola and a vein of smoky minerality

Etienne Julien presents a high-quality Nuits-Saint-Georges with his balanced 2019 vintage! The nose reveals black fruit lard notes, violets and undeniable minerals. Spices and slightly woody notes take over as it evolves. On the palate, it has a beautiful structure and drinkability despite everything. It has a potential to be kept for 10 years.

The roots of Domaine Parent date back to the 17th century. Currently the domaine is being run by the 12th generation - Anne Parent and her sister Catherine Fages-Parent. Anne is self-taught, following the lunar cycle and principles of biodynamics to express all the peculiarities of each plot. The small 1.3ha site of Les Croix Noires is located just south of Pommard village. Strong, yet elegant, this Pinot Noir is well-balanced in structure between wood/tannins and acidity.

Anne Parent and her sister Catherine are the 12th generation of the family running the Domaine. The Les Chaponnieres vineyard is 2.89ha lying south of the village of Pommard, above the Les Croix vineyard. The wines here have fleshy fruit, with aspicy nose, raspberry and cherry hints, together hints of licorice.

"The 2020 Aloxe-Corton Les Fournières 1er Cru is ripe and juicy on the nose: strawberry and raspberry, the oak here more pronounced compared to the Les Vercots. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, saturated tannins and again, here, I find the new oak more pronounced and perhaps just detracting a little from its delineation and mineralité on the finish. Yet once that is fully subsumed, this could turn into quite a substantial Aloxe-Corton." 89-91 pts, Neal Martin, Vinous

Roland Piollot and Dominique Moreau are Champagne Piollot, a family Estate in the Aube dating to the late 19th Century. The couple are also responsible for the Champagnes of Marie Courtin. Dominique’s family vineyards make Marie Courtin, Roland’s family vineyards make Champagne Piollot. Roland, fifth generation grower, was joined by his daughter Jeanne in 2018.
Although Pinot Meunier is widely planted in the Marne Valley, it is relatively rare in the Aube. Only a mere 6% of the Piollot family vineyards are planted to Pinot Meunier, but they decided to highlight this grape with the Mepetit vineyard in Polisot starting in 2015. Aging in oak barrels gives this wine a uniquely complex texture and profile that is not to be missed. The wine is aged on the lees for four years before release, and like all of the Champagnes from Piollot, it’s disgorged non-dosé.

Les Millandes premier Cru is an east facing sit and close to the GC of Clos de la Roche, growing 100% pinot noir. The soils are the same in both sites, resulting in similar wines. Les Millandes is always supple and seductive with dusty chocolate notes, along with the typical aromas of red berries, warm barking spices and earth. The tannins are structured, yet fine.

From vines planted in 1922, from a relatively low-lying vineyard towards the border with Volnay. Les Cras comes from the word ‘craie’ which translates as lime. Low yielding from a parcel of less than 0.5ha.
90-92 4 Stars Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy : "Old vines, around 80 years, with 50% whole bunch vinification. Deep dense concentrated purple. The bouquet is excellent, very deep, all about the fruit. Just a few strawberries but the raspberry dominates. Perhaps some deep red cherry too. Very complete on the palate, a little peppery crunch, well managed tannins and very good length." Tasted: October 2021

Friuli-Venezia Giulia is one of the smallest regions in Italy, yet also one of the mightiest. With a plethora of indigenous grape varieties not grown outside of the region, and even fewer producers that are embracing them, Zidarich is truly one of the best.

There are many “malvasia” named grapes within Italy, with some more quality than others. One of the best Malvasia grapes is Istriana, grown in the Friuli region as well as neighbouring Slovenia. Benjamin Zidarich practices biodynamic viticulture, picking grapes and bottling wine according to the phases of the moon. He will tell you that the grapes are grown by the sun and the earth, and the wine is grown by the moon.  The nose has notes of white peaches, oriental mixed spices, mineral, and stony notes. Maceration on the skins will give the wine slight tannins that overlay crunchy stone fruits, savoury herbs, and crushed stony minerality. 

This wine is from a contiguous parcel that sits astride the Clos Prieur du Haut (classified 1er Cru) and the Clos Prieur du Bas (classified as a village wine); rather than create two tiny cuvées, the domaine prefers to blend the two to make an extra-fine village wine from the lieu-dit “Clos Prieur”. Harmand-Geoffroy owns a bit less than a half-hectare of vineyards in Clos Prieur and the vines therein were planted between 50 and 85 years ago. In our opinion, this is one of the finest village wines available from Gevrey; it is elegant yet powerful with a compelling density and ripe, sweet tannins.

It's dark and vibrant on the palate, with perfect ripeness of tannins and an amazingly refreshing finish.
