Okunomatsu Sakura Daiginjo is a premium, highly aromatic sake from Fukushima, Japan, brewed with Gohyaku Mangoku rice polished to 50%. With a mashbill of 72/18/10% (corn/rye/malted barley), Old Forester offers a traditional recipe in a contemporary proof. Ponder the basics: caramel and vanilla with hints of herbs and baking spices. Promise shows in pumpkin spice, custard, and burnt caramel, but there’s an unwanted high-alcohol note that dulls much of the sweeter taste. Its final moments are saved with hints of cinnamon. In 1870, George Garvin Brown established Old Forester on Louisville, KY's renowned whiskey row. To commemorate this pivotal year in bourbon history, we present Old Forester 1870 Original Batch, the inaugural craft expression in the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series.

Old Forester 1870 Original Batch pays homage to George Garvin Brown's original batching method. In his time, Brown combined barrels from three distilleries to achieve a consistent flavor profile. To replicate this process today, we meticulously select barrels from three warehouses, each originating from a distinct day of production, with varying entry proofs and age profiles.

These three iterations of Old Forester are then blended to create Old Forester 1870 Original Batch. This 90-proof bourbon is minimally filtered to honour the techniques available to George Garvin Brown during that era.

Ben Nevis Distillery is a distillery in Scotland that is located at Lochy Bridge in Fort William and sits just at the base of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles, which rises to 4,409 feet above sea level. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands, Ben Nevis draws its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn which originates from two pools, Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste. Founded in 1825 as an independent enterprise, it has been owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling of Tokyo, Japan, since 1989.

The Old Particular Glen Garioch 12 Year Old 2010 (Cask 15592) is a 2022 release by independent bottler Douglas Laing, featuring a 12-year-old single malt matured in a refill hogshead. It offers a sweet nose of butterscotch, honey, and caramel, leading to a waxy palate with barley sugar, vanilla, and gentle pepper, finishing with lingering, drying spices.

Proudly offered at a natural cask strength of 48.4%, this Single Cask bottling was distilled at Invergordon Distillery in 2002. Sweet and creamy with a plethora of vanilla and a perfect spicy oak character

The Old Particular Jura 12 Year Old is a single cask, independent bottling from Douglas Laing, usually matured in a single refill hogshead for 12 years (often distilled 2008–2009). It is non-chill filtered and natural color, characterized by creamy, buttery notes, caramel, malted barley, and a gentle, lightly charred oak finish, typically bottled at high strength (approx. 48.4% ABV).

Nose: Rich and aromatic with notes of dried fruits, honey, and vanilla.

Taste: Smooth and full-bodied, with flavors of caramel, toffee, and a hint of spice.

Palate: Complex and well-balanced, with a creamy texture and a long, warming finish.

Lively, aromatic, and grain-forward, with bright notes of red fruits, black currant, and roasted caraway seeds. Lots of depth on the palate, with baked raspberry and blackberry notes. It’s hot and spicy, but water quells it without losing the spice explosion, red berry notes, and roasted rye. Warm and more mellow on the finish, with excellent integration of oak, coffee, and bitter chocolate. Spice and tartness, with ably balanced fruit.

Matured wholly in air-dried, hand-selected ex-bourbon casks, the 'unashamedly excellent' Old Pulteney 12-years-old is the definitive expression in the Old Pulteney family.
Traditionally crafted using techniques that other distillers have long abandoned, this winner of numerous gold medals at the most prestigious international competitions is a high water-mark of quality spirits. Deep amber, red golden (with a slight pink hue) sparkling with a copper glow. Medium to high intensity with a briny hint of sea air.

This expression replaces the previous 17 year old, and has been aged in bourbon and second-fill American oak casks, followed by a period in first-fill Spanish oak oloroso butts. Sherry is immediately obvious on the nose, with fresh-baked fruitcake aromas, honey, and allspice. The palate is sweet and spicy, with Jaffa orange segments dipped in sea salt, toffee, and dark chocolate. Orange and oak in the medium-length finish.

Old Vines In Young Hands Red is a vibrant, medium-bodied Portuguese wine from the Douro Valley, produced by Adega Vila Real.
