Tasting Notes:
Vital Stats: 43% ABV. Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021. Double matured in American oak and ex-oloroso casks.
Appearance: This is a light straw color. It forms a thick rim on the glass that takes a long time to form into tears.
Nose: This has the smell of a honeysuckle tree, whole oranges, and a bit of lemon oil. There is just a hint of the grain on the nose as well.

Palate: This is like drinking honey water. It is light and delicate while being full of flavor. It is certainly on the sweet side with notes of honey and star fruit. There is a brief note of cherry on the mid palate. The front and mid palate are quite clean while the finish has a bit of that sulfur taste. The finish is complemented by a light earthy spice, reminiscent of white pepper and allspice. The addition of water sees the sweetness subdued and all the flavors other than the honey are present for longer. There is just a bit of malt that wasn't there straight out of the bottle as well.

Octomore 13.2 offers an alternative maturation to the structural brilliance delivered by its 13.1 counterpart. In an indulgent point of difference, the five-year-old spirit has spent its entire maturing life in Oloroso butts from Fernando de Castilla, Spain.

Bruichladdich's Scottish Barley is made entirely from Scottish-grown barley, trickle distilled and then matured in American oak. The distillery class it as their signature bottling.

Jim Beam White, also known as Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is a classic American bourbon known for its approachable and versatile character. It's aged for four years in new, charred American white oak barrels, imparting a smooth and balanced flavor profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, and subtle spice. It's a popular choice for both sipping neat, on the rocks, or in classic cocktails.

Rhum Barbancourt Réserve Spéciale 5 Star 8 Year Old features a balanced profile, with notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak on the nose, and a palate of butterscotch, toasted almonds, and dried apricots. The finish is long and warming, with hints of baking spices, ginger, and a slight peppery kick.

A distinctly Japanese citrus liqueur, made from the fruit of the Yuzu tree – a thorny and finicky yet beautiful shrub that infuses this liqueur with floral wonders and a refreshing citrus taste.

Michter's has reintroduced a once-popular whiskey into their lineup, showcasing the traditional sour mash method where a portion of the fermented mash from one batch initiates the fermentation of the next. This revival offers upfront flavors of burnt sugar, spice, tree fruit, and vanilla, leading to a finish characterized by notes of ginger and black pepper. It pairs excellently with barbecued ribs or pecan pie.

This cheery buttercup-yellow spirit evolves from sweet to bitter in seconds flat. At first, it has a sweet, honey-like cast, then ginger and other herbal notes develop and, finally, it finishes dry, with an amaro-like bitter note. Traditionally consumed neat, Becherovka also stands up well to dilution (tonic, club soda) and makes a particularly refreshing apéritif chilled with a squeeze of lime.

Royal Salute, the prestigious blended whiskey brand under the stewardship of Pernod Ricard and operated by Chivas Brothers Holdings, was originally introduced in 1953 to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Recently, on May 17, 2023, a collection of new Royal Salute whiskey labels emerged online, unveiling an exquisite addition to the lineup: the Royal Salute 21 Year Old The Miami Polo Edition.

Vanilla and almond aromas mingle with a hint of ripe pear. Baked and fresh pear notes lead into coconut cream and almond midpalate, freshened by a delicate white floral hint. A wisp of smoke drifts into the exit. Finished in French Limousin oak.

Sangre De Vida Añejo is a premium 100% blue agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, aged for at least 12 months in American or French oak barrels. It is characterized by a rich, complex profile with dominant notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, often packaged in a hand-painted, heart-shaped bottle, boasting a smooth finish. 

Tequila Cimarron is verified additive-free and made only from fully-mature 100% Blue Weber agave plants and artesian well water, without diffusers, enhancers, or modifiers. The reposado expression is aged in American white oak for 4 months, giving it a slight colour and complexit. It's mellow and earthy with notes of agave, vanilla, oak, caramel and cinnamon.

Introducing Citrus Gin, a vibrant twist on the original, made with the finest Algarve oranges. This gin dazzles with its crystal orange hue and delivers a fresh, familiar taste. It surprises the palate by blending the dry, dominant notes of juniper, coriander, and angelica with the refreshing flavors of orange and tangerine. This time, it features a glass for the most optimal flavour of this gin.

A straw-yellow reposado with classic flavors of white pepper joined by dusty hints of cocoa nib. A viscous, sweet first taste quickly moves to an incredibly bold, invigorating finish with intense flavors of cinnamon candy, roasted clove, and dark chocolate.

Blackened Whiskey’s Master Distiller & Blender, Rob Dietrich, teamed up with Rabbit Hole Distillery’s Founder & Hall of Fame whiskey maker, Kaveh Zamanian, to create BLACKENED x Rabbit Hole.

Nose: Rich and smoky with notes of maritime influence, brine, and sea salt. Hints of red berries, dark chocolate, and dried fruits.

