In the Mosel dialect, "Dajoar" translates to "as in the old days". This was the name chosen by Andreas for a style of Riesling made in tribute to the classic Mosel wines of the past. It is off-dry with a playful sweetness that balances its crisp acidity, resulting in a bright and fresh wine with notes of green and yellow fruit, a strong mid-palate, and a long mineral finish. It's a delightful wine that offers great value.

Family farmed since 1956 The Stewart Family is one of the "originals" in the Okanagan Valley. The winery was built in 1989 with vineyards stones throw away from Lake Okanagan. This Reserve Chardonnay, their flagship white wine, is grown on the volcanic soils of Mt. Boucherie. Sophisticated and elegant, it's a full-bodied white with aromas of vanilla bean, butterscotch, and toasted hazelnut; further enhanced with a creamy mouth feel of stone fruits, crème brulee and vanilla yogurt.

Antoniolo Erbaluce di Caluso is a bright yellow wine with pale green reflections in the glass. The nose is very floral, with jasmine, green apple and apricot. The palate is crisp and very fine, elegant, with very tasty acidity. Strong mineral core, very refreshing.

The Vietti Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Derthona, aged in a mix of oak and ceramic tile-lined cement, is a wine with impressive tension and ample texture. Its contrasting elements create a broad, horizontal profile with wide appeal. The bouquet reveals notes of orchard fruit, saffron, honey, and crushed stone. Medium-bodied, this wine will evolve gracefully over the next 10 years, developing more complex aromas of minerals, beeswax, and dried fruit.

Before nearing extinction, this grape was brought back to life by Walter Massa, knowing there was great potential. The grape ages remarkably well and will resemble a dry Riesling with five years of age or more. This single vineyard of Costa del Vento shows aromas and flavours of white flowers, stone fruits, and bright citrus. It will always have high acidity and be voluptuous. These wines can sometimes border on feeling "alcoholic" so chill to temper and decant for best tasting experience.

This white wine is 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the prestigious Charlemagne vineyard in the village of Aloxe-Corton of Burgundy. The nose is intense with notes of lemon curd, citrus pith, nutmeg and rich, nutty complexity. The palate is mouth-filling with balanced acidity and a spicy, smooth, long finish. This white wine will only get better with age. Pair with cauliflower puree, braised fennel and sea scallops.

Sauvignon Blanc is much loved for its freshness, mouth watering acidity and upfront fruit. This is a full, richer style of Sauvignon Blanc. The vintage in stock was an excellent white wine vintage. It has the freshness of the cool growing season combined with the fruit expression of a warm end to the vintage and moderate alcohols thanks to the higher yields. Tropical fruits, with underlying tones of pineapple and passion fruit on a fresh, crisp and palate with prodigious length.

"Solo Sole" means "only sun" in Italian and the grape Vermentino loves the sun soaked coast of Bolgheri in Tuscany and it embodies the colours, fragrances and flavours of these lands that lie so close to the sea. Notes of peach and apricot are accompanied by zesty acidity and that ever present Vermentino saline tang.

Canadian Robert Tome learned his craft of hospitality in Italy, studying with the Italian Sommelier Association. He opened his own import agency, which quickly became one of the largest agencies in Canada representing some iconic Italian wineries. In 2017, Robert decided to challenge himself to do more and give more with a new endeavor. He sold his shares and branched out on his own to launch Tomé Group of Brands, his own wine brand making wines from Washington State and Italy. This vegan-friendly Pinot Grigio is clean and crisp, layered with notes of apple, pear, almond, and white nectarine with a twinkle of acidity. This is a great match with seafood, pasta with cream sauce, oyster, asparagus and summer salads.

This delicious Vinho Verde is a mix of three traditional grape varieties: Alvarinho, Loureiro, Trajadura. At 12.5 percent, it is light on its feet, and with bright acidity, it is vibrant. The fruit is grown on granite giving the wine all the minerality it needs to shine, and the flavours are very VV. It goes through a classic white wine ferment leaving a fruity white reminiscent of fresh tropical fruits and white flowers. Antonio Fattori's passion for winemaking traces back to his family's legacy, with roots planted in the early 1900s by his grandfather, who returned from WWI to restore vineyards devastated by phylloxera. Today, the Fattori family continues this tradition, crafting expressive and intriguing wines in Veneto. Their white wines, grown on basalt slopes in the alpine valley, showcase a distinct minerality. Their Soave, made from the Garganega grape, is a dry white wine renowned for its vibrant citrus and honeydew melon notes, accented by a subtle hint of macadamia nut. Easy-drinking and delightful, it captures the essence of the region.

