Les Charmots is a lieu-dit in the north of the village of Pommard. The soils are clay and limestone-based and add a structure to this bolder red Burgundy. The vines have an average age of 100 years and the wines from here are among some of the best in Pommard. This 100% Pinot is expressive and charming with red berry spice notes.

For six generations, Domaine Noellat has been farming their 20ha of land. With entreprenurial spirit, the family was always looking to adapt to new technologies, while respecting the traditions handed down from one generation to another. The cellar was built in 1980 while in 2007 an ultra modern winery was erected with state of the art stainless tanks and a dedicated tasting space in the cellar. Cousins Sebastien and Sophie work closely together making strategic decisions based on the nature of each harvest. Echezeaux is considered to be one of the premium wine-growing regions of Burgundy. The 0.80ha site perhaps used to be home to Gallo-Roman ruins, and the vines now grown there have an average age of 70 years. The bouquet of this 100% Pinot noir is rich and exotic with a rich texture, fleshy tannins and a touch of black pepper and spice on the finish.

The Tollot-Beaut family is a based at Chorey-Les-Beaune with vineyards located in Beaune, Savigny, Aloxe-Corton and a small holding in Corton Charlemagne. This 100% Pinot Noir has ripe black cherry, black currant, violet and mineral notes. The palate is dense, yet elegant with ripe fruit and fine tannins. A consistently underrated site from a wonderful domaine.

This opulent wine has a broad and balanced mid-palate, notes of vanilla and blueberry, a dried floral character and chalky tannins. Anise and cherry lift the palate to a beautiful, lingering finish. In both aromatics and palate, this is an elegant vintage worthy of cellaring for years to come.

These are not the usual Special Bins that Penfolds releases every so often but this is a new wine that will be in regular production, although not every vintage. 

Crushed blackberry meets chocolate and vanilla, even on the nose generosity and concentration are apparent right away. The first sip is full-on: bold, concentrated tannins, fine freshness that highlights the wonderfully generous, bold, big, muscular fruit. It is that delicious and pervasive acidity that allows every nuance to show: that pure flavour of wild blueberry, that note of cocoa powder, that powdery vanilla and nutmeg-scented texture, those fine-grained but ripe tannins with both their rigour and their juiciness. This is brooding, dark, and profound and for now, it only gives us an idea of what will be possible. A wonderful new addition to the range. Seamless and balanced.

Named for the giant old-growth Douglas fir sitting right at the top of the vineyard, Old Firs is a study in terroir. No matter the length of the growing season, nor the size of crop, Old Firs always has a hallmark salinity backed with a ton of power and intensity. The furthest west of all our plantings Old Firs Block is constantly in a deluge of fog and cold Pacific winds. The site speaks clearly year after year through both winemaking and vintage. This is one for the ages. 

This twisted bottle is unique to Brotte's Pere Anselme line, and this version, the reserve, is new to our market. A classic blend of Grenache and Syrah from low-yield vineyards. Dried cherries and prune plums, pipe tobacco and baking spices, raisins, balsamic, salted licorice and leather aromas lead to a smooth palate. Similar cherry and spice, leather, tobacco and coffee flavours appear in the mouth. It's got classic styling and is perfect for braised meat, stews, succulent bean casseroles, ratatouille

Michel Mallard'sLa Toppe au Vert extends over Corton hill's southeastern slope, the name referring to a "land of good exposure". This 100% pinot noirhas a deep ruby color and a complex bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, and earthy notes, with a touch of vanilla and spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with fine tannins and flavors of dark fruit, cherry, and hints of leather with fresh acidity and a long finish.

Sottimano is a family-run winery in the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont, Italy. The 2018 vintage of their single-vineyard Pajore Barbaresco is a beautiful expression of Nebbiolo, with aromas of red berries, rose petals, and tar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins and a long finish. This wine is still quite young and will benefit from some additional bottle aging, but it has already received high scores from wine critics, with Antonio Galloni of Vinous awarding it a score of 96/100.

Franz Haas Lagrein DOC is a red wine produced in the Valle Isarco subregion of Alto Adige, Italy, by the Franz Haas winery. Made entirely from the Lagrein grape variety, the wine exhibits a deep ruby red color with purple hues. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe dark berries, such as blackberries and blueberries, as well as notes of spices, such as black pepper and cloves. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured with fine tannins and a pleasant acidity, with flavors of dark fruit, chocolate and coffee. The wine has a persistent finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. It can be paired with roasted meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.

