Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most trusted and revered wine houses in Burgundy’s Côte d’Or. Frédéric Barnier, Jadot’s esteemed winemaker, and his team balance tradition and technology, focusing on the purest expression of each wine’s terroir.  Founded in 1859, the house now owns 528 acres of vineyards, including 280 acres of the Cote d’Or’s most prestigious Premier and Grand Cru plots. Brisk deep purple, this is a solid multi-textured wine with depth of flavour and a certain darkness to it but it remains superbly balanced in tannins and acidity. The Remy Martin Louis XIII Dragon Coffret, designed by Chinese artist Liu Li Hong, it is a limited edition coffret designed for 2024 Lunar New Year. In a special celebration edition for the Lunar New Year, Year of the Dragon, the Louis XIII cognac, starts life aged in individual cellars in centuries-old barrels, which helps to give it its rich, full flavour.

Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is an ultra-premium Kentucky straight bourbon finished for three additional years in select French XO Cognac barrels, resulting in a complex, rich, and velvety spirit. Bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof), it features notes of toasted oak, dried fruit, cocoa, and creamy vanilla. The bourbon comes in a handmade Baccarat crystal decanter. 

Winemaker Steve Doerner has been making wine for 37 years - 14 years at Calera in California and 23 years at Cristom in Oregon. Luke Jefferson is his new wine project with miniscule production, first released as 40 cases with the 2013 vintage and 120 cases in 2014. The wine is named as an homage to his 2-year-old son, Luke Jefferson Doerner, and is also a nod to Thomas Jefferson, whom Steve admires. Steve's spouse, Irene Steh-Doerner, is also part of the family project. The wine allows Steve to pursue making a wine that suits his personal vision and palate apart from the Cristom style. This cases features one bottle of each vintage from 2014-2018, a perfect gift for the Pinot lover or for the aficionado.

The 2020 Masseto now sees new DNA with a touch of Cabernet Franc added to this celebrated Merlot-based icon wine. This is a vintage of enormous richness and density, and everything about the wine is taken up a notch or two (including the bottle glass weight and the 15% alcohol content). But Axel Heinz and his team are well prepared for the hot vintages like 2020, and changes to farming and canopy management ensure even ripening. This wine is always hard to analyze in its youth. It needs many more years to soften and flesh out. Give it time.

Made from a single vineyard of old vines, this wine is only produced in excellent vintages. It ages for 30 months in large hand selected barrels, used only for this wine. The nose is extremely complex and
broad with the classic Sangiovese notes of marasca cherry and
violets, but there are also scents of orange peel, sage, and balsamic. On the palate, it is dense, structured, and savory with silky, integrated tannins and fragrant acidity, with a finish you won't soon forget.This wine comes as a 3-pack in a beautiful sealed wooden box, however there is the ability to purchase a single bottle. The Pym-Rae reveals a deep garnet-purple color and a slightly reticent, slowly emerging nose of freshly crushed blackcurrants, ripe blackberries and wild blueberries with suggestions of garrigue, red currant jelly, mossy tree bark and truffles plus wafts of bouquet garni and Sichuan pepper.

This is a prodigious effort. A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Merlot and Cabernet Franc (only 37% of the crop qualified for Las Cases), this dense ruby/purple wine has a stunningly pure bouquet of dark fruit, wet rocks, graphite, and subtle background toast/vanillin. Full-bodied, masculine, and very deep and concentrated, this titanic effort is at least 8-10 years away from its plateau of maturity. The Delon family have produced another legend. Anticipated maturity: 2023-2050+.

Spiced sandalwood, white pepper, saffron, cigar box, oyster shell salinity, orange peel, and still juicy blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, even as it heads towards 35 years old. Utterly gorgeous, effortless even, the word beguiling comes out of nowhere. Love this, and provides a glimpse into what this wine can acheive when you are lucky enough to catch it at the right moment. 50% new oak, Michel Delon owner. Harvest took place this year from 23rd September to 8th October. The wine was aged for around 12 months in two-thirds new oak. Medium brick-brown in color, the 1990 Ducru-Beaucaillou is quite evolved, offering notions of incense, tree bark, tilled soil and tobacco with nuances of preserved plums, kirsch, tapenade and leather. Medium to full-bodied, the palate still possesses a good amount of earth-laced savory fruit with a bit of chew to the texture and a stewed tea finish.

