Considered by many to be the benchmark for Islay malts this classic pours a golden amber colour and wafts from your glass with intense smoky peat and iodine. The palate is full flavour, rich and smooth with peat, figs, dates, and vanilla followed by an enduring smoky and dry finish.

Melted caramel, birch beer, and fresh violets on the nose, leading to a creamy palate of cooked bananas, chocolate syrup, butterscotch, licorice, gingerbread, marzipan, raisins, burnt brown sugar, and complex oak. Honeyed almonds and balanced spice take the lead on a solid finish, with trailing notes of melted caramel, plus cinnamon babka, barrel char, light smoke, and an earthy old leather note. A plentiful array of flavors, all meshing well.

Myth is a single malt whisky matured in a range of specially selected ex-bourbon and rejuvenated oak casks, bottled at 41% abv. This whisky has a Kosher certificate.

Suntory's mastery of this process is the result of extensive experience gained over decades making gin. Suntory developed its own multiple distillation process as a result of the special features each botanical brings to Roku Gin's perfectly balanced mix.

Nose : Cherry blossom and green tea provide a floral and sweet aroma.

Palate : Complex, multi layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.

Finish : The crisp Japanese sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.

Milky white and scented with coconut, this liqueur is sweet and creamy on the palate, with plenty of coconut flavor. It's not as thick as some other cream liqueurs, which makes it relatively easy drinking. Ideal for mixing into piña colada-style drinks in place of coconut cream.

A host of sweet confections—caramel corn, candied apples, toasted marshmallow, bubble gum, and gobs of banana taffy—are reminiscent of a warm summer night at the fair. The palate speaks of orchard fruits, sweet golden apples, and poached pear, as hints of peach and cocoa appear on the clean, enjoyable, and succinct finish.

THREE SEASONS GIN, IS AN ENGLISH GARDEN THROUGH SPRING, SUMMER AND AUTUMN
Created where dramatically changing seasons produce truly aromatic botanicals, the finest are selected to create an intense and complex spirit

Each seasonal botanical is distilled individually to preserve the purity of its essence.

Fragrant spring lemon verbena, fresh summer rose, and ripe, autumnal blackcurrant leaf are tailored into a supple and vibrant gin which stimulates the senses, from its initial citrus burst to the rounded, generous finish.

Tasting Notes:
Vital Stats: 43% ABV. Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021. Double matured in American oak and ex-oloroso casks.
Appearance: This is a light straw color. It forms a thick rim on the glass that takes a long time to form into tears.
Nose: This has the smell of a honeysuckle tree, whole oranges, and a bit of lemon oil. There is just a hint of the grain on the nose as well.

Palate: This is like drinking honey water. It is light and delicate while being full of flavor. It is certainly on the sweet side with notes of honey and star fruit. There is a brief note of cherry on the mid palate. The front and mid palate are quite clean while the finish has a bit of that sulfur taste. The finish is complemented by a light earthy spice, reminiscent of white pepper and allspice. The addition of water sees the sweetness subdued and all the flavors other than the honey are present for longer. There is just a bit of malt that wasn't there straight out of the bottle as well.

Octomore 13.3 demonstrates the phenomenal force of flavour when combining super-heavy peat with the variable harvests gathered from the island of Islay, raised by friend and farmer James Brown on one singular farm.

Octomore 13.1 is as youthful and dynamic as its super-heavily peated predecessors. Distilled patiently from the 2015 harvest of 100% Scottish Mainland barley, this single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks.

If heavy peat is what dad likes, gift him the Octomore, from the Islay distillery of Bruichladdich. Aged for five years in Bourbon barrels, the hidden peat smoke gives way to the floral, malty spirit and sweet American oak with smoked apricot jam, burnt heather and Turkish delight. Martell XO has a spicy, rich crescendo starting with the mellow elegance of the Borderies, followed by the intensity and finesse typical of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. The nose consists of ground spice (black pepper, coriander) and red berries. Rich fruit flavours: fig chutney and compote, almonds and walnuts along with beeswax and sandalwood.

