Made in only the best vintages, the grapes for the Trefiano Carmignano Riserva come from five hectares of vineyards surrounding the historic Villa di Trefiano located in the Carmignano DOCG. The Trefiano DOCG is made from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Canaiolo. The wine is aged in tonneaux for 16 months and a further year in a bottle. The vineyard of Quinta do Arnozelo is situated on the southern bank of the Douro river, between the small towns of São João da Pesqueira and Vila Nova de Foz Côa.
