The Lelarge-Pugeot Extra Brut Millesime 2008 is a sparkling wine made from a blend of Chardonnay (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%) grapes grown in the Vrigny Premier Cru subregion of Champagne. It has a golden color with fine and persistent bubbles and aromas of ripe fruit, citrus, and brioche. On the palate, it is dry, complex, and full-bodied, with flavors of white peach, apricot, toasted almonds, and a hint of honey. Meukow XO is the fruit of the blend that combines the power of the tannins brought by the long ageing in oak wood barrels and the delicacy of Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie with the sweetness of Fins and Bons Bois eaux-de-vie.

Chateau Canon-la-Gaffeliere is a Premier Grand Cru Classe, located in the St. Emilion appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux. Owned by the von Neipperg family, there are links to viticulture here since the 13th century. Canon -la-Gaffeliere is one of only two Bordeaux properties that is Certified Organic. The 2014 is a red blend of 55% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of preserved blackberry, fig and black currant. The palate is medium-bodied with good structure and a spicy finish.

The Champagne Armand de Brignac Rose is crafted with Pinot Noir from old vines, planted in the Montagne de Reims, that produce fruit with powerful flavor intensity. The resulting cuvée features bright, fresh layers of red fruits, complemented by hints of baked pastry aromas.

Lucien Lardy is a family owned property with vineyards in the Fleurie and Moulin-A-Vent crus of Beaujolais. The fruit for this Villages wine was selected from a Fleurie vineyard that is over 50 years old. Perfect with Asian food, this Gamay is bright with bursts of wild cherry. The story of Maison Jadot began with vines and the purchase of a Premier Cru site in 1826. Three decades later in 1859 the family-owned domaine was completed. Louis Jadot also became contributed to the renown of Burgundy by becoming the first negociant, with a focus on selling these unprecedented wines in the Northern European markets with his descendants following in his footsteps.

The Les Boucherottes vineyard covers 8.5ha and has a deep clay soil that adds a lush quality to the the wines. As such, this is a full-bodied aromatic Pinot Noir that is plump and round with a dense structure. The aromas of raspberry and plum mingle with rosehip, raw cocoa and spice. It is a classic expression of the Louis Jadot style, which emphasizes balance, elegance, and terroir-driven wines.

Perlage: Fine, elegant and long-lasting mousse.

Colour: Pale lemon shade with golden and green highlights.

Bouquet: On the first nose, the wine reveals white flower aromas (honeysuckle, lilac), citrus notes, as well as fresh butter and cream. After airing, as it is getting warmer, this Champagne exhales another spectrum of aromas. The wine reveals spicy notes of ginger, and lemongrass, which were unsuspected until then.

Flavour: The beautiful quality of the acidity (present throughout the tasting) is especially remarkable. The frank vinosity of the wine (roundness and alcohol) gives an impression of strength and freshness. The wine appears both broad yet tight. These various sensations produce a pure, creamy and silky-textured wine. The finish is clean, slightly mineral and long. The last aroma is the grapefruit. The impression will be remembered as a harmonious, healthy and vibrant wine.

Domaine l'Enclos' 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudsier demonstrates both elegance and power: apple, pear, quince, orange and orange zest, notes of vanilla, bread crust and coffee with milk. A great opening on the tongue, lots of light and juicy fruit combine with a fine acidity which is wonderfully integrated into the fondant of the fruit. A high-class Chablis.

The color is golden, with some green reflections. Among the floral and fruity aromas, almond and ripe grapes dominate. On the palate, the wine is refreshingly pleasant, ethereal in its lightness. Long and refreshing aftertaste.

Perhaps not as popular as the neighbouring vineyards of Lynch-Bages, it is still very much Pauillac with many improvements being done at both the Chateau and in the vineyards in recent years. Made from 83% Cabernet Sauvignon for that power, structure, and flavour profile; and 17% Merlot for softness and roundness, this can still be further aged, but can be opened and enjoyed now. Enjoy the notes of tobacco, graphite, plum, black currants, mushrooms, and dried fruit of this wine!

Chateau du Tertre is a 5th growth in the 1855 Classification, located in the Margaux appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. The chateau itself is 1000 years old, stretching over 52ha. In 1961, the estate was acquired by Phillipe Gasqueton who restored the vineyards and chateau after WWII. After his death in 1995, his widow sold the property to the neighbouring owners of Chateau Giscours, a 3rd Growth. In 1997, the estate was restructured and redesigned by the current Dutch owners of Albada-Jelgersma. This red blend has mainly cabernet sauvignon, with the balance of merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. A typical Margaux style with elegant floral and red fruits on the nose, yet with plenty of tobacco, cedar and dried herbs with a soft texture, and fresh acidity. Wait a couple of years to enjoy this and drink from 2025-2040.

The very expressive bouquet shows attractive hints of cherry and raspberry. The wine is ethereal on the palate, with beautiful freshness that highlights the delicious fruitiness. The long aftertaste confirms the overall charm and attractiveness.

Margaux shows us the elegance and feminine side of Bordeaux. This second label of Chateau Brane Cantenac, a Second Growth of Bordeaux is a blend of 65% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Already silky and very promising, it expresses black fruit aromas of blackberry and fleshy cherry mixed with elegant toast, smoke, and vanilla. The tannins are refined and balanced and is absolutely in the drink window.

Couvent des Jacobins 2016 develops blackberry and spicy aromas. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and fresh acidity. The finish reveals a beautiful structure.