One of the original producers that grows Trebbiano Abruzzese, one of the few quality grapes of the Trebbiano group. There is not much of this exported and even fewer bottles of the Montepulciano. Francesco Valentini and his son are the only humans allowed in the cellar as Francesco never wants to introduce foreign microbes or yeasts to interfere with the ageing of the wine. These are some of the most ageable white wines in the world and in fact, could be considered “unicorns” as they are hard to find here in Canada.  Truly collectible.

Barnard Griffin Winery began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar, the dream of founders Deborah Barnard and Rob Griffin. It has since become one of Washington's most enduring and award-winning wineries. Eve Michel Rey Pouilly-Fuissé En Buland 2018 is a white wine from the Burgundy region of France. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine has a pale gold color with a bouquet of delicate floral and fruity aromas. On the palate, it is round and well-balanced with flavors of white peaches and a hint of minerality. The wine has a fresh and long finish with a subtle acidity. This wine pairs well with seafood, shellfish, and white meats.

This IGT Toscana Bianco white wine from Tuscany, Italy, blends Malvasia Bianca, Trebbiano, and Chardonnay from the I Colli Estate, located in Monteriggioni and Vagliagli, part of the Bindi Sergardi family’s historic estate, founded in the late 1400s. With a white paper color and golden reflections, it offers an intense bouquet of peach, melon, and pear. On the palate, it’s fresh, savoury, and well-balanced with good acidity, fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain its vibrant character.

The Ramato style of Pinot Grigio has become very popular, this mutation of pinot noir giving off an orange/copper hue when the juice is in contact with the skins. The nose shows floral notes of wisteria, orange blossom, acacia flowers with ripe fruity hints of yellow peach, melon and tangerine, followed by a delicate mineral iodine note and hints of hay. The mouthfeel shows crisp acidity, yet perfectly balanced by its freshness and enveloping flavour.

In 2021, the vines of Cos d’Estournel Blanc yielded a graceful wine that is rich and finely structured, thanks in part to their ongoing ability to delve deeper in the estate’s soils but also thanks to the breezes of the nearby Gironde Estuary and the ongoing efforts of the estate’s teams. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are concentrated but balanced by the natural vivacity of their terroir, while the Sémillon —whose distinct mineral character derives from the limestone in the vineyard’s soils– are once again used in a larger proportion in the final blend. Extremely complex, Cos d’Estournel Blanc 2021 is a magnificent, harmonious expression of white peach, rose, bergamot, lemon, and flint. Remarkable energy accompanies a rich, precise palette of aromas, resulting in an accomplished, fascinating wine with great cellaring potential.

This 'classic' Margaret River wine exemplifies ease of drinking and purity, boasting a delightful crunchiness and fruit-forward character. It offers a lip-smacking dryness, balanced by crisp acidity, culminating in a clean and refreshing finish that leaves the palate invigorated.

From bush vines planted in 1956, this was whole bunch pressed, only the free run juice was used for natural fermentation in 3rd-fill French oak barrels. Natural style, with that hint of funk and light earthiness, lightly nutty. Lots of sour and juicy apple. Very nice fruit that becomes sweet like Mandarin and even nectarine, fully ripe, but that dry savoury acidity punches through and balances beautifully.

Pale straw yellow, with greenish hues. The nose is full of different inspirations: cedar, green apple, lemon, lime. Slightly smoky, with refreshing chalky aromas. The palate is rich, with a tingly acidity. Long and elegant mineral finish.

The white grape of Verdicchio makes a surprisingly delicious sparkling wine! Made in the Martinotti method (tank), the wine is finished as extra brut and is dry in the mouth with fine bubbles and notes of lemon curd, sweet almond and sponge toffee.

Philippe and Valerie Bassereau (4th generation) have been managing the Chateau de la Graves estate since 1990 in one of the more unknown appellations of Bordeaux: Cotes de Bourg (on the right bank opposite of Margaux). Here they specialize in the ancient Colombard grape, blended with Semillon for the white wines, and Merlot dominated reds. This gorgeous white wine is a blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Colombard that blends acacia flowers, nutmeg spice and lemony citrus that pairs well with many seafood dishes, both grilled and raw!