Cottà Barbaresco DOCG has liquorice notes and a light touch of smokiness. Dried roses dominate the floral scents. It remains delicate in the mouth and, yet, with plenty of aromatic persistence and well balanced tannins.

The vineyards of Michel Mallard located in Ladoix-Serrigny at the foot of Corton Hill in the Cotes de Beaune encompass all levels of vineyard quality: Villages, Premier Cru Grand Cru. Red wines of Corton will typically be more structured than wines of Vougeout, but perhaps not as powerful as Pommard. The Grand Cru of Le Rognet is a complex wine with notes of buleberry, blackberry and blackcurrant with nuances of licorice and pepper. Smooth and velvety tannins, this wine will age for a surprisingly long time.

From the Veneto region, international grape varieties thrive, especially Cabernet Franc. The Savian winery is a family owend winery in the Lison Pramaggiore region fo Veneto, in operation since 1925. They received their organic certification in 1993. The company owns seven brands, and the Quota 7 line is also biodynamic. This Cabernet Franc is full bodied with juicy black fruit, herbs and hints of earth. Super drinkable and will pair well with grilled meats, and the price point is undeniable!

The Giribaldi Langhe DOC Merlot is a 100% Merlot, organic red wine from Rodello, Piedmont, offering red fruit, dark cherry, tobacco, and vanilla notes with a warm, full palate and hints of liquorice, ideal with red meats, game, and hard cheeses, served at 16-18°C. Produced by the family-owned Giribaldi estate, it's a taste of the rich Langhe terroir, showcasing elegance and balance.

Intense garnet colour. Aromas of fresh red fruit, like gooseberry, with hints of humus on a oaky background. Impressive concentration on the palate and a persistent texture. The finish is almost rustic, with firm tannins covered by the dry extract.

Reflecting centuries of winemaking mastery, Chateau Gruaud Larose 2016-506 offers aromatic intensity featuring truffle, plum, and subtle oak nuances —an exceptional wine that captures the soul of its vineyard with every sip.

The estate vineyards of Opus One, comprised of 4 parcels, sit in the western portion of the famed Oakville AVA. Two parcels, totaling 100 acres, are within the renowned To Kalon Vineyard. These are complemented by the combined 70 acres of the Ballestra and River parcels, which envelop the winery. In the vineyards, hand-harvesting and other traditional approaches are taken wherever they work best. When modern techniques benefit the winegrowing process, they are researched, evaluated and integrated into practice.

Color: It is very intense, with a cherry red background and the rim in the same shade.

Nose:Of great intensity, just by serving it in the glass, it generates a halo of aromas that fills the environment with a captivating sensation. Behind a light, slightly smoked curtain, an impressive landscape appears. Black fruit dotted with flashes of redness. Sensations of the wind that carries the smell of rain. A field of violets in the background. Very fine spices, among which clove and freshly ground black pepper stand out. Subtle notes of cocoa and liquorice. An aromatic harmony that defines the great Cirsion.

palate:Full, voluminous and aerial sensation at the same time. It is the definition of the volume that does not weigh. The tannin is very fine and there is freshness on all sides. Fruits, moist earth and fresh spices are felt again. Volume, freshness and elegance set the pace in the palate.

This impressive Magnum bottle (1.5L) is home to a stunner of a Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by Master of Wine, James Cluer. A youthful, deep purple-hued wine, which is a true expression of the vineyard's soul. It shows Napa Valley's trademark power with intensely ripe black fruit, dark chocolate nuances, licorice, and hints of black olive and dusty stones that are all hallmarks of this exquisite terroir. Avondale Phoenix Red Blend Organic is a rich and elegant South African red wine crafted from organically farmed grapes in Paarl. This Bordeaux-style blend offers expressive aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, and dark berries, layered with notes of dark chocolate and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with refined tannins, vibrant freshness, and concentrated dark fruit. Vranac is a prominent, ancient red grape variety from the Balkans, primarily native to Montenegro, known for producing deep, almost black-purple, full-bodied wines with high tannins and bright acidity. It typically features intense dark fruit aromas—blackberries, blueberries, and cherries—often enhanced by aging to produce chocolate, liquorice, and spicy notes.

Cortonesi La Mannella Brunello di Montalcino is a premium, 100% Sangiovese wine from Tuscany, known for its intense ruby color and complex aromas of raspberry, black cherry, dried herbs, and earthy notes. It is a full-bodied, structured wine with velvety tannins, a slight saltiness, and a long, fruity finish.

Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is a renowned, full-bodied Australian red wine first produced in 1959, showcasing a warm-climate style with ripe, robust flavors. The FALESCO BRUNELLO LE MACIOCHE (also known as Famiglia Cotarella Le Macioche) is a Brunello di Montalcino wine that typically showcases a ruby red color with notes of dried wild plum, undergrowth of fresh juniper, and white musk. On the palate, it offers a deep, fruity character with elegant tannins and a long finish. Some vintages, like the 2019, might exhibit bright cherry fruit, menthol, balsamic herbs, and earthy tones.

Ceretto Dolcetto d'Alba Rossana is a dry, organic red wine from Piedmont, Italy, made from 100% Dolcetto grapes. It is characterized by its bright ruby color, and aromas of red fruits (especially cherry), violets, and hints of spice and almonds. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fresh, and balanced with a pleasant, persistent finish, making it a versatile companion for light appetizers, pasta dishes, and young cheeses.

Such pure and beautiful aromas of blackberries and black cherries with violets and red roses. So aromatic and enticing. Full-bodied with extremely integrated tannins that are velvety and curated. Fresh and sweet fruit at the end with an orange-peel undertone. Crushed stone and sandalwood, too. This is a very beautiful second wine of Ausone. 60% cabernet franc and 40% merlot. Drink after 2025.

This forward Barbera has aromas of black plum and macerated cherries punctuated by intense floral and gamy notes. The palate is concentrated with a deep core of black hue fruits with fresh herbs, violets finishing with bright acidity, fine tannins and a hint of sea salt.

Château de Montfrin has been in Jean-René de Fleurieu’s family since 1925 when his grandfather purchased the château and the vineyards. Jean-René took over in 2004 and today is supported by his daughter Aurore and Estate Manager Benjamin Beguin in the operation of the winery and its 100 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. In addition to vineyards, the estate also has olive groves. Looking after the land is a love affair for Jean-René and Benjamin. This is where they grew up, established roots and feel at home. The vineyards are spread out and are located in four different appellations: Pont du Gard, Costières de Nîmes, Côtes du Rhône, and Côtes du Rhône Villages. The vines grow in hallowed farmland made up of contrasting terrain, from the vast silty soils of the plains along the majestic Rhône to the sunny hillside of its banks and the stony plateaus of its now abandoned riverbeds.

This is a harmonious blend dominated by fully ripened Grenache (80%) with 15% Syrah and 5% of Carignan. An inviting aroma of spice, followed by notes of black fruit. A complex structure of silky, mature tannins provides the perfect backbone for this special red wine that embodies the powerful charm of the southern Rhône.

An exquisite fusion of Garnacha and Cariñena (Carignan), offering a compelling alternative to Cotes du Rhone. Camino del Bosque, made with 60% Garnacha and 40% Cariñena, is sourced from the village of Almonacid de la Sierra in Zaragoza. The former undergoes fermentation in stainless steel, while the latter takes on the process in concrete and oak, utilizing indigenous yeasts. Maintaining a meticulous aging process, thirty percent of the blend matures in concrete, around 5% in clay pots (tinaja), and the remainder in oak barriques and oak vats over a 14-month period. This red blend is characterized by its juicy, primary, fruit-forward profile, showcasing ripened notes of plums, dark berries, and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is harmoniously round, unveiling fine tannins, pristine flavours, and seamlessly integrated oak. Embark on a sensory journey with this luscious Mediterranean red.

Arnaldo Rivera was a local primary school teacher, mayor of his village for 36 years, and founder in 1958 of the Terre del Barolo winery, which still today is the only direct cooperative wine cellar in the entire supply chain in the Barolo production area. Verduno might be one of the 12 communes allowed to put ‘Barolo’ on the label, yet besides the great grape Nebbiolo, they are famous for the native Pelaverga grape, which you can find most locals drinking in caffes.

Rustic and slightly opaque on the nose, it is expertly worked to give complexity in addition to the floral matrix. Hints of wet geraniums, hot stone and ginseng root set the main scene. Medium body, soft little extracted tannins and vibrant acidity from the midpalate onward. Drink now.

The 2021 Duhart-Milon has turned out beautifully, offering up incipiently complex aromas of dark berries and cassis mingled with notions of orange zest, burning embers, pencil lead and iris. Medium to full-bodied, suave and polished, with a layered core of fruit, supple tannins and a long, sapid finish, it will offer a broad drinking window. Drink Date: 2027 - 2045
