With a strong floral character, the wine quickly moves to its spices, kirsch and green leafy notes. Polished, round, fresh and sweet, the cherry, cocoa and spicy palate finish already tastes and feels great. The wine blends 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Cinsault.

Enticing aromas of fragrant blue flower, ripe woodland berry, menthol and star anise are front and center on this full-bodied red. The firm palate features crushed raspberry, blood orange, underbrush and coffee bean while tightly wound, fine-grained tannins show up at the close and carry through the coffee-bean finish. Potent and layered showing notes of black prunes, blackberries, hot asphalt, geraniums, coriander, sandalwood and cumin. Medium to full bodied, a juicy, linear structure and a finale which is rich in material with an elegant, if slightly bitter closure.

Pencil shavings and leather aromas mark the entry of this robustly full-bodied wine. It has a pronounced forest floor character, while blackberry and black cherry flavors combine with licorice and dark chocolate, filling out the richer notes that interweave throughout the palate, leading into a long finish.

The 2016 Croix Canon is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, serving as the second wine of Château Canon. Composed primarily of Merlot (approx. 74–76%) and Cabernet Franc (24–26%), it offers an elegant, medium-bodied profile with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, graphite, and tobacco. It features fine-grained tannins, a creamy texture, and notable freshness, balancing immediate approachability with significant aging potential.

The Tenimenti Angelini Val di Suga Brunello di Montalcino is a full-bodied Italian red wine with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, citrus, and floral notes like violet. It is known for a balanced and complex palate with velvety tannins, bright acidity, and savory undertones of coffee bean, leather, or forest floor. This elegant wine is a blend from three different vineyards, resulting in a harmonious expression of its terroir with a long, persistent finish. 

Bright ruby red. On the nose, expressive and clear, with cherry and orange, rose hip, and rubbed pepper in the echo. The palate is gripping, with grippy, juicy tannins and also shows shy red-berry fruit. The wine ends on fine earthy notes.

This is a well-structured spicy wine with fresh acidity and lots of fruit. It opens with aromas of meaty red fruit, green bell pepper and peppercorn. Chalky tannins support similar notes of spices and herbs on the palate. A core of plum and blackberry adds to its complexity. It finishes with sweet notes of fruit and tobacco.

A nose of macerated cherries, berry brambles and dark chocolate with aromas of soil and a flinty, metallic edge transitions into a palate that's still dense with cherries and chocolate but balanced by chalky, taut tannins and a bite of acid that brings energy to a leisurely finish.

Tesselaarsdal Pinot Noir (Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge) is a highly-regarded, elegant, and cool-climate red noted for its bright acidity and fine-grained, savory tannins. Hailing from Oaxaca, this mezcal is meticulously crafted from 100% espadín agave employing traditional techniques, resulting in a spirit renowned for its velvety texture and exceptional flavor. Anticipate a symphony of aromas and tastes, including tropical fruit, herbal tones, fresh mint, and dried herbs, all accentuated by a subtle smokiness that pervades every sip. With a lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression, this mezcal is best enjoyed neat or paired with flavorful dishes like fish tacos, accentuating its complex profile.

This nut-brown liqueur, known best as a college shooter, has a sophisticated side, too. Look for a root-like nose that hints at sarsaparilla and a spiced, warming palate that suggests cinnamon, gingerbread, molasses and clove.

The family owns 18 hectares between La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, including 4 Barolo Cru's: R56 (Brandini), Annunziata, Meriame and Cerretta. From the Veneto region, international grape varieties thrive, especially Cabernet Franc. The Savian winery is a family owend winery in the Lison Pramaggiore region fo Veneto, in operation since 1925. They received their organic certification in 1993. The company owns seven brands, and the Quota 7 line is also biodynamic. This Cabernet Franc is full bodied with juicy black fruit, herbs and hints of earth. Super drinkable and will pair well with grilled meats, and the price point is undeniable!

Although the Upper Valdarno in Tuscany, where the winery is located is steeped in history, the young owners of Meca and Rocco are a brother and sister team with a combined age of just over 40 years old. Originally from Calabria where they learned the land, agriculture inthe toe of Italy's boot is difficult, so the family decide to pursue opportunities in Tuscany. They produce olive oil and and vegetables along with wine, all farmed organically. The Vertigine is made with 100% Canaiolo, typically a blending grape for Chianti and Chianti Classico wines. This comes from their youngest vineyard, hand picke and hand selected for a finished wine that is juicy, fresh, with lots of pretty red fruit of cherry and raspberry. A unique and lovely wine.

It began with rather normal temperatures and precipitation, promoting budbreak that was in line with the historical average of the region. Spring, and in particular the month of May, was characterized by frequent rainfall and temperatures slightly below average. The summer months were generally hot and dry, without noticeable spikes, providing optimal ripening conditions for the Merlot, Cabernet & Sangiovese grapes that comprise this wine. A windy and cooler September insured healthy & phenolically mature clusters were obtained during harvest. Tasting Notes Intensely red in colour with purple reflections, this wine contains aromas of forest berries, sweet spice and vanilla bean. Round and harmonious on the palate, this wine has sweet tannins and a delicate finish.

From one of the only wineries located within the Parco Nazionale, this is the top wine of the Pasetti line. With six years of ageing combined with stainless steel, new oak and in bottle, this intense, complex, full-bodied wine is a stunning example of ripe red cherry, and plum, accompanied by hints of violet and dried red flowers. Further flavours of stewed cherries, plums, spice, licorice and coffee that gives great complexity, structure, depth and elegance. A truly fascinating wine.

The winery of Ippolito is the oldest in Calabria, the "toe of Italy's boot - located in the Ciro DOC, this wine was produced to celebrate 160 years of winemaking. Made from 100% Gaglioppo, the grapes are air dried, followed by a long maceration on the skins to give increased concentration and structure. Full bodied with aromas of berries, violets, raisins and sweet spices, it's complex with a pleasantly long finish. Cabernet lovers will love this wine!