Taste: Intense and complex. Peat smoke and black pepper upfront, followed by sweet flavors of ripe plums, cherries, and caramel. Slight spiciness and a touch of oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety. The smokiness lingers, accompanied by a delightful mix of red fruits, dark chocolate, and a subtle sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle spice and a hint of dryness.

The nose tickles with caramel, spice, vanilla, and earthiness, with just a hint of balsamic vinegar. Warming. Coated with spices, ranging from cinnamon to allspice and from coffee to nutmeg. Eventually, patented caramel and vanilla, with a fun hint of cardamom. The long, enjoyable finish is earthy, but there’s an unwanted bitterness at the end that cannot be denied. If not for the bitter end, this would rate much higher.

Tapatio Excelencia Gran Reserva Extra Añejo is a premium, 100% blue agave tequila from La Alteña distillery in Jalisco, aged for approximately four years in deeply charred American white oak barrels. Originally a private reserve for the Camarena family, it offers a complex, intense profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, cooked agave, and spices.

Grand Mayan Reposado is a premium 100% Blue Agave tequila from Mexico, aged for 6-8 months in American and French oak casks. Known for its smooth, sippable nature, it features notes of oak, chocolate, and sweet cooked agave. It is bottled in a hand-painted, numbered ceramic decanter featuring 24K gold applique.

The Macallan distillery of Speyside was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer. It was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. Made from the finest barley and matured for 15 years in a combination of Sherry seasoned American and European oak; these casks without a doubt, are the single greatest contributor to the distinctive aromas and flavours, not to mention the outstanding quality of this Scotch. The apple takes centre stage in the 15, showing baked apples with butterscotch, marmalade and notes of toffee on the nose with a warm palate of warm apples with raisins with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. The finish lingers with oak and spice.

HENDRICK’S GIN is created via an absurdly inefficient, yet quite glorious process. In essence, to make one gin, we first create two. One on an old-fashioned pot still, yielding a rich and intricate spirit. The other on a long-necked Carter Head, producing a delicate, more refined spirit. Each still is infused with an unusual symphony of 11 botanicals: chamomile, elderflower, juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, caraway, coriander, cubeb berries, angelica root, yarrow root and orris root. The gins from the two stills are then married together and graced with curious yet marvellous infusions of Rose and Cucumber.
This odd method of making gin enables HENDRICK’S to taste light, yet intriguingly complex. The result is a wonderfully refreshing gin with a delightfully floral aroma, elevating any cocktail and all occasions.

Licor 35 is a delightful cream liqueur crafted by blending a popular liquor with the iconic flavors of pastel de nata! It captures the rich cinnamon aromas of puff pastry and the creamy, sweet essence of egg custard, delivering a taste that’s indulgently reminiscent of the beloved Portuguese dessert.

Named after the river that meanders through the estate, this whisky offers a medium level of peatiness. Its antique gold hue invites exploration, while the nose entices with notes of wet stone, delicate peat smoke, refreshing mint, and dried florals. On the palate, experience a harmony of mineral essence, zesty citrus, and dark chocolate atop a medium-bodied foundation, culminating in a fleeting burst of hot pepper on the finish.

The first of the fine Divins produced in Moldova. It is made of top-quality 7-years-old wine distillates.

It is characterized by a refined taste and complex bouquet with resinous-vanilla notes. In 1967 at the International Beverage Contest, Montreal, “MOLDOVA” was declared the best world cognac in its category and awarded with Big Gold Medal.

It was also awarded with 2 gold and 3 silver medals at other events.

Kara Newman's description captures the essence of this rum impeccably. With its inviting murky amber hue, the rum emanates rich aromas of maple and allspice, promising a delightful experience. Upon the palate, one is greeted by the luscious flavors of maple sugar, cocoa, and hazelnut, which gradually give way to a lively finish punctuated by notes of black pepper, ginger, and a subtle cayenne zing. The finishing touch of ex-sherry casks adds depth and complexity to the overall profile. As suggested by the producer, mixing this rum in a highball with coconut water would undoubtedly enhance its already exceptional qualities.

Cenote Tequila Anejo is a premium tequila that is aged for at least one year in American oak barrels. It is made from 100% blue weber agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens and then fermented with natural yeast. The resulting tequila is smooth and complex, with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. It has a rich amber color and a full-bodied flavor that is perfect for sipping or mixing in cocktails. Cenote Tequila Anejo is a high-quality spirit that is perfect for tequila enthusiasts who appreciate the art of crafting a fine tequila.

This Grangestone Single Malt has been matured in traditional American oak casks until it has achieved the perfect balance of flavours, green leafy notes play in harmony with its sweet delicate oak flavour. The whisky is then transferred into casks that have previously held Sherry to allow for further development.

Aroma: A rich malty aroma with subtle notes of dried fruits and cinnamon sticks. The sherry cask influence has introduced a sherbet spice and oaky character.
