The somewhat nondescript bouquet is neutral and mildly grainy with some mild aromas of spice and ripe yellow fruit. Palate entry is meek and softly sweet; things improve at midpalate as flavors of charcoal, maple and sugar syrup emerge. Finishes well in a sweet grain manner.

Mars Shinshu Iwai Tradition is a 75% malt and 25% grain blended Japanese whisky from the high-altitude Nagano distillery, aged in bourbon, sherry, and wine casks. It offers a complex, soft, and, balanced flavor profile featuring ripe cherry, honey, toffee, and ginger spice with a subtle, smoky finish.

Amahagan World Malt No. 4 Yamazakura is a Japanese blended malt whisky from Nagahama Distillery finished in rare Yamazakura (Japanese cherry wood) casks. Bottled at 47% ABV, this "World Malt" merges Nagahama’s new make with imported malts, offering a complex, sweet, and floral profile featuring notes of cherry blossom, brown sugar, orange zest, and a long, tea-like finish. 

CavAgave Reposado Tequila is meticulously crafted from 100% blue agave, harvested from the finest agave fields at the San Julián farm in Jalisco, Mexico. Aged for 3-6 months in American white oak barrels, this Reposado Tequila undergoes a transformative process that intensifies its flavor and aroma. The aging imparts rich and complex notes to the tequila, creating a smooth and refined drinking experience. Aged 45 days, this Tequila has a faint straw tinge and an aroma that mixes zesty tomato and sweet honey-vanilla. Vanilla wins on the palate—bold and sweet, with hints of coconut and dill, drying to a nutmeg and cinnamon-accented finish. Versatile cocktail choice.

POLI MARCONI 46 GIN is a handcrafted Italian gin that is distilled using traditional methods and features a distinctive blend of juniper berries, muscat grape, mountain pine, cembra pine, mint, cardamom, and coriander. This unique infusion of flavors is inspired by the Asiago plateau in the north of the Veneto region, which is the ancestral home of the Poli family.

This particular rum comes from a beautiful but previously used sherry butt in the same solera as our highly esteemed 2013 cask strength release. The distinction here is that it's a single cask bottling from a sherry butt that has been exclusively emptied for this release. Additionally, we have chosen to bottle it at a more moderate 44% alcohol content, rather than its original 50%.

Hernö Navy Strength Gin, a bold flagship rich in flavour, is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Dry Gin, but diluted to 57% vol. instead of 40,5% vol. The difference in aroma and taste is very clear, and Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a richer flavour with bolder juniper, coriander and citrus.

Nose: Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a bold juniper character with fragrant citrus and fresh and peppery notes.

Finish: Spicy and peppery with mellow warmth. Long and lingering, yet smooth, finish.

Palate: Sappy with crisp juniper followed by spicy citrus and spring floral notes. A lot of flavours with a sippable texture and a little warmth.

Gordon's London Dry Gin is a classic and iconic gin, widely recognized for its distinctive green bottle and juniper-forward flavor profile. It is made using a secret recipe of botanicals that includes juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, and citrus peel, which are distilled in a copper still to create a spirit that is then blended with pure water. The resulting gin has a clean, crisp taste with strong juniper notes and a refreshing finish. It is a versatile gin that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails.

La Bota de Gin 81 "Bota NO" is a complex and elegant gin, perfumed with a subtle sherry character. It has its origin in the finest distillate, London Dry Gin style, with marked citrus and juniper berries aromas, later aged for almost four years in a single cask previously used for ageing Fino from Jerez until it has been bottled at cask strength. The outcome is a symphony of aromas and flavours and a delicate palate that reminds of manzanilla pasada rather than spirits—an exceptional gin. We do not know any other one like this.

At the beginning of 2014, we selected several old casks that had previously been used for maturing sherry or brandy for over forty years to mature this magnificent gin. One was almost completely emptied for this edition of the "La Bota" series. It is, therefore, an exclusive product, which will last as long as it takes to sell out the few more than six hundred bottles that have come out of this single cask.

Tasting Note By Master of Malt
Nose: Sweet almond croissant, with fresh hay, stewed apple and creamy coconut, supported by white floral aromas.
Palate: Classic festive spiciness, with ginger, nutmeg and oodles of dried fruit, orange chocolate and maple syrup drizzled over pancakes.
Finish: Waxy citrus, oily malt and fresh tropical fruit, followed by chai-spiced dark chocolate.

The Sovereign Port Dundas blended Scotch whisky is made using a combination of single malt whiskies from the closed Port Dundas distillery and other distilleries in Scotland. The exact composition of the blend is not disclosed, but it is known to have a light and floral character with a hint of sweetness and a smooth and balanced flavor profile.

Nose: Rich honey aromas combine with sweet lime zest and vanilla.
Taste: Subtle apple notes lead to a hint of fudge. Sweet flavours of honeydew melon and lemon are accompanied by soft white pepper.
Finish: Medium bodied finish, smooth with toasted oak.

This Amber Coloured Whisky:
Is very rich and concentrated on the nose with dark fruits - plums, blackberries - combined with beef stock, the darkest chocolate and a slight rubberiness.
Is very savoury on the palate with more beef stock along with herbal-amaro type notes and a rich, European oak influence.
Has a long, lingering and complex finish.

This is from refill American hogshead distilled in 1988 and bottled on 16th December 2020 producing 207 bottles.

A family business created in 1979, Champagne Gremillet is today managed by the founder's children, Anna and Jean-Christophe Gremillet.
