From the coolest part of the state as the weather rolls in off the Southern Ocean. The latest block to be brought to the winery, this is an elegant wine with a unique aromatic profile and tannin structure. A recent grape source from a vineyard next to Hope Forest, this is a site we harvest late, allowing slow development of ripeness and tannin. The moderating effect of the southern ocean in conjunction with the site's elevation provides finer red fruit characteristics. The wine is named after Michael's daughter, Harriet whose favourite colour is pink.

from the famed Valdicava winery, this single vineyard wine is only produced in the most excellent vintages. 2007 was a stellar year with perfect conditions for ripening of the Sangiovese grape. Beautifully knit together, this wine has deep, concentrated notes of blueberries and blackberries, leather, and tobacco. Deeply textured, yet with smooth tannins, and layers and layers of flavour. This will undoubtedly just get better in the bottle. If drinking now, decant or hold until 2030-2035.

Duval delivers a wine that echoes the warmth of the vintage without losing the character of place. Rich, complex and heady aromas of blueberry, blackberry and plum cascade from the glass, followed by dried mint, bay leaves and charred cedar. A left-bank Bordeaux blend that comprises 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot, this Cabernet-dominant blend could be placed from the Washington Rocks area in a blind tasting fairly easily. It is terroir-driven, expressive on the nose, gorgeous on the palate and downright delicious. Let's start with the nose - imagine aromas of black plum, wild black currant, unsweetened chocolate, espresso powder, sweet toasted cinnamon and just a touch of cedar bark.

Domaine Jacques Prieur has the rare claim to fame of owning property in some the greatest appellations in Burgundy including Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Echézeaux, Corton, Meursault and Montrachet. Not many Domaines can boast that. History of the Domaine dates to 1868. Owned now by the Labruyère Family, supported by Prieur Family's heirs, they passionately promote and defend the great terroirs of Burgundy worldwide. The Beaune Greves Premier Cru sits on 1.17ha overlooking the city of Beaune. This 100% pinot noir offers notes of fresh red berries, evolving into cherry pit and spicy vanilla notes. Elegant, fresh, and fruity, the wine has balanced tannins and acidity with a smooth finish.

Take Ancestor Vines (planted in 1894), a great vintage, experienced winemaking. Add 30 months of aging in American and French oak, resulting in the stunning 2018 Command Single Vineyard Shiraz. Boasting fabulous density and concentration, this full-bodied effort is still almost embryonic in its development, with tarry, mocha, yet lifted notes accenting intense blackberry fruit; a rich, supple yet structured mouthfeel, and a long, mouthwatering finish. Once it hits its stride in a few years, it should drink well for 20 years or more.

"White spring flower and white stone fruit aromas lead the nose. On the tangy, refreshing palate, bright acidity accompanies green apple, white peach and a hint of lemon drop before closing on a hazelnut note. Kerin O'Keefe."

The Vinum Cellars Red Dirt Red begins with a pleasing aroma of red cherry, cranberry and baking spice. The wine tastes of plum and cherry and features lots of earthy, meaty and mineral notes along with touches of balsamic and black olive plus more baking spice. Smoky, almost mesquite like notes lead into the long dry finish. With plenty of complexity and lots of layers to discover, this is an excellent choice. The addition of Petite Sirah (which actually originated in the Rhone but isn't grown there today) works quite well with the GSM.

Ripe mulberry and fresh raspberry flavours upfront followed by seamless soft oak nuances. Good follow-through of the fruit flavours onto the palate, complemented by soft tannins and a long, smooth finish.

Intense bouquet of fruit and flowers combined with a delicate mineral hint. Rich and subtil wine with good crisp, which makes it very balanced. Good ageing potential.

After being aired, this wine offers a perfect balance between mineral freshness and very ripe fruit. The palate is warm, mouthwatering and saline, with a spicy cinnamon finish.

Rock Angel has a more complex and structured taste profile than Whispering Angel bringing it into a more premium realm, giving rosé lovers a bigger and richer wine. If you like the minerality of a Sancerre, you will love this wine.

Domaine Elodie Roy is a small, family-owned winery known for producing elegant and expressive Burgundy wines with a focus on sustainable practices in the vineyard and winery. Elodie is a rising star in Burgundy; the trend of young, female winemakers carving their way into the history books. The Santenay 1er Cru 'Les Gravières' 2020 is 100% Pinot Noir from the one of the most well-known premier cru in Santenay. Wine from here will have rich flavours and high acidity. Elodie's Pinot Noir has aromas of plum, cassis, chocolate and spice. The palate is fleshy and full-bodied with concentrated fruit, smooth tannins and a lengthy finish.