To the north of the Côte de Beaune, the Montagne de Corton brings together the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny. The vineyards lie between 250 and 330 meters above sea level, forming an amphitheatre unlike any other on the Côte. Corton Grand Cru is produced mainly in red over 90 ha, and may bear the name of its climat, of which there are 25, such as Les Perrieres, Les Combes, Clos des Meix, Les Bressandes, Le Rognet, Les Renardes, Le Clos du Roi, etc.

The 2020 L'Eglise Clinet is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The Merlot was picked between the 11th and the 14th of September, and the Cabernet Franc was picked on the 16th of September. It has an alcohol of 14.4% and is aging in French oak barrels, 80% new. Displaying and opaque purple-black color, it needs a bit of swirling to reveal a fascinating array of earthy notes —black truffles, charcoal, mossy tree bark and fallen leaves—over a profound core of preserved plums, blackberry preserves and violets, with a waft of tapenade. The medium to full-bodied palate has exquisitely ripe tannins and bold freshness supporting the seductively ripe, black fruit layers, finishing on a lingering fragrant earth note.

Clos Vougeot is one of the most renowned vineyards in Burgundy, and it holds the Grand Cru classification, indicating the highest quality level for Burgundy wines. Château de la Tour is one of the prestigious producers in the area, focusing on producing exceptional wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Chateau de la Tour Clos Vougeot Grand Cru is known for its elegance, complexity, and finesse. The wine typically exhibits flavors of red and black fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, with notes of spices, earth, and sometimes floral undertones. It often has a medium to full body, well-integrated tannins, and a long, lingering finish.

This dark gold whisky has a nose of plums, berries and green ferns. The palate is sweet with notes of apricots, chocolate, and spice. The finish is long, with lingering fruit notes.

Crafted utilising fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured and structured shiraz grapes, the result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one of the most consistent of the worlds great wines. Flavours of dark fruits, Christmas pudding and fruitcake. Entwined with flavours of oak, deep texture and tannins.

The nose of the 62er Grant has a multi-faceted range of aromas that are creamy, intense, and characterful. Hazelnuts and woody spices rise from the glass, with hints of chocolate, vanilla, and honey. Undertones of furniture polish and leather can also be detected, as well as raisins in rum and caramel infused with peppermint. As you inhale, you are greeted with a dignified and old-fashioned bouquet that stimulates salivation.

The first sip is mild and velvety, with a balance of creamy sweetness and fruity flavors. The second sip reveals the appearance of citrus fruits and tart, spicy wood tones. The wooden sharpness lingers in the mouth and is accompanied by old walnuts, dark caramel, dried orange peel, and dark chocolate. The flavors of raisins, cherries, leather, and tobacco gradually come to the forefront, along with cedar wood and sweetish tobacco. The finish is powerful and voluminous, pulling the flavors down the throat and leaving behind dark fruit flavors, woody spices, leather, tobacco, and fresh peppermint. The complex flavors blend together to leave a contented smile on your face.

Valbuena is the pure expression of a red at Vega Sicilia, with an ageing of five years from barrel to
bottle, which gives it its name, Valbuena 5º (5th year). 225-litre French and American oak barrels,
both new and used, 8,500-litre vats are used in a long and complex process for perhaps, the wine
which has evolved the most over the last few years.
Valbuena 5º presents its splendor in each vintage and a direct view of the greatness of its soil,
where the weather conditions each year make a clear distinction on the vintage.

The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is rich and full with a well-harnessed sweetness. There are notes of acacia honey and buttery vanilla, notes of mixed wild berries and Creme de fraise. Hints of gooseberries with dry ropes and creamy citrus and smoke. The palate is complex and well-balanced. There are notes of aged Cuban rum with a touch of dark, yet quite subservient peat. The smoke rises gently, coerced by a rather persuasive sherry. The finish is long and smoky with plenty of sherry notes.

Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc (Pessac-Leognan) - a blend of 72% Semillon and 18% Sauvignon Blanc. The Semillon provides richness and acidity with the Sauvignon adding an array of citrus and stone fruits. White wine luxury - who says white wines can't age? Drink now to 2030.

Chateau Haut-Brion is the only first growth outside the Medoc in the Graves region, acquired in 1935 by Clarence Dillon. It is also the only winer to be both First Growth from the 1855 classification and Classified Growth of the Graves. This was the first of three estates acquired by the Dillon family, and is the oldest winegrowing property in the region. The 2016 is a red wine blend made from 56% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 37% Cabernet Sauvignon. Black currants, violets and plums that is full-bodied and juicy on the palate with rich tannin and structure.
