This wine is bright and focused, with a lasting finish. Its aromas and flavors of black fruit and pinpoint minerality should pair it beautifully with rosemary-accented lamb kebobs. 

Luscious fragrance of apricot and ginger jam, peaches and cream, honeysuckle, and orange blossom with a lovely light touch of warming spice. An assertive and imposing texture with a rich palate of candied and tropical citrus fruit, while a layer of new Hungarian oak adds toasted, woody notes.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose is a little broody and reticent at this very youthful stage, slowly unfolding to reveal profound plum preserves, crème de cassis, black raspberries and star anise with hints of moss-covered bark, truffles and tilled loam plus a waft of red currants and raspberry leaves sparks.

The Cask 23 wine combines the signature perfume of grapes from the Fay vineyard with the structured and dark fruit of the SLV. The wine opens with fragrant and fresh aromas ofred and black currants, black tea, anise, and nutmeg. Vibrant with savoury notes, blackberry and blackcurrant flavours. The tannins are velvety and refined, and the oak is well integrated. This wine scored almost perfect - 99 points. ecause we also carry the 2018, this is a great opportunity to create a mini-vertical.

Falanghina is one of Italy's oldest white grape varieties and its native home is in Campania. This Falanghina is light and fresh with tons of tropical fruits, citrus notes and hints of sage and thyme. It is a perfect patio wine to share with your friends this upcoming summer season!

Cold soaked prior to fermentation to extract color and aromatics. Spontaneous fermentation over the course of two weeks in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in cement tanks. The nose is broad and complex, yet clean and fresh, with classic hints of red fruit mixed with notes of aromatic herbs and spices. In the mouth, the wine is broad, robust, and savory, with silky tannins and a long, fresh finish.

Roger Voss (WE): Crisp and also fruity, this is a lively, bright Champagne. Touches of red fruits are integrated with the grapefruit flavors and tight acidity. The wine has softness at the end and is ready to drink.

Irish single grain whiskey from Teeling! There are only an elite few Irish single grain whiskies out there at the moment, but Teeling went ahead and made theirs unique by maturing it in Californian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Deliciously sweet with a good deal of spice and fruit hide within the Teeling Single Grain.

After two years of drought, 2013 proved to be an excellent vintage with expressive black and red fruit in this 100% Tempranillo.

The perfect accompaniment to Parmigiano-Reggiano, the 12 Years Old binds the dryness of the cheese, which in return provides a platform for the malt's sweet fruitiness and enhances its clean barley notes.
Nose:
The colour of sharp honey, on the nose heathery floral notes are balanced with the richness of poached pears and the sweetness of malted barley.
Palete:
Crème brûlée and sweet ripe banana at first, then comes a light oakiness with pear fruitiness, leading to a long smooth, creamy and fragrant finish.

The Penderyn Madeira Finish has a light golden colour and a nose of citrus, honey, and oak. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, lemon, and honey. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of spice.

Rhiannon is the 7th chapter in Penderyn's Icons of Wales Series. Finished in sherry wood, the whisky is named after Rhiannon, an enchantress and horse goddess who could outrun any pursuer while riding slowly. Rhiannon in Welsh means 'Great Queen' or 'Divine Queen.'

On the nose, soft notes of raspberries and strawberry liqueur, as well as some melted butter, cassis, and candy canes. Hints of peanut skins and pastries. Needless to say, it is very sweet. The taste has more sweetness on arrival and is pretty much a continuation of the nose. Plenty of berries, but also some caramel sweetness. The wood has also infused some spiciness. The finish has a lingering sweetness and is somewhat drying.

This Champagne Lombard Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from top vineyards in Champagne. On the palate, it is dry, crisp, and refreshing, with flavors of citrus, red berries, and brioche. The wine has a long and elegant finish, with a subtle minerality and a creamy texture. El Dorado 15yo is a remarkable rum, whose greatest achievement was collecting the Wray & Nephew Trophy for Best Rum in the World at the International Wine & Spirits Challenge for an unprecedented four years running.

Nose: The best Christmas cake you can imagine. Refined, enticing aromas of candied peel, allspice, cinnamon, dried fruit and golden syrup.

Palate: Complex, spicy dried fruit, with interweaving layers of honey, gingerbread and toasty oak. This is very classy stuff, never overbearing.

