The tannins are dense yet elegant and the finish proves to be savoury and enduring.

This Pinot from Oregon stands as a testament to the state's ability to produce wines that can indeed rival those from Burgundy. This realization is further solidified upon tasting this particular wine, which is currently in its optimal drinking window and will remain so for the next few years. It opens up slowly, revealing a salty zest of dark cherry and the wild garrigue—a type of herby scrub found in Burgundy. This wine is a gastronomic delight, becoming one of my favorites when paired with a seared steak accompanied by a red wine pan jus.

This Tequila, crafted without dilution or filtration, pays homage to its founder, Salvador Rosales Briseno, through authentic production methods. Initially, it presents a strong, fragrant aroma of cooked agave, pepper, and fresh herbs. Upon opening, the bouquet evolves to unveil notes of cardamom, nuts, coffee, honey, and butter, while retaining the dry, mineral earth characteristics that are a hallmark of Lowland Tequila. The first sip offers a vibrant and refreshing experience, with flavors of mint and fresh herbs creating a delightful contrast between bitter and sweet. This transitions into a palate of honey and ripe fruits, leaving a lasting impression of sweet warmth.

A perfect summer red, this refreshing, light-bodied wine from Alto-Adige in northern Italy, is made with the indegenous Schiava (group of) grapes. Three grapes in this group, often co-planted can sometimes also be known as Vernatsch. The wine is packed full of bright red cherry, strawberry and sweet almond sensations. Thanks to soft acidity and supple tannins, it's an ideal wine to serve chilled and sip as an apéritif or pair with seafood. Your guests will enjoy this wine for the upcoming spring/summer season.

Extraordinarily aromatic, with notes of overripe banana, green papaya, molasses, toasted almond, and fermented mango. The palate offers more decadent notes of milk chocolate and spiced figs, but not without a peppery kick and touch of funk that this distillery is known for. Outstanding.

Showing just the faintest straw tinge in the glass, this single-maguey mezcal offers a zesty dried-herb scent. The palate also shows plenty of dried herb flavor, plus hints of tomato, citrus peel and a strongly smoky midpalate, finishing with a minty fade.

The warehouses at Glenora are not heated, so aging virtually stops in winter. Thus, the whisky doesn’t reach its peak until its mid-teens. By then, it is malty, fresh, crisp, and grassy, with hints of vanilla and delicate, slightly bitter fruits, including apricots and citrus pith. Fragile floral notes join exotic hints of mango and a nuttiness reminiscent of almond skins and sweetened coconut. Air do dheag slàinte, Glenora , as they say in Cape Breton’s Gaelic Highlands. The cuvee benefits from a significant portion of old vines, which contribute to its concentration and structured quality on the palate. Nebbiolo is known asChiavennascain Lombardia and it is so elegant,perfumey, and graceful, you might not want to go back to drinking Barolo! ArPePe is an iconic producer in this region and their Grumello is a subzone of the quality Valtellina region. At 10 years old, this wine is gorgeous.

A complex spicy, powerful and intense mix of fruit and savoury elements. Blackberry and cassis fruit dominate, joined by black plum, black cherry and some cherry chocolate liqueur along with complex black pepper, violet, custard and some burlap and dried herbal notes. Full bodied with lovely ripe tannins and balanced acidity the cassis and blackberry fruit is joined by paprika infused dark chocolate cake, pastry crust, graphite and sage with some leather on the long finish. Pair this with garlic and rosemary studded leg of lamb or grilled portobello mushroom with a paprika and dried herb butter.

Tasting Notes :Fabulous fruity notes make it immediately pleasant and fascinating. Black cherry, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, cocoa, sweet and well-integrated tannins, intense and rich floral notes. Elegant nose and taste with warm and soft mineral notes.

The family owns 18 hectares between La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, including 4 Barolo Cru's: R56 (Brandini), Annunziata, Meriame and Cerretta. Langhe Nebbiolo is the finest and most elegant bottled expression of this grape variety. An intense and subtle color at the same time, anticipates a structure and tannin that are typical of Nebbiolo. The land of La Morra, with its sandy percentage, reveals the more feminine nuance of this wine, giving a silky tannin and a good persistence in the mouth. If Barolo is too expensive, try a Langhe Nebbiolo.

At its core Mirabeau Gin is a classic Dry Gin. Mirabeau has used a 100% grape-based neutral spirit which adds roundness and subtle fruitiness to the palate. Lemons and Coriander add layers of fresh citrus character. Orris and Angelica roots impart floral and earthy tones respectively. Lucien Lardy is a family owned property with vineyards in the Fleurie and Moulin-A-Vent crus of Beaujolais. The fruit for this Villages wine was selected from a Fleurie vineyard that is over 50 years old. Perfect with Asian food, this Gamay is bright with bursts of wild cherry.
