Black raspberries, flowers, orange peel, licorice, mint, smoke, and cocoa fill the perfume. On the palate, the wine is packed with minerality, cocoa, plums, and black raspberries. with a lot of cut, refinement and salty tannins in the lifted, berry-filled finish. The wine blends 70% Merlot with 30% Cabernet Franc.

Dark ruby, purple reflections, faint ochre brightening on the rim. Delicate wild blackberries, nuances of cherries, candied orange zest, rather shy bouquet. Medium complexity, sweet red cherries, ripe, integrated tannins, some cocoa on the finish, already developed and drinkable.

Light golden yellow, silver reflections. Restrained, fine yellow fruit, soft notes of apple, pineapple, a hint of meadow herbs, mineral touch. Juicy, fine mango touch, taut texture, tight-knit, ripe pear fruit on the finish, salty touch, lingers on the palate, definite ageing potential, already easily accessible.

This exquisite rum showcases an intense amber tawny hue. Its opulent and inviting nose reveals a plethora of complex aromas, including spicy notes, jammy fruits, and nutty undertones, complemented by hints of orange flower and a subtle oakiness derived from extensive cask aging. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied and concentrated flavor profile, with rich and velvety textures that linger on the palate, culminating in a long and mellow finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Modern and bulky, this has a lot of great things going on. It opens with aromas of mineral, graphite, sage and bold berry, with chewy, roasted black-fruit flavors. It's long, compact, chocolaty and spicy on the finish.

Avarietal wine with layers of leather and bacon at the core, this full-bodied bottling is otherwise soft and juicy in red and black fruit. Overlaying it all is a smoky quality that overbears at times, but will pair well with the right foods.

Clearly a bigger and more structured wine than the 2014, this has blackberry and fig notes along with a lick of minerality, suggested by both the texture and the gunsmoke edge to the finish. It’s enjoyable and approachable, although still young. The alcohol levels are high in 2015, but the St-Emilion plateau is a relatively forgiving spot for generous alcohols because there’s a natural minerality and freshness from the limestone. 30% new oak. The grapes for Meursault Les Meurgers are coming from the parcel located on the route to Auxey Duresses, in a horseshoe shape ravine. The grapes always reach ripeness quite early in the season. The name of this village comes from the efforts undertaken by man to plant vines in extremely stony soils. Stones that were thrown formed piles, that are called "murger".

Rich and luxurious wine, well balanced and structured in the mouth. Beautiful golden yellow in color with green highlights. It boasts aromas of toasted nuts, ripe fruit and a very delicate oak aroma. On the palate it is dry and mellow with a lingering smooth finish.

Bright raspberries and red cherries in the nose mingle with riper black cherries, dark chocolate and blueberries in this abundantly fruity, but also well-oaked and well-structured wine made from mostly Zinfandel. Velvety tannins, succulent fruit and spicy oak nuances all balance nicely.

The nose is elegant. It reveals notes of black fruits. The palate is fresh, elegant, fresh and balanced. In the mouth it expresses notes of blueberry cream, violets and sweet spices in the background. Good length.

Medium-bodied, elegant, fresh, and lifted, the wine is forward, making it easy to enjoy all of the ripe, sweet, red fruits with their accents of smoke, licorice, and olives.

This densely packed wine is layered in gorgeous fruits from raspberries and dark plums to sweet cherries, all wrapped in velvety tannins for a smooth and creamy texture. The subtle oak spices are flooded by the potent fruitiness that lingers long on the finish.

Deep yellow-gold. Racy nose whose mineral character is augmented by subtle notes of fresh straw and mint. The palate is structured yet also fresh, well-integrated and persistent. The nose aromas recur and linger on the finish.

Bright straw colour with a green hue. Pure and floral nose with great intensity, flinty aromas with crushed peach and lemongrass, great intensity and freshness combined with youthful pure fruit and a long lingering finish.

The aromas are bright, with notes of honey dew, lemon and spice, much more fruit forward than this wine usually is. The palate meanwhile is reserved. It seems fragmented at present, but many good pieces are there. Sean P. Sullivan

Julian and Carolann Castagna were running one of Sydney’s most successful film production houses. Julian had worked in the film industry as a Film Director all his working life but had become besotted by fine wine while working in London. Carolann was a Writer.
They decided to plant a vineyard in a place in Australia not yet universally recognised as a major viticultural area but one that Julian believed would be perfect for Syrah. Julian also believed that Italian varieties had great potential in the same place, so Sangiovese was also a possibility. Thus Syrah was planted, and later Sangiovese. 
Un Segreto (Secret in Italian) is a blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Syrah. It has and intense nose of blackberries, plums, and dark cherries, with hints of tobacco and earthiness. The flavours are rich and concentrated and include blackberries and blackcurrants, with notes of dark chocolate and spices.

Medium-bodied, forward, and packed with fresh, sweet, dark red fruits, the wine is vibrant, and polished, ending with plums, and powdered cocoa on the backend. The wine is produced from 90% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc. 90-92 Pts.

The name "Confiscated" pays tribute to a warehouse of Kentucky Owl barrels lost in 1916. As Prohibition loomed, government forces, emboldened by the temperance movement's growing influence, seized over $40 million worth of bourbon from then-Master Blender C.M. Dedman. This event, coupled with the devastating impact of Prohibition, led to Kentucky Owl's decline into obscurity. Nearly a century later, Dedman's great-great-grandson, Master Blender Dixon Dedman, revived the brand, drawing inspiration from these long-lost barrels for his latest release.

Taste: Smooth and creamy with flavors of honey, malt, and a touch of spice.
Palate: Rich and full-bodied with a long, lingering finish of caramel and toffee.

Bright young straw colour wth a green hue. Pure and fragrant aromas offering white peach, pear, lemongrass and flinty notes. The palate shows very nice restraint in terms of freshness, mouth watering with crisp young stone fruit flavours, good volume and texture with fine extract and a very long vibrant finish.

Coil Signal Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is a fine example of the elegance and complexity that the Mendocino Ridge AVA can impart to this noble grape. This wine likely showcases the characteristic bright acidity and red fruit flavors of Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry, raspberry, and perhaps a hint of cranberry, complemented by nuances of earth, spice, and a delicate floral note, possibly violet or rose. Aged in oak, it might offer subtle hints of vanilla and toast that enrich the wine's profile without overpowering the delicate fruit. The high elevation of the Signal Ridge Vineyard contributes to a pronounced minerality and finesse in the wine, leading to a long, refined finish. 

This no-nonsense wine offers good red- and black-cherry flavors on a nicely firm texture and is well balanced for pairing with a variety of meats and other protein-rich dishes.

There are plenty of sherbet lemon, citrus zest and toasty notes among the aromas. A refreshing wine with some savouriness and a zippy finish.
