Eve Michel Rey Pouilly-Fuissé En Buland 2018 is a white wine from the Burgundy region of France. Danimi Votiva Campi Taurasini DOC is a red wine produced by Danimi winery in the Campania region of Italy. A Votiva is an offering to the gods. The figurine depicted on the bottles of Votiva are inspired by similar objects found in the heart of Irpinia where the ancients worshipped the Goddess Mefite and made offerings to appease her. This is the 'cru' line that represents the strength of the Irpinian territory and identity. The Colpetrone Antica Chiusina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a full-bodied red wine that offers intense aromas of dark fruit, leather, and spice. Barbacan Sforzato 2018 is a red wine from the Valtellina subregion of Lombardy, Italy. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes (known locally as Chiavennasca), the wine undergoes a unique drying process for several months prior to fermentation, resulting in a concentrated and complex flavor profile. Tangs of struck flint and lime zest introduce this richly concentrated yet zesty Chardonnay sourced from vineyards adjacent to the Grand Cru of Le Montrachet. It was formerly called "Les serpentines" after the name of a species of snake that could often be seen in the summer on the hot and stony Burgundy lands. Made with 100% Pinot Noir, the wine has a complex bouquet of dark fruit, including black cherry, blackberry, and plum, with hints of earth, spice, and leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with rich flavors of black fruit with a backbone of firm tannins with a long, lingering finish.

Marguet Shaman Blanc NV Zero Dosage is a Champagne made by Benoit Marguet using organic and biodynamic farming practices. It is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, and is aged on lees for at least 18 months. The wine has no added sugar, resulting in a zero dosage Champagne with a bone-dry, crisp taste. It has a delicate aroma with notes of citrus, green apple, and brioche, and a lively, refreshing acidity. This Champagne pairs well with seafood, shellfish, and light appetizers.

Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes, with a small proportion of still red wine added to give it its delicate pink color. The wine is aged for three years on its lees to develop its complex aromas and flavors. It offers a nose of red fruit, such as strawberries and raspberries, with notes of brioche and vanilla. On the palate, it is creamy and full-bodied, with a lively acidity and a long, persistent finish. Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a luxurious and elegant champagne that is perfect for special occasions, as well as for pairing with seafood, sushi, or light desserts.

TWA x Heads and Tails is a collaboration between two independent spirits producers, The Whisky Agency (TWA) and Heads and Tails, both based in different parts of the world. TWA is a German independent bottler known for its exceptional whiskies, while Heads and Tails is a craft distillery based in Venezuela.

The collaboration resulted in the creation of a limited edition rum called Canada - Venezuelan, which is a blend of Canadian and Venezuelan rums. The Canadian component of the blend was distilled in 2011 and aged in ex-bourbon casks for 7 years, while the Venezuelan component was distilled in 2008 and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 12 years.

The Canada - Venezuelan rum was then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask for a few months, which added a rich and complex sweetness to the final product. The rum was bottled at cask strength (56.1% ABV) and only 230 bottles were produced.

The Canada - Venezuelan rum is highly sought after by rum enthusiasts and has received high praise from critics. It is known for its complex and layered flavor profile, featuring notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, coffee, and spices, with a long and satisfying finish.

Overall, TWA x Heads and Tails Canada - Venezuelan rum is an excellent example of the art of blending and a testament to the skill and expertise of the two producers involved in its creation.

Regenerate response

Sparkly red currant tones give pause while admiring this wine in the glass. Fruit-packed, it exhibits the best characteristics of a young Sancerre Rosé, with raspberry and wild peach aromas. Complete and round in the mouth, it opens up gradually, with a fresh liveliness being tempered by a hint of tannins. It finishes on fruity notes (black currant, raspberry) with a long, pretty aftertaste of citrus fruits.

Château des Quarts was created in 2012 through a joint partnership between two old friends, Dominique Lafon and Olivier Merlin.

For over a decade, Olivier had tasked himself with sourcing and making wine from the best sites within Pouilly-Fuissé and bottling them under his own label. After buying grapes from Clos des Quarts for several vintages, he was first approached with the news that it was for sale. Having been already convinced of the terroir's integrity he jumped on the opportunity.

The vineyard is located in Chaintré, the southernmost village of Pouilly-Fuissé. At just over 2 hectares, the oldest vines are almost a century old and are planted on clay-limestone soils.

On the nose, Champerrrier has a bouquet of red and black fruit aromas, with notes of cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, and a hint of spice. Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Crots is a red wine from the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy, France. The wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Les Crots vineyard, which is known for producing complex and elegant wines. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of red berries, cherries, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with flavors of raspberry, blackcurrant, and a touch of earthy minerality. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to a decade to allow its flavors to further develop.

Rock Angel has a more complex and structured taste profile than Whispering Angel bringing it into a more premium realm, giving rosé lovers a bigger and richer wine. If you like the minerality of a Sancerre, you will love this wine.

Aroma: Delicate red berry aromas with mineral notes, along with floral hints and a subtle spice.

Burrowing Owl's flagship blend opens on aromas of cassis, red currant, burlap, roasted red pepper, chocolate, paprika and some pretty violet floral notes in the background along with a hint of toasty oak. The Vinum Cellars Red Dirt Red begins with a pleasing aroma of red cherry, cranberry and baking spice. The wine tastes of plum and cherry and features lots of earthy, meaty and mineral notes along with touches of balsamic and black olive plus more baking spice. Smoky, almost mesquite like notes lead into the long dry finish. With plenty of complexity and lots of layers to discover, this is an excellent choice. The addition of Petite Sirah (which actually originated in the Rhone but isn't grown there today) works quite well with the GSM.
