ZANIN PISTACCHIO LIQUORE is a sweet, creamy, and nutty Italian liqueur with an intense flavor of pistachios, crafted by Distilleria Zanin 1895. It is made with real pistachios, giving it a vibrant green color and a velvety texture. With an alcohol content of \(17\%\) ABV, it can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or used in cocktails and desserts, such as drizzled over ice cream or added to coffee drinks. 

Bottega Pesca Grappa is an Italian liqueur (16%) that blends the essence of ripe peaches with grappa. It offers a smooth and fruity profile with a distinct grappa character. The tasting notes highlight a fruity aroma of ripe peaches, often with subtle floral or almond hints. The taste is described as soft and full-bodied with a natural sweetness from the peaches, sometimes with honey tones and a hint of spiciness. The finish is long and elegant, with the peach flavors lingering and a gentle warmth from the grappa.

Since 1694, Benanti is synonymous with quality and represents a profound respect for Etna and the wine in produces. Grapes grown on the slope from north to southwest are at altitudes of 450-1050 meters above sea level. Benanti is the only winery that has vineyards located on every slope of the DOC Etna. The Dafara Galluzza vineyard is located on the prestigious north slope of Etna, at 750 metres asl, it is extremely suited to growing Nerello Mascalese. The nose is fine, heady, spicy, with measures of red fruit. The palate is chewy and intense, yet vibrant and surprisingly light on its feet. Sour cherry mingles with wood, chocolate and earth, then a lingering spicy finish.

Rooted in the rich heritage of Puglia, the Pajaru estate celebrates the figure of the shepherd, or "Picuraru" in dialect, symbolizing the slow, seasonal, and steadfast labor paralleled in the meticulous care of vineyards to forge exceptional wines. Inspired by the shepherds' resilience and dedication, Primitivo "PICURARU" was born—a majestic deep ruby red wine that unfurls intense aromas of ripe red fruit on the nose, transforming into layered notes of plum, cocoa, leather, and black pepper on the palate. Warm, persistent, and notably tannic, PICURARU matures beautifully, gaining expression over a couple of years. It pairs splendidly with rich legume soups accented with bacon, robust pasta with meat sauce, and aged cheeses, making it a versatile choice for a variety of culinary delights.

From the Bolgheri DOC, the Poggio Al Tesoro is owned by the Allegrini family of Valpolicella fame. Named after the Seggio river that crosses the vineyard, it is a blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. The nose exhibits lovely fresh, crunchy fruit, enriched with mineral and spicy notes. The palate is medium bodied with hints of red berries and elegant silky tannins. A great wine for the price point!

Chiaretto is the term used for rosati crafted by the shores of Lake Garda. The Gorgo winery practices oraganic winemaking and this fresh and vibrant wine made from the Valpolicella grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry and peach. The palate has high acidity balanced nicely with the small red berries, red apples and peaches.

With about 19 different Lambrusco names in the family, one of the most common is Salomino. This wine is made from Lambrusco Salomino for the tannins, roundess and black fruit it also has a touch of Sorbara, for freshness and acidity. A perfect pairing with parmigiano cheese drizzled with Balsamic vinegar, Tagliatelle with Bolognese or Gnoccho Fritto, the local dish of deep fried bread with prosciutto.

Located in Calabria, the toe of Italy's boot, Cirò is the only DOC of the region for red wines, it is made from 100% Gaglioppo. Juicy and vibrant, it exudes aromas of small red berries, citrus zest, and earthy underbrush notes with a hint of minerality. Ready to drink and enjoy with your barbecued burgers this summer!

Nebbiolo is known as Chiavennascain Lombardia and it is so elegant, perfumey, and graceful, you might not want to go back to drinking Barolo! ArPePe is an iconic producer in this region and their Grumello is a subzone of the quality Valtellina region. At 10 years old, this wine is gorgeous. 

Tenuta Scuotto's Greco di Tufo DOCG is a crisp and refreshing white wine with a bright straw yellow colour. The nose is intense and floral, with notes of white peach, yellow apple, and acacia flowers. It is fresh and lively on the palate, with a mineral backbone and ripe stone fruit and citrus flavours. The wine is well-structured with a balanced acidity, making it an excellent pairing for seafood dishes, grilled vegetables, and light pasta dishes. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a short maceration period to preserve the wine's delicate aromas and flavours. Overall, this Greco di Tufo represents the Campania region's unique terroir and winemaking traditions.

Tralcetto' translates as 'twig,' hence the stick-y vine cutting affixed to the bottle. The wine itself is made from 100% Pinot Grigio harvested by hand and aged in stainless steel to preserve the delicate aromatics. Baglio di Pianetto ViaFrancia Rosato is an organic, high-altitude Sicilian rosé (Terre Siciliane IGT) made from 100% Syrah, offering a pale coral pink color. It is known for its intense aromatic profile of red berries, pomegranate, and citrus notes, paired with high freshness, a marked mineral edge, and a savory, persistent finish.

The Assuli Fiordiligi Grillo Bio is a Sicilian white wine, made from 100% Grillo grapes, offering a fresh, elegant profile with citrus and tropical fruit notes, and a harmonious blend of salinity and minerality.

