Latitude is 100% Côte des Blancs Chardonnay from vineyards on the southern side of Vertus. These vineyards are on roughly the same latitude, hence the name, which also hints at the breadth of texture that the wines from these sites (having more clay in the soil) tend to offer up.

Biodynamic

Dark yellow with a hint of amber. Quince, blackcurrants, tobacco notes in the nose. Peach and honey tones appear on the palate made smooth by the vintage. The sweetness of the residual sugar and crisp acids form a beautiful harmony in the wine. The notes from wood-barrel ageing nestle into the taste of the wine. Long finish and best accompanied with blue cheeses, goose liver and desserts.

DOMAINE TORTOCHOT GEVREY 1ER CRU CHAMPEAUX exhibits complexity married perfectly with elegance, the wine is full-bodied and this comes very much to the fore. There is a fruitiness together with touches of flowers - roses and wallflower. This wine may be kept and be allowed to mature for some years.

Tasting Note
Delicate golden color with soft green glints. Intense nose with tremendous aromatic richness. Initial notes of citrus zest are followed by lemon tart, and then toasted notes reminiscent of freshly baked brioche. The palate offers mandarin zest and candied orange, enlivened by a touch of star anise which underscores the wine's aromatic freshness. Dense and rich, the palate has good length with a pleasant hint of bitterness on the finish.
It is only in Sauternes that botrytis can develop, giving Rieussec its unique richness. This noble rot meets our grapes to create a delicate osmosis that we reveal by harvesting each grape at the ideal moment. Once bottled, our wine starts its life cycle, drinkable from the earliest stage to the longest aging potential: when kept chilled once opened, it can be enjoyed for several weeks without deteriorating and can match a thousand flavors and occasions from noon to midnight.

Luigi Bosca De Sangre Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby-coloured red wine that stands out for its aromas of excellent varietal typicity. Black fruit and peppery notes are perfectly balanced with roasted hues resulting from its aging in barrels.

It is compact, tense, markedly structured and full-bodied in the palate, with fine and ripe tannins and balanced acidity that provides great smoothness and a persistent and elegant finish.

This wine exudes freshness both on the nose and palate, with an abundance of crisp apple and pear flavors taking the spotlight. While it may not exhibit a wide range of complexities, its balance, intensity, and immediate drinkability more than compensate for this.

This wine presents initially with a subtle demeanor, gradually revealing delicate notes of orange blossom, honeysuckle, and lime zest. As it evolves, hints of pink grapefruit pith and classic Riesling character emerge, accompanied by a focused palate featuring green citrus, green pineapple, and just-ripe peach. Undertones of almond meal and spice add depth, leading to a chalky, lingering finish characterized by mouth-watering acidity. After the light, complex oak spice aromas, the next thing that strikes you about this medium-bodied wine is an unusually appetizing, even grippy texture from good acidity and possibly oak tannins. The wine is structured, concentrated and a good candidate for further aging.

Yellow citrus, white peach, orange rind and honeysuckle scents open the nose. On the palate, the wine is creamy, sweet, exuberant and fruity, with just a hint of chalk in the backend of the finish. The wine blends 71% Sauvignon Blanc and 29% Semillon.14% ABV. 92-92 Pts.

Forty percent of this Cru is made in oak. Instantly it seems more complex, with more schist and flint, and a nutty character too, the gentle toasted almond very appealing. Mouth-filling and ripe, so much more weight here and more ripe juiciness than the Vaillons, quite a different style but then the finish is lean and super fresh, with the lick of salty acidity powering through.

Powerful and pure, this wine presents fresh orchard fruit, white pepper and tea leaf. Aging in old oak barrels provide notes of nutmeg, fresh vanilla and fresh almond.

Some attractive citrus elements are present, but bruised-apple notes suggest a certain level of oxidation, and the flavors fall away quickly on the finish.

The "Third Chapter" of this distillery's "Renaissance Series," this 17-year-old Glen Garioch whisky was originally available only in select whisky shops and the distillery’s visitor center. Positioned just below the 18-year-old offering, it is matured in a mix of sherry and former Bourbon casks, delivering a warm, well-aged dram with an excellent balance of spirit and cask types. The Shinobu Distillery, located in Niigata on Japan’s western coast, is renowned for its “Three White Treasures”: snow, rice, and sake.
