At 307.2 PPM, Octomore 15.3 is our second most heavily peated release to date. Using 100% Islay barley, matured in bourbon casks and Spanish Oloroso hogsheads. Formidable smoke is countered by ripe fruit from its patient distillation.

Martell XO has a spicy, rich crescendo starting with the mellow elegance of the Borderies, followed by the intensity and finesse typical of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. Clase Azul Plata is an ultra-premium, unaged silver tequila crafted from 100% organic Tequilana Weber Blue Agave, recognized for its smooth, crisp taste and artisanal, hand-painted glass decanter with a blue base. It features vibrant aromas of lemongrass and mint, with a sweet, citrus-forward palate of vanilla and Meyer lemon.

Octomore 13.3 demonstrates the phenomenal force of flavour when combining super-heavy peat with the variable harvests gathered from the island of Islay, raised by friend and farmer James Brown on one singular farm.

As with much of what passes for Japanese whisky, the spirit for this one was not produced in Japan, it was however matured there for at least some of its life. This "pure malt", a term no longer allowed in Scotland, means it is a blend of different single malts, or a Blended Malt. The sourced whiskies, almost certainly Scottish, where matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry before marrying and gfinishing in Mizunara, Japanese Oak. 43%.

Tasting Notes

Nose: salted caramel, raisins, dates and figs; firm new leather, fruity tobacco and candied nuts; chocolate covered espresso beans and Twizzlers black licorice.

Palate: round, fruity and spicy; more salted caramel, firm new leather, Twizzlers Black and salty Dutch licorice; a trace of juicy malt, dried dark fruits and more chocolate covered espresso; drying and spicy with more cinnamon sticks, ginger root and fennel.

Finish: medium long, coating, drying and spicy; elegant but subtle.

Comment: the Mizunara oak notes do not come through quite as prominently for me on the 15 as they did on the 10 year; this is a more mature, austere and understated malt.

Octomore 13.2 offers an alternative maturation to the structural brilliance delivered by its 13.1 counterpart. In an indulgent point of difference, the five-year-old spirit has spent its entire maturing life in Oloroso butts from Fernando de Castilla, Spain.

The Macallan distillery of Speyside was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer. It was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. Made from the finest barley and matured for 15 years in a combination of Sherry seasoned American and European oak; these casks without a doubt, are the single greatest contributor to the distinctive aromas and flavours, not to mention the outstanding quality of this Scotch. The apple takes centre stage in the 15, showing baked apples with butterscotch, marmalade and notes of toffee on the nose with a warm palate of warm apples with raisins with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. The finish lingers with oak and spice.

Chateau Suduiraut, classed as a Premier Cru in 1855, is made from grapes selected from the finest terroirs of the property. This wine is hand crafted at every stage of its elaboration and reveals remarkable finesse and complexity and a golden colour reminiscent of the sun that made it possible. With age the bright gold evolves to a dark amber colour. With an extensive life-span, it powerfully and harmoniously combines fruit and floral aromas with roasted and candied notes.

Ace of Spades Champagne, also known as Armand de Brignac, is a brand of champagne produced by the Champagne house Cattier in Chigny-les-Roses, France. The champagne is made from a blend of grapes of the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier varieties, and is known for its rich, full-bodied flavor and elegant packaging. It has aromas and flavors of citrus, brioche, and toasted nuts, and is often enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with rich, flavorful foods.

Caymus Special Selection is always a selection of the best barrels that play to a style constantly pushing the limits of richness and concentration, in this case, clocking in at 16% alcohol. The nose is slightly cooked and raisiny with plenty of cassis, chocolate, and coffee spilling onto the palate. Blackberry jam, pipe tobacco and brown spices line a richly dark, dense tannin finish. It is only made in the best years, but I wouldn’t mind if this was throttled back a bit.

Canada- A rare blend of 3 of Crown Royal's most exceptional whiskies aged at least 18 years. Enticing notes of vanilla & stone fruit greet you on the nose, followed by the velvety body of light oak tempered by caramel spice. Delicate notes of nougat linger in the full-bodied finish.

D'Ussé XO Cognac, a blend of Cognacs aged between 10 to 30 years in oak, presents a deep copper hue. Its complex nose offers dried apricot, butterscotch, and orange zest. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, toasted nut, apricot, and honey intertwine, creating a smooth and full-bodied experience. The finish is lengthy, with earthy notes emerging.

Winemaker notes:
Overture reflects the winemaker's artistry by showcasing the talent of blending five traditional Bordeaux grape varieties and capturing terroir characteristics of the same variety grown in different soils. However, Overture's third blending aspect - that of marrying multiple vintages - yields a softer, rounder expression of our estate that can be enjoyed upon release.Overture is full bodied but approachable in its youth. Overture shows generous dark fruit aromas and flavors with a soft, supple mid-palate.

Hongyun lang is a high-end sauce-aroma baijiu. Its design concept comes from the blessing words "Hongyun Dang Tou" which means lucky star shining bright. The characteristics of Langjiu is all in this bottle with prominent sauce flavour, full bodied, sweet aftertaste and long lasting fragrance on empty glass. Truly a rare gem Baijiu.

The Cask 23 wine combines the signature perfume of grapes from the Fay vineyard with the structured and dark fruit of the SLV. The wine opens with fragrant and fresh aromas ofred and black currants, black tea, anise, and nutmeg. Vibrant with savoury notes, blackberry and blackcurrant flavours. The tannins are velvety and refined, and the oak is well integrated. This wine scored almost perfect - 99 points. ecause we also carry the 2018, this is a great opportunity to create a mini-vertical.

Taylor Fladgate Ports represent over three and a quarter centuries of family tradition that began with the foundation of Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman in 1692. Chestnut, copper colour core with a light golden rim. The primary aromas are elegant, rich and very delicate. Notes of rum and raisin, clove, nutmeg and a hint of cracked black pepper. Prunes, quince and apricot dance on your palate as the zest of lemon and orange deliver a freshness of acidity to balance the richness of the wine. Notes of scorched pineapple, passion fruit and lychee balance beautifully with the toasted coconut, almonds and butterscotch. The texture and weight of the wine wraps the palate and finishes bright, fresh and poised. The finish just goes on and on. It is the perfect wine with which to commemorate a half century, be it a 50th anniversary or a five-decade landmark.

The 2018 Cosecha bottling is crafted from over-ripe Highland pinto Blue Weber agave cultivated at an altitude of 5,019 feet in the mineral-rich CALICHE soil of Vista Hermosa, Micohoacán, the southernmost region within the D.O. This unique terroir, saturated with calcium carbonate, imparts a heightened minerality to Tequila Fuenteseca Cosecha 2018, beautifully complementing its pure agave essence, characterized by notes of sweet, cooked yams, and warm baking spices.

This expression is reputed to contain some whisky up to 40 years old and was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. The nose offers overt sherry influences, with fruit malt loaf, maple syrup, honey, and old leather. Full and slightly oily on the rich palate, with toffee, raisins, Brazil nuts, and fresh cake mix. Dusty spices and oak in the relatively dry finish.