Louis-Alexandre had a love for aged cognac. His own preference was to add an extra drop of Cognac to his glass of Grand Marnier, giving it a more intense taste. As a tribute, we created the premium Grand Marnier Cuvée Louis-Alexandre in 1977, using VSOP cognacs from the finest growing areas in the Cognac region, aged to perfection in tronçais oak casks for richer and deeper flavours.

Colour: Warm amber with tints of copper and orange.

Aroma: Nose of candied orange with nuances of citrus zests, orange and bergamot essences.

Flavour: Candied orange and macerated citrus fruit flavors are dampened by notes of pine and earl gray tea. Very long finish for an intense taste and contemporary experience of the warmth of Grand Marnier liqueur.

The Oban Distillers Edition 2021 is a unique blend of flavors achieved by aging the whisky in ex-bodega Montilla Fino cask wood. This process enhances the fruity and maritime notes, creating a complex and rich expression of the classic Oban flavor. The nose is pungent and fruity, with hints of smoke and the taste is explosive, with waves of rich fruit balanced by a salty undertone. The finish is sweet with notes of Jamaican coffee and oak, leaving a pleasant malt-biscuit aftertaste.

Caol Ila 12 year old is the entry-level bottling from the Caol Ila distillery, launched in June of 2002 this expression is light and fresh with that distinctive Caol Ila smoke.

Meet Engine, the ultimate taste explosion. This London dry gin is hand-crafted by master distillers in small batches and bottled by hand in the Alta Langa region of north-western Italy. Engine's formula honours Italian and Piedmont traditions, inspired by ancient digestive remedies like rosolios, cordials, and liquors made from sage and lemon. Produced with 100% organic Italian ingredients, Engine features a blend of botanicals including juniper, lemon, licorice, rose, and sage.

Royal Salute, the prestigious blended whiskey brand under the stewardship of Pernod Ricard and operated by Chivas Brothers Holdings, was originally introduced in 1953 to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Recently, on May 17, 2023, a collection of new Royal Salute whiskey labels emerged online, unveiling an exquisite addition to the lineup: the Royal Salute 21 Year Old The Miami Polo Edition.

Nose: Aromas of caramel, vanilla, and oak.
Taste: Rich and smooth with notes of butterscotch, toffee, and a hint of spice.
Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with a long, satisfying finish.

Regauged into once-used bourbon barrels, this is not the WhistlePig of old. Four years’ finishing in Vermont has toned down the sweetness and high notes, emphasizing a complex, leather/dark chocolate/tobacco spectrum instead. Lavender, violets, and ripe red fruit rise over dusty-dry barn boards, blue clay, and dark rye bread. The spicy rye tones glow with white pepper, while hints of astringent barrel oak keep a slight slipperiness from clinging.

The nose tickles with caramel, spice, vanilla, and earthiness, with just a hint of balsamic vinegar. Warming. Coated with spices, ranging from cinnamon to allspice and from coffee to nutmeg. Eventually, patented caramel and vanilla, with a fun hint of cardamom. The long, enjoyable finish is earthy, but there’s an unwanted bitterness at the end that cannot be denied. If not for the bitter end, this would rate much higher.

As with much of what passes for Japanese whisky, the spirit for this one was not produced in Japan, it was however matured there for at least some of its life. This "pure malt", a term no longer allowed in Scotland, means it is a blend of different single malts, or a Blended Malt. The sourced whiskies, almost certainly Scottish, where matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry before marrying and gfinishing in Mizunara, Japanese Oak. 43%.

Tasting Notes

Nose: salted caramel, raisins, dates and figs; firm new leather, fruity tobacco and candied nuts; chocolate covered espresso beans and Twizzlers black licorice.

Palate: round, fruity and spicy; more salted caramel, firm new leather, Twizzlers Black and salty Dutch licorice; a trace of juicy malt, dried dark fruits and more chocolate covered espresso; drying and spicy with more cinnamon sticks, ginger root and fennel.

