Named for the giant old-growth Douglas fir sitting right at the top of the vineyard, Old Firs is a study in terroir. No matter the length of the growing season, nor the size of crop, Old Firs always has a hallmark salinity backed with a ton of power and intensity. The furthest west of all our plantings Old Firs Block is constantly in a deluge of fog and cold Pacific winds. The site speaks clearly year after year through both winemaking and vintage. This is one for the ages. 

This twisted bottle is unique to Brotte's Pere Anselme line, and this version, the reserve, is new to our market. A classic blend of Grenache and Syrah from low-yield vineyards. Dried cherries and prune plums, pipe tobacco and baking spices, raisins, balsamic, salted licorice and leather aromas lead to a smooth palate. Similar cherry and spice, leather, tobacco and coffee flavours appear in the mouth. It's got classic styling and is perfect for braised meat, stews, succulent bean casseroles, ratatouille

Pale lemon color. Classical Marlborough with aromas of grapefruit, lime and tropical notes underscored with complex hints of jalapeno and tomato leaf. Pure and concentrated with flavours of white peach, boxwood, citrus and wet river stone. The palate is concentrated yet elegant with flavour density and a lingering, textured finish.

Pairs well with: Seafood, summer salads and goat cheese.

Aromas of aniseed and lemon rind with dried apple and pear follow through to a full body. Yet, it's tight and layered with a compact palate and plenty of fruit. Needs time to open. Try after 2023.

Chassagne-Montrachet is located south of Puligny-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune and is one of Burgundy's greatest white wine appellations. It produces all appellations from the village to Grand Cru. The word Chassagne comes from either the Latin 'cassanea’, which means an oak wood, or 'cassanus’, which means oak. Until the late 19th century, the main settlement of this commune was known as Chassagne-le-Haut. However, in 1879, in common with other villages in the Côte d'Or, the village was allowed to change its name, replacing le Haut with the name of their most famous Grand Cru Montrachet. The village appellation covers just over half of Chassagne-Montrachet.

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a small intensity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wilted rose, lily and small notes of small wild red berries associated with fine touches of crunchy cherry, crunchy raspberry as well as fine hints of violet and Cuban pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality as well as a fine tension as well as a beautiful fat. In mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy red cherry, rose, lily and small notes of pistil associated with touches of plum, blackberry as well as fine hints of zan, tobacco, minerality/graphite and an imperceptible hint of mocha.

Michel Mallard'sLa Toppe au Vert extends over Corton hill's southeastern slope, the name referring to a "land of good exposure". This 100% pinot noirhas a deep ruby color and a complex bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, and earthy notes, with a touch of vanilla and spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with fine tannins and flavors of dark fruit, cherry, and hints of leather with fresh acidity and a long finish.

The Poggio Alle Gazze Toscana IGT Bianco is a showcase of Bolgheri’s best terroir and features mostly Sauvignon Blanc, but the final blend features different grape varieties every vintage. This wine has the addition of 11% Vermentino and 6% Viognier with the Sauvignon Blanc to show an array of both citrus and tropical fruit notes accompanied by floral notes and the quintessential fresh cut grass and asparagus aromas from the Sauvignon. Always refreshing with a delicate vanilla coming out on the palate and always showing the salty tang on the finish, giving this wine a true sense of place.

Sottimano is a family-run winery in the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont, Italy. The 2018 vintage of their single-vineyard Pajore Barbaresco is a beautiful expression of Nebbiolo, with aromas of red berries, rose petals, and tar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins and a long finish. This wine is still quite young and will benefit from some additional bottle aging, but it has already received high scores from wine critics, with Antonio Galloni of Vinous awarding it a score of 96/100.

Franz Haas Lagrein DOC is a red wine produced in the Valle Isarco subregion of Alto Adige, Italy, by the Franz Haas winery. Made entirely from the Lagrein grape variety, the wine exhibits a deep ruby red color with purple hues. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe dark berries, such as blackberries and blueberries, as well as notes of spices, such as black pepper and cloves. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured with fine tannins and a pleasant acidity, with flavors of dark fruit, chocolate and coffee. The wine has a persistent finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. It can be paired with roasted meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.