The nose is spicier than that of Pommard, with notes of cloves and peppers that intertwine with nuances of wild berries. The fruit emerges gradually from aeration. The flavour corresponds to the aromas: the wine is nicely full-bodied, with a grain of crunchy tannin and a frank vitality, it is the energy of Volnay that speaks and the wine is both built and lifted: molto vivace, as the musicians - it will give the right tempo to the best roast poultry.

Jacob's Creek Double Barrel Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Jacob's Creek winery in South Australia. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that are carefully selected and harvested by hand.

The wine is aged using a unique "double barrel" technique, which involves maturing the wine in French oak barrels, and then finishing it in specially selected, toasted American oak barrels. This process imparts complex flavors and aromas to the wine, including notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice.

On the nose, there are notes of citrus and stone fruit aromas, with hints of toasted oak and vanilla. Stretching south beyond Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Corvées is situated in an area that is relatively flat with rich soils. This gives a taste of the finesse of the premiers crus which border its southern extremity. A deep garnet appearance with mauve highlights, producing a dark veneer in the glass. Purple tones with ruby glints, reminiscent of glorious years.

Château des Quarts was created in 2012 through a joint partnership between two old friends, Dominique Lafon and Olivier Merlin.

For over a decade, Olivier had tasked himself with sourcing and making wine from the best sites within Pouilly-Fuissé and bottling them under his own label. After buying grapes from Clos des Quarts for several vintages, he was first approached with the news that it was for sale. Having been already convinced of the terroir's integrity he jumped on the opportunity.

The vineyard is located in Chaintré, the southernmost village of Pouilly-Fuissé. At just over 2 hectares, the oldest vines are almost a century old and are planted on clay-limestone soils.

Sparkly red currant tones give pause while admiring this wine in the glass. Fruit-packed, it exhibits the best characteristics of a young Sancerre Rosé, with raspberry and wild peach aromas. Complete and round in the mouth, it opens up gradually, with a fresh liveliness being tempered by a hint of tannins. It finishes on fruity notes (black currant, raspberry) with a long, pretty aftertaste of citrus fruits.

Proprieta Sperino Rosé is a crisp and refreshing wine that showcases the unique terroir of the Piedmont region. Located in Savigny-les-Beaune, this climat of Les Serpentières is located under Roichottes with 1 ha on a south-facing exposure. It was formerly called "Les serpentines" after the name of a species of snake that could often be seen in the summer on the hot and stony Burgundy lands. Made with 100% Pinot Noir, the wine has a complex bouquet of dark fruit, including black cherry, blackberry, and plum, with hints of earth, spice, and leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with rich flavors of black fruit with a backbone of firm tannins with a long, lingering finish.

Vinho Oscar Quevedolda's wine is a combination of two Portuguese grapes, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. Its color is a vibrant cherry-ruby hue, exuding the liveliness of youth. Barbacan Sforzato 2018 is a red wine from the Valtellina subregion of Lombardy, Italy. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes (known locally as Chiavennasca), the wine undergoes a unique drying process for several months prior to fermentation, resulting in a concentrated and complex flavor profile. It has a deep garnet color and a complex aroma with notes of dark fruit, such as black cherry and blackberry, along with hints of spices and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of dark fruit, leather, and earth, and a long and persistent finish. The wine is typically paired with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.

The Colpetrone Antica Chiusina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a full-bodied red wine that offers intense aromas of dark fruit, leather, and spice. Arpepe Sassella Stella Retica  is a red wine with a ruby red color. It has a complex aroma with notes of red fruit, such as cherries and raspberries, and hints of spices, such as cloves and cinnamon. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a good structure and balance, and firm tannins. The wine has flavors of red fruit, with a hint of earthiness, and a long and persistent finish. It is a perfect match for roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Danimi Votiva Campi Taurasini DOC is a red wine produced by Danimi winery in the Campania region of Italy. A Votiva is an offering to the gods. The figurine depicted on the bottles of Votiva are inspired by similar objects found in the heart of Irpinia where the ancients worshipped the Goddess Mefite and made offerings to appease her. This is the 'cru' line that represents the strength of the Irpinian territory and identity. Made from 100% Aglianico, the wine is a complex mix of floral and fruity notes such as violets and wild red berries along with spicy notes that recall scent of tobacco and leather. The mouthfeel is intense and concentrated, full-bodied with velvety tannins.
