The Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru La Toppe au Vert presents vivid red cherries and black plums on the nose, displaying focus alongside refinement and poise. With time in the glass, blue fruits emerge, adding depth to the aroma profile. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine tannins, initially displaying a subtle ferrous character. There's a fine grip in the mouth, with chalky tannins on the finish that provide a long and satisfying conclusion.

In our winemaking philosophy, akin to a quatrain's harmony in verse, four harmonious grapes converge. Fermented in small French oak fermenters and aged in French oak barrels, each component contributes to the wine's elegance and purpose, with Syrah lending depth and character to the blend.

Named after the Roman emperor who restored vine planting in France, this wine has structure and a dense texture. It is balanced with a good freshness to it and a poise in its step.

The nose is a light lunch on a rocky beach, where the dusty stones contrast with the sanguinity of bresaola and the richness of sweet chili jam. The jam spreads onto the palate, but the meatiness doesn't go anywhere either, before a crackle of black pepper sets up a lingering finish.

This Sangiovese wine brings out the grape's most profound spectrum of aromas. The selection process begins directly in the vineyard, where only the finest bunches are chosen. These are then subjected to an extended drying process and meticulous vinification, resulting in a Sangiovese that is rich, bold, and brimming with flavors.

Miner’s Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach Vineyard is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc that spent 21 months in 60% new French oak without being overly impacted by the wood. Scents of crushed stone, pencil shavings, cherries and sage mark the nose of this full-bodied effort, which comes across as tannic and even a bit rugged

The family owns 18 hectares between La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, including 4 Barolo Cru's: R56 (Brandini), Annunziata, Meriame and Cerretta. This Barolo is elegant and refined with notes of red fruit, floral notes and even a hint of mint. Being from La Morra makes it approachable even now. Gorgeous

The nose displays plenty of menthol, blackberry and blackcurrant aromas. On palate, this medium-bodied wine is fresh and ripe with a long, clean, mineral and herbal finish. An incredibly food-flexible wine!

" The 2013 L'Eglise Clinet has a very precise, tightly wound bouquet with limestone-tinged, brambly red berry fruit, the Merlot still very expressive and imparting comely floral scents. There is something almost Burgundy-like about the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin surrounding a core of citrus-fresh, lively red fruit, silky smooth in texture, approachable in style, with an almost symmetrical finish. As always Lascombes is done in a style that brings out the more lush, flamboyant side of Margaux. In this vintage, all the elements meld together effortlessly, something that isn't always the case. Cabernet Franc Blend, Intense red and violet reflections with a pleasant perfume and clear aromas of blackberry and raspberry. A wine of great personality, balanced, full, decisive and particularly full-bodied.

Luigi Bosca De Sangre Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby-coloured red wine that stands out for its aromas of excellent varietal typicity. Black fruit and peppery notes are perfectly balanced with roasted hues resulting from its aging in barrels.

It is compact, tense, markedly structured and full-bodied in the palate, with fine and ripe tannins and balanced acidity that provides great smoothness and a persistent and elegant finish.

Chateau Montrose is a 2nd growth in the Saint Estephe appellation of the left bank of Bordeaux. The location itself is exceptional, facing the Gironde Estuary which means the 95ha vineyard benefits from the moderating influence of this body of water during hot summers and harsh winters. This red blend is 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot and scored over 95 by many of the critics. All typical Medoc aromas and flavours of blackcurrant, licorice, pencil lead, crushed stones, warm spices and violets. Balanced and impressive, give this a decade before opening and age for the next 30+ years.

DOMAINE TORTOCHOT GEVREY 1ER CRU CHAMPEAUX exhibits complexity married perfectly with elegance, the wine is full-bodied and this comes very much to the fore. There is a fruitiness together with touches of flowers - roses and wallflower. This wine may be kept and be allowed to mature for some years.

This is a red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. Made from Nebbiolo, this wine has an intense nose with aromas of rose, dried fruit and blackberry, with notes of spice, mint, cardamom and minerals, a firm structure, a rich mouthfeel, firm tannins and a long, lingering finish.

This wine has a tightly-knit tannic texture and a beautiful, long,aromatic aftertaste. It is fruity, spicy and oaky (the oakiness is normal at this early stage).2012 Quintus starts out quite smooth on the palate, going on to showripe fruit and a freshness that might be referred to as mineral which is very typical of the terroir.