Finish: medium long, coating, drying and spicy; elegant but subtle.

Comment: the Mizunara oak notes do not come through quite as prominently for me on the 15 as they did on the 10 year; this is a more mature, austere and understated malt.

Alvear Brandy Gran Reserva is one of the gems by the winery Alvear. This brandy has been aged 25 years in extremely old American oak barrels, by means of the solera system.

Kahlúa Coffee Flavoured Liqueur offers a rich and complex taste profile featuring strong coffee notes, blended with hints of vanilla, chocolate, and a touch of sweet butter. The aroma is characterized by freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate, and vanilla. The taste is lightly syrupy and sweet, with dark chocolate and coffee competing for prominence, complemented by strong vanilla and a faint smokiness. The finish is smooth and creamy, with lingering coffee and vanilla flavors.

This tequila, subtly and elegantly matured in French white oak barrels, gains remarkable depth and richness from aging in red-wine woods. The dual wood aging process imparts a unique flavor profile, with an intense gold and dark amber hue. Expect a multitude of fruity aromas intertwined with toasted oak notes, creating a truly distinctive spirit.

Introducing Citrus Gin, a vibrant twist on the original, made with the finest Algarve oranges. This gin dazzles with its crystal orange hue and delivers a fresh, familiar taste. It surprises the palate by blending the dry, dominant notes of juniper, coriander, and angelica with the refreshing flavors of orange and tangerine. This time, it features a glass for the most optimal flavour of this gin.

The nose of this whisky is characterized by rich aromas of barley sugar, raisins, and dried fruit, complemented by hints of fennel seed and fresh bread. On the palate, it offers a rich and spicy experience, with notes of juicy fruit, cinnamon, and well-defined flavors. The finish is long and satisfying, with a welcoming kick of black pepper followed by lingering dried fruit notes.

With a mashbill of 72/18/10% (corn/rye/malted barley), Old Forester offers a traditional recipe in a contemporary proof. Ponder the basics: caramel and vanilla with hints of herbs and baking spices. Promise shows in pumpkin spice, custard, and burnt caramel, but there’s an unwanted high-alcohol note that dulls much of the sweeter taste. Its final moments are saved with hints of cinnamon. Good value bourbon.

Octomore 13.2 offers an alternative maturation to the structural brilliance delivered by its 13.1 counterpart. In an indulgent point of difference, the five-year-old spirit has spent its entire maturing life in Oloroso butts from Fernando de Castilla, Spain.

The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is a dark, smooth, and bold spiced rum named after a mythical sea monster. It's crafted from aged Caribbean rum blended with a secret mix of spices, including vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. The rum has a rich aroma with notes of caramel and toffee, and the flavor profile includes cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg with a lingering spicy finish. It's known for its versatility in cocktails, particularly simple classics like a rum and coke, or enjoyed on its own as a shot.

BLACKENED Whiskey celebrates Metallica’s much-anticipated new album with the Limited Edition 72 Seasons Batch, using the album in the sonic-enhancement process. This limited-edition bottle features elements inspired by the album, including a striking yellow capsule with the signature Metallica M and the 72 Seasons logo prominently displayed on the front. “It’s kind of like we’re bottling key Metallica memories with these limited-release batches. We did it with S&M2 and The Black Album, and now we’re doing it with 72 Seasons. It’s awesome to share this experience with the band and the fans,” says Rob Dietrich, BLACKENED’s Master Distiller & Blender.

This U.S.-exclusive release was initially aged in first-fill American oak sherry casks before a period of finishing in cognac casks. Spicy red wine notes on the notably aromatic nose, with vanilla and light cinnamon. Good texture in the mouth, sweet, and very approachable, with tangerines, toffee, dates, sultanas, and milk chocolate. Liqueur chocolates in the smooth, lengthy finish. Not overly complex, but robust and extremely drinkable.
