Louis Jadot's Coteaux Bourguignons Rosé is a blend of 80% Gamay and 20% Pinot Noir. It displays a pale salmon color and aromas of fresh red berries, such as strawberries and raspberries, with a hint of citrus zest. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of watermelon and grapefruit. The wine has a balanced acidity, a delicate minerality, and a clean finish. The wine is aged in oak barrels, with 30% new oak, for up to 18 months. It has aromas of white flowers, honey, and ripe tropical fruits, such as pineapple and mango, with a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of pear, citrus, and hazelnut. The wine has a long and creamy finish, with a good balance of acidity and oak. Seguin-Manuel Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc is a classic expression of white Burgundy, known for its elegance, complexity, and aging potential. Scarabus, meaning ‘rocky place' in Old Norse, is named after a mystical area of Islay. This is a 10 year old version of Hunter Laing's original Scarabus single malt Scotch whisky. Produced by an undisclosed distillery on the legendary isle of Islay, this expression is aged in a combo of refill, ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks, and bottled up after a decade of maturation.
Nose: Soft phenolic peat smoke, slightly bitter with hints of Lapsang Souchong, tar, sea spray and toasted brioche developing along the way. Behind it lemon and honey sweetness.

Palate: Golden syrup, vanilla, and a slow rumble of peaty smoke and crushed peppercorns. In the mouth a tad rounder and more voluminous than its little brother.

Finish: Sweet peat, umami and some floral freshness. Medium length.

The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States. Woodford Reserve Rye uses a pre-prohibition style ratio of 53% rye in its mash bill to pay homage to history’s original rye whiskeys, making spice and tobacco the dominant note among a sea of fruit, floral, and sweet aromatics, which yields a nice sweetness and overall balance. After all - balanced rye makes a more balanced cocktail.

Nose: Spicy with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with a dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths.

Palate: Clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle with hints of apple and malt.

The Vigneto Cialdini is Cleto Chiarli's top-of-the-line Lambrusco Grasparossa. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro denomination, where this member of the Lambrusco family has been cultivated since time immemorial. The wine is made through a single fermentation under pressure, rather than the normal two-fermentation process of almost all other sparkling wines. This is in the brut range, with a slight sweetness detectable. Vigneto Cialdini is the name of the vineyard, dedicated to Enrico Cialdini, who was a famous general during the unification of Italy.

Head winemaker Rob Griffin arrived in the Columbia Valley four decades ago via UC Davis and the Napa Valley and is the longest-practicing winemaker in Washington State. This wine spent 17 months in oak barriques and shows the rewards of both skill and patience. Expect ripe, juicy cherry and plum fruit with subtle smoky shading, and pair with grilled meats.

" I loved the 2016 Château d'Issan and this is a certainly a wine to seek out. Made from a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot from yields of 55 hectoliters per hectare, aged 18 months in 50% new oak, it has a beautiful perfume of blue fruits (cassis, blueberries, etc.) as well as hints of graphite, subtle oak, and charcoal. Medium-bodied, elegant and refined, with lovely, fresh, sweet, red fruits, silky tannins and floral aromatics. The wine is bright, refined and finesse driven. There is purity in the fruit, length and energy here.

In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir presents itself in a very pale salmon color. The aromas of gooseberries and exotic fruits are therefore intense and unusual. Juicy, elegant and absolutely innovative! A wonderful Blanc de Noir from the Middle Kingdom.

Chateau Lafite Rothschild (Pauillac) – there’s no denying that no matter what vintage, the name of Rothschild will carry the weight and cachet for selling itself, not to mention scoring very high. Cassis, raspberry coulis, and blackberry dominate on a palate of crisp tannins, enormous structure and concentration. Always give this time to age to allow the wine to come into itself. Drink from 2027- 2045. 

Margaux shows us the elegance and feminine side of Bordeaux. This second label of Chateau Brane Cantenac, a Second Growth of Bordeaux is a blend of 65% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Already silky and very promising, it expresses black fruit aromas of blackberry and fleshy cherry mixed with elegant toast, smoke, and vanilla. The tannins are refined and balanced and is absolutely in the drink window.

Chateau Brane-Cantenac (Margaux)- Lovely, fragrant and elegant, this classy wine is well- defined with aromas of blackberry, cedar and tobacco with a palate of good structure and concentration, streamlined acidity, and velvety texture in this classic Margaux. Drink from 2025-2035.

Catena Zapata's Birth of Cabernet is a complex, elegant Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting notes include rich aromas of ripe fruit like blackcurrant and cassis, along with sweet spice and subtle oak notes. On the palate, it showcases layers of cassis, tobacco, and black pepper, with tannins providing structure and a long, persistent finish.

Los Haroldos Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is an Argentine red known for its intense ruby color and aromas of spiced berries (cassis, cherry), tobacco, and vanilla, with a refined palate of dark fruit, good tannins, and a long finish, often aged briefly in oak for balance, making it great with red meats and cheese.

Bright golden appearance shot through with amber highlights. A delightfully refined Rivesaltes with a classy bouquet of soft caramel, stewed apples, pears, nuts and an overriding impression of completeness. Round and elegant on the palate, with a Margaux like understated sophistication. Unmistakeable rancio characters help to place this in a blind tasting, but this is preceeded by impressions of butterscotch, walnut fudge, soft brown sugar and a little treacle. Very gentle on the long length with a pleasing warmth that lingers long after the wine has disappeared.

Dominio de Pingus is a cult classic in Ribera del Duero, established in 1995. The flagship Pingus has been established as one of the world's best wines and always scores very high. The vine age is very old and never treated with herbicides or pesticides. The PSI or "baby" of the three that are made is named after the 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet. Made with Tinto Fino (what tempranillo is called here), this vintage has 10% garnacha for added juiciness and freshness. Always fine grain an silky tannins, the creamy mouthfeel will make another sip necessary. A great introduction to the wines of Pingus.

Mastroberardino is definitely one of the founding fathers of winemaking in Campania, and put grapes like Fiano and Aglianico on the world wine map. Also from the quality region of Taurasi, the Historia is made from grapevines that are over 50 years old. Complex, broad, intense and persistent, it is full of violet, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate and vanilla with hints of earthy mushroom notes. Great structure, yet soft tannins in perfect balance. An absolutely stunning wine that will age for 50 years and beyond at a fraction of the price of Barolo! Collectors should always add aglianico to their cellar portfolio.

Cenote Tequila Reposado is a premium tequila that is aged for up to 11 months in American oak barrels. This process gives the tequila a smooth and complex flavor profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens and then fermented with natural yeast before being distilled twice. Cenote Tequila Reposado is a versatile spirit that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a variety of cocktails. Chiaretto is the term used for rosati crafted by the shores of Lake Garda. The Gorgo winery practices oraganic winemaking and this fresh and vibrant wine made from the Valpolicella grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry and peach. The palate has high acidity balanced nicely with the small red berries, red apples and peaches.