Mature plum, vanilla, toast and toasted oak sensations lead the nose. The palate opens with juicy black cherry and plum layered with coffee, dense chocolate and bitter espresso that slightly diminish the impact of its Nebbiolo pedigree and purity. Raphet Burgundy is handmade from field to bottle, with a rhythm and method that hasn't changed in more than four generations. Pinot Noir vines at the estate are on average very old, with many surpassing 100 years. Raphet wines are a Burgundy lover's Burgundy. While the wine's colour in the glass is a delicate ruby, aromas and flavours surprise with their forceful intensity. This contrast often catches the uninitiated off guard, yet it is part of the seduction of these limited and highly sought-after wines.

This is a premium red wine that is well-suited for aging. It has a deep garnet red color and is made from grapes harvested in the hilly region of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. The wine is then fermented using the marc of classic Recioto and Amarone. The wine has a distinct aroma of plum and cooked marasca cherry, which stands out in its complex bouquet. The wine has a full robust body and a perfect balance of flavors.

Michel Mallard Le Rognet is a Grand Cru vineyard located in Ladoix-Serrigny on a small plot of 1.27 ha growing Pinot Noir vines that are between 45-55 years old. The vineyard is known for producing wines with complex flavors and aromas. The 2012 vintage of Michel Mallard Corton GC Le Rognet is generally considered to be a good year for Burgundy wines, with favorable weather conditions leading to a high-quality harvest. The wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately 18 months, which adds depth and complexity to its flavors.This 100% Pinot noir has aromas of violets, blackberries, pepper spice, and licorice. Full-bodied and rich, the palate is dense, yet velvety. This wine can age for an impressively long time.

Les Charmots is a lieu-dit in the north of the village of Pommard. The soils are clay and limestone-based and add a structure to this bolder red Burgundy. The vines have an average age of 100 years and the wines from here are among some of the best in Pommard. This 100% Pinot is expressive and charming with red berry spice notes.

The Premier Cru of Les Epenots is one of Pommard's best known names, referring to thethree climats of Les Grands Epenots, Les Petits Epenot and Clos des Epeneaux. These wines can be labelled under these individual names or as "Epenots". All vineyards are planted to Pinot Noir and are considered some of the best -rich and structured with spicy, earthy overtones and considerable elegance. The Parent Les Epenotsis 100% Pinot Noir and very expressive and complex with violet and red fruit aromas of cherry raspberry. The mouth is fleshy and concentrated, and the tannins are fine, velvety, and elegant.

Intense ruby color with brownish nuances. In the aroma, there are balsamic notes, floral fragrances and notes of wild, well-ripe red fruits. It has round tannins, firm and full of fruit, finishing with elegance and persistence.

For six generations, Domaine Noellat has been farming their 20ha of land. With entreprenurial spirit, the family was always looking to adapt to new technologies, while respecting the traditions handed down from one generation to another. The cellar was built in 1980 while in 2007 an ultra modern winery was erected with state of the art stainless tanks and a dedicated tasting space in the cellar. Cousins Sebastien and Sophie work closely together making strategic decisions based on the nature of each harvest. Echezeaux is considered to be one of the premium wine-growing regions of Burgundy. The 0.80ha site perhaps used to be home to Gallo-Roman ruins, and the vines now grown there have an average age of 70 years. The bouquet of this 100% Pinot noir is rich and exotic with a rich texture, fleshy tannins and a touch of black pepper and spice on the finish.

Smooth and fruity reds are medium-bodied or full-bodied wines that often have a trace of sweetness. Soft fruitiness is a typical characteristic of these wines. You can discern notes of ripe or dried fruits and delicate spiciness in these wines. With low or medium tannins, they are also suitable for those with a sensitive mouth. Try with sweet-and-sour pork stew, Thai chicken curry or spicy sausages, such as chorizo or salami.

The Groffier family is a longstanding name in the Cotes du Nuit. Their family can be dated back to the 1800's, but it was grandfather Robert who started bottling wines at the Domaine. Two generations later, Nicholas Groffier has taken over elevating the wines to an unprecented level yet still maintaining the traditions learned from both his father and grandfather. Although their cellars are located in Morey-St.-Denis, they own no vineyards there, rather 0.8ha in other appellations, most notably Bonnes Mares, and one full hectare in the Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses, making them the largest land owner of the area. This 100% pinot noir is a muscular wine with black cherry and blackberry aromas. The palate is full-bodied with a serious tannic grip around the iron, tobacco and earthy notes. This has great ageability on it, put this one away to let it mellow.

A discreet but appealing red wine, with firm tannins that already shows a great potential. The only Cote de Beaune appellation of the domaine.

The Tollot-Beaut family is a based at Chorey-Les-Beaune with vineyards located in Beaune, Savigny, Aloxe-Corton and a small holding in Corton Charlemagne. This 100% Pinot Noir has ripe black cherry, black currant, violet and mineral notes. The palate is dense, yet elegant with ripe fruit and fine tannins. A consistently underrated site from a wonderful domaine.