The nose begins with earthy, stony, and slightly dusty notes, followed by a tart, astringent fruitiness with sugary hints of vanilla and cola. The fruit sweetens on the palate, yet the initial earthy minerality persists, enhanced by the tannins and acidity.

Nebbiolo is not known for making sparkling wine, but it has all the characteristics to make it into a great sparkling. This is 100% Nebbiolo in a delicate shade of pink with a nose of strawberries, and small red berries with cream on a brioche bun. Delicate perlage and bright acidity on the palate along with juicy red berries and hints of orange zest make this a pleasant bubbly.

The project by the Cusomano brothers was founded in 2013, after years of producing wine under the Cusomano name in other parts of Sicily, the opportunity arose to acquire the first three contrade , or single vineyard sites on the northern slopes of Mt. Etna. These single vineyard sites gave birth to the name Alta Mora, which exemplified the stunning beauty of these sites.  Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, one of the native red grapes grown on the mountain, the grapes are sourced from four different contrade.  This is a vibrant wine with spicy pepper aromas and flavours of black currant, mountain herbs and the ever-present minerality evident from volcanic soul. The acidity is high yet balanced with well integrated tannins.

Cinzano Bianco is a classic, 15% ABV Italian aromatized white wine known for its light yellow color, sweet taste, and delicate herbal, citrus, and vanilla aroma. Developed from an original 1757 recipe, it features notes of white peach, cinnamon, and fresh thyme, providing a versatile,, slightly spicy, and floral profile.

Rich ruby red. Spicy, vivid and inviting nose of rich cassis fruit and ripe cherry with Mediterranean herbs in the background. Pithy and juicy on the palate, mouth-filling with clear fruit and long, precise finish.

Bisci is synonymous with Verdicchio, being crafted in the mountain area of Matelica and staying true to the terroir giving wines that are more austere and higher in acidity. This is a great wine of typicity with a nose full of green and yellow apple, Anjou pear, yellow flowers, even hints of pineapple but still with the mineral nuances, and even a flinty petrol. On the palate that lees ageing was evident as it was very textural and almost tannic, which lends itself to a full bodied wine. More flavours of yellow apple and pear, great minerality and of course, bitter almond. If one is looking to try Verdicchio for the first time, this is a good place to start!

Mastroberardino is definitely one of the founding fathers of winemaking in Campania, and put grapes like Fiano and Aglianico on the world wine map. Also from the quality region of Taurasi, the Historia is made from grapevines that are over 50 years old. Complex, broad, intense and persistent, it is full of violet, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate and vanilla with hints of earthy mushroom notes. Great structure, yet soft tannins in perfect balance. An absolutely stunning wine that will age for 50 years and beyond at a fraction of the price of Barolo! Collectors should always add aglianico to their cellar portfolio.

Exclusive to CLS, we don't often see Nebbiolo done in rose form, but the brother and sister team at Antoniolo of Lorella (whom this wine is named after)and Alberto have created this gorgeous rosato that is intense and fragrant with juicy red raspberries and violets. Initial mouth feel is soft but the acidity is high with a subtle spicy kick. Slight tannins and medium alcohol all rolled into a perfectly balanced wine. Only 50 more bottles left in the province, and they are here at CLS, so be sure to get your hands on one (or three, or...)

Aged for a minimum of five years, the Padelletti Brunello di Montalcino Reserva is a premium red wine that is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the Montalcino region of Tuscany, Italy. This wine is characterized by its deep ruby color, intense aromas of dark fruit, leather, and spice, and its full-bodied, complex flavor profile that is marked by notes of black cherry, tobacco, and vanilla. The wine is aged in oak barrels for three years, followed by two years of bottle aging, which gives it a smooth, velvety texture and a long, lingering finish. Located in Montalcino, these Super-Tuscan wines from Luce (Light) are named for the altitude and southern exposure of their vineyards. Cool, breezy nights preserve the aromatic complexities of the grape and make for slow, even ripening. The Lucente is made primarily from Merlot with the addition of Sangiovese. Intense and bright red, the nose opens with intense fruity hints of blackberry, plum and currant, enriched by toasted and vanilla nuances. On the palate it is full and enveloping, soft and elegant, with a persistent finish that displays a pleasantly sweet and fruity aftertaste.

The Cogno family has been making wine for four generations in Piedmont. Located in Novello (one of the 11 communes in which Barolo can be made), it is now being run by Elvio's daughter Nadia and her husband Valter Fissore, the current winemaker. Ravera is a powerful Nebbiolo that has enticing scents of rose, tobacco and perfumed berry, along with a palate of violet, raspberry compote, star anise and wild mint. he finish is complex with some spice notes. This wine will no doubt become better with age. 

Roeno Pinot Grigio Tera Alta is a white wine produced by the Roeno winery located in the Vallagarina Valley of Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grape variety, which is grown on the winery's estate vineyards.

This is a red wine from the Tuscany region of Italy. The wine is made primarily from the Sangiovese grape variety, which is the traditional grape of Chianti. The Gran Selezione designation is the highest level for Chianti wines, indicating that the wine has been made from the best grapes grown on the estate and aged for a minimum of 30 months. It is expected to have a complex bouquet with a rich and elegant taste with intense and persistent aroma, with notes of red fruits, cherry, plum, and spices. It pairs well with red meats, game, and mature cheeses.
