The 2018 Bodegas Roda Reserva is an elegant, expressive Rioja blend (typically Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha) from an exceptionally cool, rainy vintage. It highlights vibrant, fresh red fruits with perfectly integrated oak, culminating in a delicate, long, and silky finish.

It is intense with fresh fruit of red profile, very delicate. A bouquet of floral notes and dine herbs. The wood is almost imperceptible, due to the use of semi-new oak barrels during the ageing. On nose is delicious, subtle and delicate, representing the freshness of a cold vintage.
Palate: Medium body, light and silky texture. Very fruity with very fresh red fruits. The tannins are very fine and fresh leaving a feeling of daintiness and softness.

The blend of this entry-level red from Rioja changes with the year, and the 2016 Sela is 87% Tempranillo, 7% Graciano and 6% Garnacha, reflecting a cooler year. Bright light pink colour with a youthful mousseux. Roasted and oak-derived notes with light red berry fruit, citrus and grape. Rather light palate, balanced and fresh with fresh red currant and pink grape, still with a slight oak impact, mild creaminess and a medium to long finish.

This is small production gewurztraminer made from 25-45 year old vines It showcases aromatic wines that are charming and delicious. The Sonnenglanz Grand Cru is the perfect terroir for Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. The wine shows aromas of peach, honey with brown spices, nutmeg and lychee. Broad and full on the palate with ripe peach fruit, spice, stone mineral, plenty of sweetness balanced by lively acidity andan unctuous mouthfeel, this wine is likely in a great spot for drinking. It will show best when decanted.
