This preparation is a tribute to the Mexican god Ometeo who reconciles what could be the opposite.

Made with 10 botanicals, this gin highlights, as a central ingredient, the Jalisco lime that offers unique characteristics to the distillate.

Ometeo gin is a mixture that exalts Mexican culture. A fresh and intense drink that is shared. Because we take the best of the past and give it a twist to renew a classic drink.

The aroma of this wine is rich with succulent dark berries, plums, and mulberries, enticingly accompanied by deeper notes of cinnamon, clove, and vanilla. On the palate, it showcases a robust and full-bodied character, with firm yet smooth tannins leading to a long and satisfying finish, featuring hints of woodsmoke and sweet spice.

A mild and very wet winter led to an early and even budbreak. The damp weather lasted all the way through Spring accompanied by some very cool temperatures. Miraculously, full flowering took place between the 7th and the 11th of June which was a 5-day period of lovely weather and relatively hot temperatures. These conditions encouraged a quick and uniform flowering followed by a good return of fruit. The midpoint of the colour change of the berries happened around the 10th of August, with excellent uniformity across all the grape varieties. Despite these unpredictable swings of Nature; the heat and the absence of rain, the vines could maintain a healthy foliage right up to the beginning of the harvest thanks both to the water reserves and to the ploughing of the plots. Harvesting started 8 days late. Light showers at the beginning of September and a lovely Indian summer during the picking meant that all the grape varieties achieved perfect ripeness and a healthy condition placing the 2016 vintage among the great vintages.

The enchanting Montepulciano d'Abruzzo casts its spell with a timeless blend of crushed rocks, violets, lavender, delicate hints of blood orange, and nuanced strawberry notes. Its textured, ripe wild berry flavors embrace the palate, leading to a delightful mineral essence that adds a satisfying crunch towards the finish. The wine maintains its elegance throughout, concluding with a lightly structured yet concentrated profile, accompanied by captivating floral aromas that linger astonishingly long. Pale straw yellow, with greenish hues. The nose is full of different inspirations: cedar, green apple, lemon, lime. Slightly smoky, with refreshing chalky aromas. The palate is rich, with a tingly acidity. Long and elegant mineral finish.

"Potazzine" refers to colourful and vivacious birds which inhabit the Tuscany countryside. The property is owned by Gigliola Giannetti who created the winery in 1993 upon the birth of her first daughter and further expanded it another 2ha three years later after the birth of her second daughter.  Potazzine is also a term of endearment given to children by parents and grandparents and it was Gigliola’s mother who affectionately gave this nickname to the two girls.  These prestigious wines are made using natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts, long macerations and ageing in Slavonian oak for 40 months resulting in wines with smooth tannins. The nose is fruity and floral with notes of red cherry, and violets, defined by savoury tomato leaf, balsamic and spice notes for a beautifully balanced wine.

This delightful wine presents a beautiful blend of scents, where the fragrance of rose petals and acacia intertwines with the sweet allure of creamed honey, fresh pears, apricots, and yellow apples. Upon tasting, it delights the palate with abundant juicy fruit and sweet citrus flavours, creating a delightful and refreshing experience.

The white grape of Verdicchio makes a surprisingly delicious sparkling wine! Made in the Martinotti method (tank), the wine is finished as extra brut and is dry in the mouth with fine bubbles and notes of lemon curd, sweet almond and sponge toffee.

Winegrowers since 1860, Domaine Barge continues its family owned business with 5.7 ha in Cote-Rotie, 1 ha in Condrieu and 1.5ha in Saint-Joseph. A typical Cote-Rotie with 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier delivers a refined, classic nose of raspberries, pepper, and a touch of cedar and spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity and grip.This has the elegant profile one finds often in bottlings made exclusively from the Côte Blonde vineyard of Cote-Rotie.

Philippe and Valerie Bassereau (4th generation) have been managing the Chateau de la Graves estate since 1990 in one of the more unknown appellations of Bordeaux: Cotes de Bourg (on the right bank opposite of Margaux). Here they specialize in the ancient Colombard grape, blended with Semillon for the white wines, and Merlot dominated reds. This gorgeous white wine is a blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Colombard that blends acacia flowers, nutmeg spice and lemony citrus that pairs well with many seafood dishes, both grilled and raw!

Like many South African estates, they are owned by Italians, and Morgenster is no exception! Purchased in 1992 by Giulio Bertrand, this founder fell in love with this 300 year old estate. Today it is run by mother and daughter team of Federica and Vittoria. The Reserve is the crown jewel of blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It has classic aromas of dark berries, black plums and cassis. Pure harmony as these classic Bordeaux varieties come together to create this beautiful, well-structured wine.

