Bright golden appearance shot through with amber highlights. A delightfully refined Rivesaltes with a classy bouquet of soft caramel, stewed apples, pears, nuts and an overriding impression of completeness. Round and elegant on the palate, with a Margaux like understated sophistication. Unmistakeable rancio characters help to place this in a blind tasting, but this is preceeded by impressions of butterscotch, walnut fudge, soft brown sugar and a little treacle. Very gentle on the long length with a pleasing warmth that lingers long after the wine has disappeared.

Domaine l'Enclos' 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudsier demonstrates both elegance and power: apple, pear, quince, orange and orange zest, notes of vanilla, bread crust and coffee with milk. Everything is dominated by a scent of sea air, dried oyster shell and seaweed. A great opening on the tongue, lots of light and juicy fruit combine with a fine acidity which is wonderfully integrated into the fondant of the fruit. A high-class Chablis.

With a strong floral character, the wine quickly moves to its spices, kirsch and green leafy notes. Polished, round, fresh and sweet, the cherry, cocoa and spicy palate finish already tastes and feels great. The wine blends 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 5% Cinsault.

A biodynamically grown wine that is partially aged in used oak barrels. Complex black fruit aromas with pepper and a touch of spice. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, the wine has a sumptuous richness without being heavy. Lovely, sweet ripe fruit and fine tannins that build towards the end of the taste. Extremely well balanced. This wine can be drunk after 3 years but is best drunk after 6 years and will age beautifully well past the decade mark.

The wine has a long and bright finish with a refreshing acidity. Terres Blanches Pouilly Fumé is a classic expression of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc and is known for its elegance and finesse. It is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of seafood dishes, as well as salads, vegetables, and goat cheese.

The generous palate of this full-bodied wine is enjoyable now, with notes of fresh figs, raspberries, plums, wild berries, thyme and violets. Grown on cooler parcels, this Grenache is pure and elegant.

Cherries, plums, licorice, 5 Spice, and white pepper permeate the nose and palate of this ripe, concentrated, full-bodied, intense wine. Another year or two in the cellar should add a bit more roundness to the wine. The wine is produced from old vine Mourvedre that is close to 100 years of age!

Produced from 100% Syrah, the wine is loaded with all the smoky, peppery, black cherries, plums, spice-box, smoke, tobacco, and jam you could ask for. Full-bodied, wild, aromatic, and a bit leafy, with a salty touch in the fruit-filled end-note, this will be better with a bit of aging.
