A blend of cabernet sauvignon fruit from select vineyards across Napa Valley, this deep ruby wine opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, black peppercorn, and toasted sage. Rich, dark fruits are densely layered on the palate, balanced by a graphite backbone and beautifully integrated tannins leading to a persistent finish.

The nose of this wine needs some air in order to wake up but soon notions of ripe Amalfi lemon and butter rise from the glass. On the palate, freshness takes center stage, with a playful, concentated finesse that dances across the tongue. The wine is wonderfully sprightly and refreshing, with unforced resonance. Coil Signal Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is a fine example of the elegance and complexity that the Mendocino Ridge AVA can impart to this noble grape. This wine likely showcases the characteristic bright acidity and red fruit flavors of Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry, raspberry, and perhaps a hint of cranberry, complemented by nuances of earth, spice, and a delicate floral note, possibly violet or rose. Aged in oak, it might offer subtle hints of vanilla and toast that enrich the wine's profile without overpowering the delicate fruit. The high elevation of the Signal Ridge Vineyard contributes to a pronounced minerality and finesse in the wine, leading to a long, refined finish. 

Strong ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fresh blackberries, wild blackberries, some leather and herbs, delicately underlaid with liquorice. Juicy, elegant, fine roasted caramel and sweet cherries, nougat on the finish, good freshness, shows length and ageing potential.