Bodega Foster Lorca is a partnership of Enrique Foster and Mauricio Lorca located in Lujan de Coyo in Mendoza. The winery has been designed to produce Argentinean wines of great character with the guiding principle of producing wines that reflect Argentine terroir. Made using traditional Charmat method, the Lois was left sur lie for six months to combine a complex style with freshness redolent of cherries bursting from the tiny bubbles.

Isola Augusta (Augusta Island) was acquired in 1959 by Renzo Bassani, who fell in love with this land, renovating old vineyards to start producing wines. The Bassani family was one of the first in the region to replace the chemical interventions in the wines with physical processes, controlling the fermentation of the musts with the cold technique. In 1972, son Massimo took over, constructing new buildings and establishing modern techniques.Today Isola Augusta is a combination of both modern and traditional.

On the nose, it has aromas of dark fruit, vanilla, and spice, while on the palate, it is full-bodied with flavors of black cherry, plum, and tobacco. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and elegant finish. This wine is a perfect pairing for hearty meat dishes, such as grilled steak or roasted lamb.

The Vettoretti family owns 32ha in the prestigious Valdobbiadene DOCG zone of Prosecco prodcution, as well as property in the Treviso DOC. All fruit used in their wine is estate grown and hand harvested. This unique blend of Merlot and Incrocio Manzoni (Incrocio means "crossing" and is a a crossing of Raboso and Muscat of Hamburg) is fruity with hints of strawberry, raspberry and hints of pepper and sage. Tangy acidity makes for a great match with strawberry risotto, and cream pastries.

The region of Patagonia in the southern tip of Argentina has become more well known for cold climate winemaking in recent years. Bodega Noemia Malbec comes from a small 1.5 ha vineyard of pre-phylloxera vines planted in 1932. The wine is well-balanced and elegant with well integrated intense dark fruit notes with hints of dark chocolate , coffee and spice. Full-bodied with a persistent, long finish.

Individual rows are chosen by hand, and fruit is selected and separated to preserve the unique flavours. Indigenous yeasts are used and time on the lees allows for earthy flavours and lovelu textures to emerge. The final wines are rich and complex with the perfect amount of oak. The Pinot Noir has a fragrant, savoury, and slightly herbal bouquet. On the palate it has concentrated plum, herb and spice flavours, smooth tannins and balanced acidity.

In the heart of Willamette Valley, Iris Vineyards on 870 acres features over 10 acres of Pinot Gris vines. Dry farmed for concentrated berries, this Pinot Gris has aromas of Asian pear and pineapple with a lively balanced palate of yellow apple and grapefruit. The versatility of this wine allows it to pair well with white fish, scallops, and yellow curry. A quality pinot gris from a quality area.

The Vettoretti family owns 32ha in the prestigious Valdobbiadene DOCG zone of Prosecco prodcution, as well as property in the Treviso DOC. The Alne Extra Dry is made from 95% Glera with 5% Chardonnay, it's slightly off dry with creamy bubbles and mouthfeel. Excellent on its own or use in Prosecco cocktails like Aperol Spritz and Bellini.

From one of the only wineries located within the Parco Nazionale, this is the top wine of the Pasetti line. With six years of ageing combined with stainless steel, new oak and in bottle, this intense, complex, full-bodied wine is a stunning example of ripe red cherry, and plum, accompanied by hints of violet and dried red flowers. Further flavours of stewed cherries, plums, spice, licorice and coffee that gives great complexity, structure, depth and elegance. A truly fascinating wine.

Local Edmonton brewery Trial and Ale is well known for artisinal wild and sour ales. The Equatorial Detour is a fruited America sour wild ale made from tropical fruits. A mixed fermentation blend showcasing a playful series of handoffs between the tart, medium acidity our blends are known for, a firm funk background, and the expressive nature of fruit only the tropics can produce.

The Vignobles Dubard Estate, founded in 1977 by two brothers and their sister, now brings together four dynamic family-owned wineries located on the right bank of the river Dordogne in the South West of France: Chateau Laulerie, Chateau Les Farcies du Pech, Chateau La Croix Romane, and Chateau Bel-Air/ Vieux Barrail. This is malbec as it's meant to be: distinctive aromas of spice and herbs, elegantly structured, memorable.

With a blend of tropical fruit aromas including pineapple, banana, and ripe mango, complemented by notes of peaches and pears, the nose of the Montes Alpha Chardonnay  is intense and complex. Hints of grapefruit and white asparagus contribute to the coastal climate's influence on the wine. The palate offers a smooth and balanced acidity, leading to a fresh wine with ample volume. The elegant finish is long-lasting and leaves a pleasant aftertaste, making it hard to resist another glass.

