Chalk soils have long been considered one of the key resources enabling the Champagne region to produce such intense and refined wines. Aiming to highlight this relationship, Andre Clouet have released a new wine in their range further dialling up the crisp and salty flavours so prevalent in wines from these chalk rich soils. As a 100% Chardonnay cuvee, this initial release of "Chalky" is entirely from the outstanding 2013 vintage, with vineyard sources one third from the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, and two thirds on the Cote de Blancs. After pressing, fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks before being aged for seven years in the bottle, disgorged early in 2021 with 6g/L dosage. Expect a lively, salty, mineral inflected wine that is a perfect aperitif or wine to drink alongside fresh oysters.

This fresh and juicy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Saperavi,displays a lovely garnet color with ruby reflections. Distinctive notes of plum in the bouquet and chocolate aroma. Smooth, soft finish with well ntegrated tannins.

A blended whisky from Suntory's three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Toki has a different composition to another Suntory blend, Hibiki, as its main components are Hakashu single malt and Chita grain whisky. It should work really well in a highball.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Elegant and floral with light oak notes, vanilla, raisins, toffee apples, citrus peel and a hint of lime.

Palate: A delicate smooth single malt with honeyed fruits, vanilla, cinnamon spice and a hint of nutmeg.

Clos de los Siete is a red wine produced in the Mendoza region of Argentina. The wine is a blend of several grape varieties, including Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.

The name "Clos de los Siete" refers to a group of seven vineyards that were established in the late 1990s by Michel Rolland, a renowned Bordeaux-based winemaker. The vineyards are located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, at an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level.

The wine is known for its rich, complex flavor profile, with notes of dark fruit, spices, and chocolate. It has a full-bodied texture and a long, smooth finish. Clos de los Siete is typically aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months before being bottled.

North America's first single malt whisky distillery. A single malt from this side of the sea, aged 10 years in oak barrels. The crystal clear water from Maclellan's Brook flows from the Mabou highlands located above Glenora distillery, giving Glen Breton its classic and pure taste. Produced by the traditional copper pot stills methods using only three ingredients: barley, yeast and water.

Tasting Notes: on the nose it is medium-bodied and pleasantly fiery, offering a tight combination of butterscotch, heather, honey and ground, with wood-infused undertones. finishes long and smooth.

Ron Zacapa XO is a premium Guatemalan rum, a blend of rums aged between 6 and 25 years using the Sistema Solera method. It's known for its complex flavor profile, achieved through aging in a variety of barrels: American whiskey, charred American whiskey, Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximenez sherry, and finally, cognac casks. This results in a rich, smooth rum with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and sherry.

The oldest soils can be found in the Rothenberg area. They are of volcanic origin. The vineyard has several terraces. This Riesling grows on particularly old vines on these steps. Aromas of peaches and apricots. Emphatically mineral, with acidity. Very good with Asian dishes.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream is a sweet, rich, and creamy liqueur made by blending Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon with rich cream. Macaloney's "The Peat Project - WA RW 46%" is a Canadian single malt whisky that is part of a single cask series, known for balancing intense peat smoke from Washington State with fruity notes derived from maturation in a Portuguese re-charred red wine (RW) barrique. The whisky has a substantial peat smoke content of 54 PPM (parts per million).