Cottà Barbaresco DOCG has liquorice notes and a light touch of smokiness. Dried roses dominate the floral scents. It remains delicate in the mouth and, yet, with plenty of aromatic persistence and well balanced tannins.

Since 1620, the Humbrecht family has been cultivating their wines in the great patchwork quilt terroirs of Alsace in northern France. Today, they own 42ha in several Grand Cru sites, including Rangen de Thann, the most southerly of the Alsace vineyards. The volcanic terroir of Rangen dominates the aromatics of this young wine with all its power: gunflint, crushed rocks, ripe white and green fruits, typical of the variety. Intense, high acidity and ripe tannins of the vintage make this wine extremely ageable.

The vineyards of Michel Mallard located in Ladoix-Serrigny at the foot of Corton Hill in the Cotes de Beaune encompass all levels of vineyard quality: Villages, Premier Cru Grand Cru. Red wines of Corton will typically be more structured than wines of Vougeout, but perhaps not as powerful as Pommard. The Grand Cru of Le Rognet is a complex wine with notes of buleberry, blackberry and blackcurrant with nuances of licorice and pepper. Smooth and velvety tannins, this wine will age for a surprisingly long time.

From the Veneto region, international grape varieties thrive, especially Cabernet Franc. The Savian winery is a family owend winery in the Lison Pramaggiore region fo Veneto, in operation since 1925. They received their organic certification in 1993. The company owns seven brands, and the Quota 7 line is also biodynamic. This Cabernet Franc is full bodied with juicy black fruit, herbs and hints of earth. Super drinkable and will pair well with grilled meats, and the price point is undeniable!

Intense garnet colour. Aromas of fresh red fruit, like gooseberry, with hints of humus on a oaky background. Impressive concentration on the palate and a persistent texture. The finish is almost rustic, with firm tannins covered by the dry extract.

Avondale Phoenix Red Blend Organic is a rich and elegant South African red wine crafted from organically farmed grapes in Paarl. This Bordeaux-style blend offers expressive aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, and dark berries, layered with notes of dark chocolate and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with refined tannins, vibrant freshness, and concentrated dark fruit. Balanced and complex, it finishes long and polished, making it an excellent pairing for roasted meats, grilled beef, lamb, game, and mature cheeses.

Vranac is a prominent, ancient red grape variety from the Balkans, primarily native to Montenegro, known for producing deep, almost black-purple, full-bodied wines with high tannins and bright acidity. It typically features intense dark fruit aromas—blackberries, blueberries, and cherries—often enhanced by aging to produce chocolate, liquorice, and spicy notes.

Cortonesi La Mannella Brunello di Montalcino is a premium, 100% Sangiovese wine from Tuscany, known for its intense ruby color and complex aromas of raspberry, black cherry, dried herbs, and earthy notes. It is a full-bodied, structured wine with velvety tannins, a slight saltiness, and a long, fruity finish.

Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is a renowned, full-bodied Australian red wine first produced in 1959, showcasing a warm-climate style with ripe, robust flavors. Blue Dragon Goldmuskateller is a white wine characterized by its fragrant, floral, and aromatic profile, specially designed to complement spicy and Asian cuisine.

Rabl Kamptal Verjus Spritz is a premium, non-alcoholic (0.0% ABV) sparkling aperitif from Austria, crafted by Weingut Rabl from tart, unripened Zweigelt grapes. This refreshing, lightly carbonated drink blends verjus (75%) with forest herbs, spring water, and fine bubbles, delivering a complex profile of red apple, lemon, and stone fruit.

One of the great vineyards of Napa Valley, farmer Nathan Fay planted this in 1961. It was the first vineyard planted to Cabernet Sauvignon in the Stags' Leap District. Stag's Leap cellars purchased the vineyard in 1986 and it continues to be one of the signature wines of the lineup, garnering 90+ scores year after year. The 2018 shows dust, clove and graphite with secondary hints of violet, sage and tree bark. While this can be enjoyed now, it is recommended to cellar and enjoy from 2029-2039. La Dama Valpolicella Classico is a light, vibrant, and organically farmed red wine from Veneto, Italy, produced in the Negrar region. It features bright aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and wild berries, offering a fresh, smooth, and slightly spicy palate. Known for being easy-drinking with moderate tannins, it is ideal for pairing with pasta, pizza, or lightly chilled.
