“A perfect Yquem again after the 2021, which is fresher and more refined than the 2022. The perception of sweetness is super-knit. Lots of botrytis, with turmeric, saffron, cream, roasted meringue, pine nuts, spices and dried mangoes. This is a powerful, seductive and lush wine. Ornamented and richer this year than 2021, but there is so much charm and harmony. Long and spicy, with a hint of petrol at the end. Wow. The second most concentrated Yquem after 1945, according to the winemaker. About 160 grams of residual sugar. So approachable now, but better in five or six years. It will live forever."

A 2 Year Old Straight Bourbon from Texas distillery, Ironroot Republic. This has been distilled from a mash of 100% Bloody Butcher Corn, meeting the requirements for Bourbon having been matured in a new charred oak barrel (Char 1 - Heavy Toast).

Once again we’ve bottled this at natural cask strength and and have filled just 242 bottles.

An absolutely striking variety of Heirloom corn grown since the 1800’s, Bloody Butcher is probably the deepest red corn available anywhere. Ears grow to 12″, with a deep and bright red colour.

The distillery uses multiple varieties of corn, rye, wheat, and barley. The vast majority of which are grown within 60 miles of the distillery.

Bloody Butcher Corn is a pretty important grain for Ironroot Republic. They use it as a flavouring grain in about 20% of the whiskeys that they make, so to have a single cask 100% Bloody Butcher Corn Bourbon is kind of a big deal

Winner of a 2016 World Beer Cup Award, The 33 Acres of Euphoria is a Belgian Trippel that is bottle conditioned and sold in 750ml bottles. Coming in at 9.2% alcohol this is a big and intense beer, don’t tell the food and inspection agency though as the beer is mislabeled as being a “strong beer” as opposed to “Extra Strong Beer”. This beer pours from the (not easily opened) corked bottle a colour of hazy gold topped with one finger of head that settles without a trace. The aroma is sweet with a moderate Belgian yeast character along side notes of coriander, wheat, orange peel and a mellow booziness. Tasting the beer, low carbonation meets a creamy mouthfeel and sweetness. The sweetness masks the boozy character from the nose and subdues the coriander spice and orange peel notes. While perhaps a touch under carbonated this is a well crafted, traditional style Belgian Tripel.

Alcohol-Removed Sparkling Dry Rose. Fruity and crisp blend of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer grapes.

Deep, dark, almost opaque ruby-red color with hints of purple at the rim. There are lovely licorice notes overlaying the bursting dark-fruit on the nose. The palate combines juicy dark fruit, licorice and some earthy grip. The wine has good acidity, warming alcohol & a very smooth texture on the finish. The fruit on the finish is ripe in character with black-cherry and black olive flavors.

Medium-bodied, this wine will evolve gracefully over the next 10 years, developing more complex aromas of minerals, beeswax, and dried fruit.

This wine boasts a distinctive coppery hue, achieved by leaving the must on the skins overnight! Aromas of ripe pear, apricot, and floral notes are enriched with hints of almonds and a touch of spice. It’s an easy progression why we would use Alberta’s famous Taber Corn from the Molnar Farm in our corn mash allowing you to not only eat your Taber Corn, but drink it too. At 101 proof (50.5% abv), this higher proof whisky gives a depth of flavour and aroma second to none, just like the corn it is made from!

Temperance Chérie is a comfort beverage, as welcome as a warm hug on a cold day. Ripe cherry notes mingle with the best of British Columbian apples to create a sparkler that hints of orchard blossoms kissed by the sun.

Another great wine from the winemaking team at Casale del Giglio, this is another "petit" wine, although there's nothing little about it. Typically the grape used in Bordeaux blends to provide the tannic backbone, it's seen more and more often as a monovarietal wine. The Petit Verdot is part of a special research project that was launched in 1985 with the goal to identify maximize the territory’s potential for quality viticulture. Finding ideal growing conditions with respect to climate, elevation, and soil, the Petit Verdot matures into an elegant and full-bodied red wine with great berry flavours. Velvety and ripe tannins provide a great backbone. A complex wine with great aging potential.

The Sauternes Cask Matured limited edition from Kilchoman has been fully matured in ex-Sauternes wine casks, offering a remarkable balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger, and floral peat smoke. Selected by Kilchoman Founder Anthony Wills, this whisky combines the natural peat smoke and citrus character of Kilchoman with layers of dark fruits, rich spices, and salted caramel sweetness. The nose presents creamy, buttery notes with ripe fruits and subtle peat smoke, while the palate features butterscotch, floral notes, and tropical fruits, all carried by integrated peat smoke. Saint Joseph in the Northern Rhone is only authorized for 100% Syrah. Black pepper, warm spice, black cherry, and iron minerality, it would be best to put this away and let the tannins settle down, or open for several hours before serving to open. Classic Rhone Valley Syrah.

Family farmed since 1956 The Stewart Family is one of the "originals" in the Okanagan Valley. The winery was built in 1989 with vineyards stones throw away from Lake Okanagan. This Reserve Chardonnay, their flagship white wine, is grown on the volcanic soils of Mt. Boucherie. Sophisticated and elegant, it's a full-bodied white with aromas of vanilla bean, butterscotch, and toasted hazelnut; further enhanced with a creamy mouth feel of stone fruits, crème brulee and vanilla yogurt.

The wine is aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, which gives it a subtle oakiness and a soft texture. On the nose, there are notes of red fruit, such as cherries and raspberries, as well as a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is fresh and vibrant, with flavors of ripe red fruits, a hint of minerality, and a long, elegant finish. The tannins are well-integrated and provide a nice structure to the wine. This Sancerre Rouge is a great match for grilled or roasted meats, as well as strong cheeses.
