Fresh, balanced and with fine but compact tannins, this Rioja is chiefly made up of Tempranillo. It seduces thanks to its aromatic profile evoking roasting, coconut and cherry. It comes from a cellar in Mendavia famous for its complex and intense wines.

The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.

The Pinot Noir boasts rich, ripe flavors with a sophisticated aftertaste, making it a surprising standout among red wines produced in Germany. Its warm, berry notes make it perfect for relaxing with a good book by the fireplace, where its light smoky taste complements the scents of a crackling fire. This wine pairs well with wild game, venison, and cedar-plank salmon.

This whisky is an ex-Bourbon cask finish and is bottled at 46% abv, and is the first time Penderyn have released a core range single malt using mainly spirit from the pot stills, which we introduced in 2014.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Elegant and floral with light oak notes, vanilla, raisins, toffee apples, citrus peel and a hint of lime.

Palate: A delicate smooth single malt with honeyed fruits, vanilla, cinnamon spice and a hint of nutmeg.

Finish: Soft honey and vanilla notes fade to a malty finish.

Winemaker Notes : The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper, and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet. The seamlessly layered flavors build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy black-fruit, accented with hints of orange zest, licorice, and dark chocolate. Beautifully balanced, the smooth round tannins and fresh acidity combine to create a soft, creamy mouthfeel and extend the flavors into a long persistent finish.

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength (BP) at 62.5% ABV is an intense, high-proof Tennessee whiskey bottled straight from individual barrels, showcasing bold flavors of vanilla, toasted oak, sweet brown sugar, caramel, and dark spices, with notes of fruit and nuts, offering a rich, smooth, and powerful sipping experience unlike the standard JD, thanks to its high proof and selection from upper rickhouse barrels.

Magnus Monte Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry red wine from Romania's Dealu Mare region, known for its complex aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and dark fruit, along with cedar, tobacco, and spicy notes. It features a deep color, balanced palate with silky tannins and medium body, and a long, elegant finish with well-integrated acidity. La Fée Parisienne is an all-natural absinthe distilled in France, featuring a classic strength of 68% ABV. The 2018 Cosecha bottling is crafted from over-ripe Highland pinto Blue Weber agave cultivated at an altitude of 5,019 feet in the mineral-rich CALICHE soil of Vista Hermosa, Micohoacán, the southernmost region within the D.O. Deep, dark ruby-red is not quite opaque. The nose is classic for Lafite, with meaty notes to the dark fruit complimenting cedary oak. The aromas are deep & brooding. Cassis & dark fruit on the palate is overlaid by coffee notes & plentiful cedar. There is excellent freshness. There is a good concentration of deep, dark fruit supported by fine tannins. Alcohol is balanced & the finish is long. This is a nice classic example of Lafite.