Finish: Honeyed, spicy finish that persists.

Comment: An exceptional rum, which has complexity in spades yet is beautifully balanced. Anyone who dismisses rum as a one-dimensional category should try this, and prepare to be wowed.

The El Dorado 12 Year Old Special Reserve Rum is blended from aged stocks (the youngest being no less than 12 years old) from the original Wooden Enmore Coffey still, the original metal Diamond Coffey still, as well as from the ancient Port Mourant double wooden pot still which was used to produce ‘navy’ rum for the English Admiralty. All of the Demerara Rum produced by El Dorado is aged exclusively in American oak (bourbon barrels).

Nose: Sweet, toffee, vanilla, spices, oak. Hints of smoke.

Palate: Cocoa, caramel, prunes, spices, vanilla.

Finish: Long, sublimely smooth, hints of smoke on the tail.

Nomad is a unique whisky. A collaboration between sherry producer González Byass and Whyte & Mackay master blender Richard Paterson. A blended Scotch whisky aged for more than five years in sherry butts is shipped to Jerez for further year's ageing in PX casks.

Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a great introduction for those looking to experiment with Scotch whisky. It is aromatic with wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruit notes. The round and creamy palate tastes of honey and ripe apples, with vanilla, hazelnut and toffee flavours, followed by a rich and lingering finish.

This calvados is the result of the blending of different Calvados Pays d'Auge aged for at least 4 years in oak barrels. Once blended, it stays in casks for enough time to obtain a characteristic smoothness.

Nose: Fruity, elegant oaky notes, hazelnut, toast and brioche.

Palate: Balanced and harmonious, vanilla notes, oaky, ripe apples and applesauce.

100% Malbec. Dark red colour. A very fruity nose, both powerful and elegant, it is perfectly round and soft on the palate with great fruit intensity. Enjoy this wine by itself, or pair with cheese, pizzas, grilled meat or pastas.

Tasting notes Colour: Medium-high depth wine, ruby red colour with roof tile rim, which denotes its long barrel ageing and its peaceful bottle ageing.

Chateau Changyu Moser XV Helan Mountain Blanc de Noir White Cabernet Sauvignon Ningxia - The colour of this Cabernet comes with a hue of rose, just a touch to indicate its provenance. Surprisingly peachy on the nose with a cornucopia of floral aromas - it certainly enlarges the spectrum of fragrance in wine. On the palate it offers a stunning lusciousness of peach and exotic fruits with a hint of violet. The vibrancy comes from its perfectly embedded acidity.

Winemaker Notes : The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper, and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet. The seamlessly layered flavors build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy black-fruit, accented with hints of orange zest, licorice, and dark chocolate. “Showing the character of the best Cabernet Sauvignon berries I have ever worked with”, says Lenz. Spice of China, concentrated fruit aromas and flavours you would never expect from such a young Cabernet. The small berries occur in this desert climate to protect themselves from evaporating the water – hence a fantastic skin to juice ratio.

Taber Corn is second to none. Each summer, when word of Taber, Alberta’s first corn harvest breaks, connoisseurs converge on roadside stands to get it. It’s an easy progression why we would use Alberta’s famous Taber Corn from the Molnar Farm in our corn mash allowing you to not only eat your Taber Corn, but drink it too. 

It has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of black fruits, spices, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a smooth and velvety texture, and flavors of blackberry, plum, and chocolate. The wine has a long and persistent finish with a touch of oak. It is a great pairing for grilled meats, stews, and strong cheeses. Overall, Montes Wings Carmenere is a well-balanced and elegant wine that showcases the unique character of the Carmenere grape.

This whisky is an ex-Bourbon cask finish and is bottled at 46% abv, and is the first time Penderyn have released a core range single malt using mainly spirit from the pot stills, which we introduced in 2014.

Langpai Tequ T8 is a strong-aroma baijiu that is processed old mud pits. Baijiu has a very long fermentation period, from weeks to months or longer. This type of fermentation leads to a spirit very high in esters, hence the very sweet flavors.

Strong Baijiu takes some time to get used to because the flavor profile is quite different. The closest example I know of is Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum. This is a potent very high quality Baijiu full of flavor.