This low acid, full bodied grape can be hard to make wine from, as it can be flabby if grapes are not harvested enough to maintain the acidity. The Paul Mas Viognier offers typical Viognier qualities of stone fruit and floral notes. Elegant and balanced, it is a solid option for grilled pork or chicken.

Michel Rey Pouilly Fuisse La Marechaude is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Pouilly-Fuisse subregion of Burgundy. The wine has a bright, golden color and a complex bouquet of ripe fruit, including peach, apricot, and tropical fruit, with hints of vanilla and toast. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of stone fruit and citrus, balanced by a refreshing acidity and a long, lingering finish. This wine pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy sauces.

Maculan Vespaiolo is a white wine made from Vespaiola- a grape variety named after "Vespa", meaning wasps, for the creatures love of the sweet nectar of the grapes. Maculan is a three generation family owned winery located in Breganze in northern Italy. The wine boasts fresh aromatics of stone fruit, honey and orange blossom. One might think this wine will be sweet, but itis dry with a lovely balance between its full-bodied mouthfeel and crisp acidity. Serve with roasted vegetables or fish dishes

Domaine Jacques Prieur Beaune-Grèves 1er Cru Blanc is a classic, elegant Chardonnay from Burgundy, offering a blend of ripe orchard fruits (apple, pear, peach), citrus (lemon), and floral notes, with toasty hints of vanilla, almond, and flint from oak aging, featuring a vibrant acidity, good tension, and a long, mineral, refreshing finish, pairing well with rich fish, poultry in creamy sauces, or truffle dishes. 

Stags' Leap Napa Valley Chardonnay is a rich, full-bodied white wine featuring a creamy texture and bright, balanced acidity. It typically offers aromas of lemon crème, white pineapple, and toasted brioche, with flavors of Golden Delicious apple, Asian pear, and lemon curd, finishing with subtle vanilla and flinty minerality.

A "Spotlight Viognier," often from producers like Play Estate, is a vibrant, aromatic white wine known for floral notes (honeysuckle, rose), stone fruits (peach, apricot, nectarine), tropical hints, and a full, sometimes creamy body with low acidity, balancing rich flavors with a fresh palate, excellent with spicy Asian, creamy chicken, or pork dishes. 

Château de Montfrin has been in Jean-René de Fleurieu’s family since 1925 when his grandfather purchased the château and the vineyards. Jean-René took over in 2004 and today is supported by his daughter Aurore and Estate Manager Benjamin Beguin in the operation of the winery and its 100 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. In addition to vineyards, the estate also has olive groves. Looking after the land is a love affair for Jean-René and Benjamin. This is where they grew up, established roots and feel at home. The vineyards are spread out and are located in four different appellations: Pont du Gard, Costières de Nîmes, Côtes du Rhône, and Côtes du Rhône Villages. The vines grow in hallowed farmland made up of contrasting terrain, from the vast silty soils of the plains along the majestic Rhône to the sunny hillside of its banks and the stony plateaus of its now abandoned riverbeds.

This wine is a harmonious blend of perfectly ripened Grenache Blanc and Rousanne grapes grown on the pebbly terrain that radiates the warmth that builds up during the day. Well integrated acidity and slight undertones of oak create a very versatile and easy to enjoy wine for a multitude of occasions.

Signature Brands is operated by the father and son team of Marius Sr. and Marius Jr. Burger. They are integral members of South Africa’s Old Vine Project, an initiative started in 2002 by the iconic Vineyard Manager Rosa Kruger. Under Rosa’s guidance, growers with old vines get paired with winemakers who share their passion of not preserving South Africa’s old vines, but to manage them in such a way that they will consistently produce superior fruit to sustain their future.

The 1983 refers to the age of the vines. Grapes are carefully selected and hand harvested. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine stayed on its lees for three months. A small portion of the wine was then barrel aged for added complexity and richness.

This wine offers fragrant aromas of tropical and stone fruits, leading to rich, layered flavors of white peach, pineapple, and citrus, with a subtle touch of vanilla on the finish. It is pleasantly fresh with a lingering aftertaste, and the complexity and structure from old vineyard fruit promise excellent aging potential in the bottle.