Passopisciaro is a small area (the name of a town) on Mt.Etna's north face on the property of the late Andrea Franchetti. Soils from this active volcano provides resulting wine with a vein of minerality that speaks of the terroir of this prestigious region. Rampante sits at 1000m asl and produces one of the finest, most aromatic of the volcano wines due to the sandy content in the soil. Dried flowers, smoke, sour cherries, and exotic spices dominate. It is the winery's most rarified and ethereal expression of Nerello Mascalese. Stunning.

This powerful "Super Tuscan" is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Located in the heart of Chianti Classico, the passion for Bordeaux and its wines was the inspiration for creating these blends. Careful grape selection, ageing in French barrique and sure lie, gives these wines depth of character and rich and exotic textures. In the bottle you will find notes of blackberry, cassis, plum and violet wrapped up in spice, leather, and cedar. Decant for optimal experience or lay down for a few years. Stunning wine.

This low acid, full bodied grape can be hard to make wine from, as it can be flabby if grapes are not harvested enough to maintain the acidity. The Paul Mas Viognier offers typical Viognier qualities of stone fruit and floral notes. Elegant and balanced, it is a solid option for grilled pork or chicken.

Vitovska is a native grape only found in the Friuli Venezia-Giulia region in northeast Italy. And within the region, it is only grown in Friuli Carso where it loves the iron rich soils which produce wines of incredible minerality.

Born in Prepotto, Benjamin Zidarich's Zidarich winery fully represents the love for the Carso. The result is his wines, strongly based on the characteristics of the vine and the territory. Zidarich pay the utmost attention to the balance of the development of the vines, with maximum respect for naturalness as well as its natural wines. Vitovska is a white grape indigenous to Carso and grows nowhere else in Italy. This could be considered an "orange wine" due to skin contact during fermentation. This is a white wine with tannins and has a "grip" of oranges, rose petal and crushed rock. Lovely structure with a saline tang on the finish. A rare, unique wine indeed.

The S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and complex with aromas of currants, violets, and dusty cocoa powder. Generous dark fruit flavors dominate the palate and meld with hints of graphite. The tannins are structured but have a soft edge, and the Napa Cabernet finishes with a dark chocolate note.

Mazzolino Pinot Noir Oltrepo Pavese DOC  is a medium-bodied red wine with a ruby red color and an elegant bouquet of red fruits, cherries, and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced with a long finish. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled. This Pinot Noir pairs well with roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses.

We don’t often think about Nebbiolo outside of Barolo or Barbaresco, but the northern region of Gattinara is a quality region growing points-worthy Spanna, as it is known here. Elegant with aromas and flavours of dried roses, raspberry jam and hints of toasted nuts and vanilla. If you’ve never tried Nebbiolo from Northern Piemonte, this is a good place to start. 

This wine shows an earthy but fresh nose which evolves into fruity glimpses on the palate. The flavors' weight, from light to medium, contribute to a beautiful balance and length, one of the best in its range.

Aromas of sweet cherries, currants, loamy soil and espresso roast introduce the 2017 Pommard 1er Cru Clos de Verger, a medium to full-bodied, supple and open-knit wine that will drink well out of the gates. The character of the vintage emphasizes the charm that wines from this site often display. -WA

Michel Rey Pouilly Fuisse La Marechaude is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Pouilly-Fuisse subregion of Burgundy. The wine has a bright, golden color and a complex bouquet of ripe fruit, including peach, apricot, and tropical fruit, with hints of vanilla and toast. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of stone fruit and citrus, balanced by a refreshing acidity and a long, lingering finish. This wine pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy sauces.

Maculan Vespaiolo is a white wine made from Vespaiola- a grape variety named after "Vespa", meaning wasps, for the creatures love of the sweet nectar of the grapes. Maculan is a three generation family owned winery located in Breganze in northern Italy. The wine boasts fresh aromatics of stone fruit, honey and orange blossom. One might think this wine will be sweet, but itis dry with a lovely balance between its full-bodied mouthfeel and crisp acidity. Serve with roasted vegetables or fish dishes

Louis Latour's vineyards cover 50 ha and includes the largest collection of Grand Cru in Burgundy, not to mention a name synonymous with quality. En Chevret vineyard is located in the Volnay appellation; an eastern exposition located close to Mersault. It has a bright ruby color and aromas of red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, as well as floral and spice notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-structured, with flavors of ripe fruit, earth, and subtle oak nuances. This is an elegant wine with supple tannins and a round, slightly woody finish.
