Diaoyutai State Guest Liquor (钓鱼台国宾酒) is a prestigious premium baijiu produced in the core brewing region of Maotai Town, Guizhou. The Gordon & MacPhail Discovery Glen Grant 11 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, part of G&M's colour-coded 'Bourbon' range. 818 Tequila Añejo is a premium, amber-hued spirit produced in Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% blue agave. Anne-Sophie Dubois is part of a young generation of vignerons redefining the identity of Beaujolais. Born and raised in Champagne, she caught the wine bug early and spent her formative years learning the ropes in Burgundy. Even though she only works with one grape variety, the three vineyards she gets her fruit from couldn't be more different. The Les Labourons vineyard is described as complex and dense with very bottles produced. Ageable, so this 3L will mellow over time.

Domaine Louis Cheze is a family winery located in the town of Limony in the northern part of the Saint Joseph AOC. This cuvée has been made since the 1990 vintage. Roussanne is grown on the hillsides and the Marsanne on the plateau. The plot is close to the property on the heights of Limony. The nose has acacia aromas and hawthorn to honeyed notes. The palate has an unctuous mouth feel with more of the flavour of acacia and honey along with toasted, nutty notes.

This family estate was established during the 19th century and today more than half of the vineyard is more than 40 years old. Piollot Champagnes carries on old Champagne traditions, now bringing in organic and biodynamic viticulture to amplify the authenticity of their Champagnes. One doesn't see Champagne made from 100% Pinot Blanc, but that is what makes this Champagne completely unique. This Champagne has zero dosage and 5 years on the lees. On the nose, gourmet aromas of mirabelle plum, mint, guava and lily flowers, all enveloped in musky flavours with a palate that is lively and powerful yet with a fine and pleasant bubble.

This is the signature wine of the Vineyard and embodies the complexity and uniqueness of the site. The Vineyard sits on a volcanic flow site with the red volcanic soils mixed with black obsidian that , along with the mountain climate, create an unforgettable wine of intense color, aroma and flavour with the mineral vein running through it.

The 2020 Masseto now sees new DNA with a touch of Cabernet Franc added to this celebrated Merlot-based icon wine. This is a vintage of enormous richness and density, and everything about the wine is taken up a notch or two (including the bottle glass weight and the 15% alcohol content). But Axel Heinz and his team are well prepared for the hot vintages like 2020, and changes to farming and canopy management ensure even ripening. This wine is always hard to analyze in its youth. It needs many more years to soften and flesh out. Give it time.

Beautiful garnet colour. Aromatic, with sophisticated notes of spice. Some extracts of red fruit such as blackcurrant or cherry on floral notes of violet. On the palate, the attack is fresh and mineral with aromas of a well-balanced fruit. The wine is vibrant.

To the north of the Côte de Beaune, the Montagne de Corton brings together the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny. The vineyards lie between 250 and 330 meters above sea level, forming an amphitheatre unlike any other on the Côte. Corton Grand Cru is produced mainly in red over 90 ha, and may bear the name of its climat, of which there are 25, such as Les Perrieres, Les Combes, Clos des Meix, Les Bressandes, Le Rognet, Les Renardes, Le Clos du Roi, etc.

The vineyard of Vosne-Romanée covers about 240 ha on Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Echezeaux. The village of Vosne-Romanée, situated at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, is comprised of six fabulous Grands Crus such as Romanée-Conti, Tâche, Richebourg… whereas its neighbor, Flagey-Echezeaux, shelters Echezeaux and Grands-Echezeaux. The production of Grands Crus represents ¼ of the vineyard. Les Echezeaux itself covers only 34.8 hectares, at an altitude varying between 230 and 300 meters above sea level, with a rather complex mixture of soils: limestone, red silt, marl…

Clos de Vougeot is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits between Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée. It represents an area of 49.86 ha, at an altitude varying between 240 and 255 meters above sea level. Founded in 1110 by the Abbaye of Citeaux, Clos de Vougeot is the ideal image of Burgundy, rich with a terroir worthy of art. The village of Vougeot also has 4 climates of 1ers Crus on an area of 12.5 ha, including 3 ha of white wines: Les Cras, La Vigne Blanche, Les Petits Vougeot, and Clos de la Perrière.

Bright wine with a beautiful deep garnet color and several purple highlights. Good aromatic intensity, the nose is fine and fresh. It opens on aromas of violet and red berries which make up a bouquet of typical expression. Well delineated on the palate and well rounded, highly concentrated. The length is accompanied by soft tannins.

Château de la Tour is one of the prestigious producers in the area, focusing on producing exceptional wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Chateau de la Tour Clos Vougeot Grand Cru is known for its elegance, complexity, and finesse. The wine typically exhibits flavors of red and black fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, with notes of spices, earth, and sometimes floral undertones. It often has a medium to full body, well-integrated tannins, and a long, lingering finish.

This wine is from a contiguous parcel that sits astride the Clos Prieur du Haut (classified 1er Cru) and the Clos Prieur du Bas (classified as a village wine); rather than create two tiny cuvées, the domaine prefers to blend the two to make an extra-fine village wine from the lieu-dit “Clos Prieur”. Harmand-Geoffroy owns a bit less than a half-hectare of vineyards in Clos Prieur and the vines therein were planted between 50 and 85 years ago. In our opinion, this is one of the finest village wines available from Gevrey; it is elegant yet powerful with a compelling density and ripe, sweet tannins.

The vineyards of Michel Mallard located in Ladoix-Serrigny at the foot of Corton Hill in the Cotes de Beaune encompass all levels of vineyard quality: Villages, Premier Cru Grand Cru. Wines from the Grand Cru of Marechaude are typically full-bodied and robust due to the heavy clay soils found in this marshy area of Corton (Maresche means swamp in old French). The Mallard has a bouquet of blackberry, licorice, cloves and hints of minerality on the elegant, tannic palate. Like the Le Rognet, it can be aged for many years.

The vineyards of Michel Mallard located in Ladoix-Serrigny at the foot of Corton Hill in the Cotes de Beaune encompass all levels of vineyard quality: Villages, Premier Cru Grand Cru. From the name that literally means "vixens" (Renardes), the name is appropriate as this Grand Cru with its iron rich soils that reputedly impart the rich, gamey character of these Pinot Noir. Along with the animal subtleties, expect to find blueberry, red currant, licorice and hints of black pepper on a ricy and racy palate.
