Cascahuín Blanco tequila is crafted from carefully selected blue weber tequilana agaves sourced from the valleys area, reflecting the distinct characteristics of the region. The production process begins with the use of a masonry oven for cooking the agaves, followed by the extraction of juices through mills, where water from the own well is incorporated. During fermentation, natural yeasts from the yeast pie are utilized in both masonry and stainless steel fermenters. For distillation, a double distillation process is conducted, first in a stainless steel alembic with a copper coil, followed by a second distillation in a small 350-liter copper still with a copper coil. The tequila then undergoes maturation in spent American oak barrels, previously used for tequila for over 20 years, with a resting period lasting from 6 to 8 months in the barrels.

The De Grendel farm of Cape Town are always purveyors of good wine and this particular vintage show tropical fruit on the nose without that typical jalapeno pepper that is sometimes found in SA sauvignon blanc. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, yet with an unctuous mouth feel and continuing with tropical pineapple, guava and banana. Not complex, yet elegant and drinkable alone or with mixed green salads with poke tuna or salmon mixed in.

Dictador XO Platinum is a premium Colombian solera rum aged 25–35 years in ex-bourbon, sherry, and re-charred Port casks. It features a dark, mahogany color and a smooth, sweet flavor profile with notes of roasted honey, intense vanilla, caramel, oak, and Colombian coffee. Best enjoyed neat, it offers a long, balanced finish.

“Showing the character of the best Cabernet Sauvignon berries I have ever worked with”, says Lenz. Spice of China, concentrated fruit aromas and flavours you would never expect from such a young Cabernet. The small berries occur in this desert climate to protect themselves from evaporating the water – hence a fantastic skin to juice ratio.

Soju is a very popular spirit sold in Korea that is traditionally made by distilling rice and other cereal grains. However, since the 1960s to alleviate rice shortages, most soju has been produced by diluting high strength neutral alcohol from distilled sweet potatoes or tapioca.
One of the most trendy brands in South Korea, Chum Churum (which translates as “like the first tme”) is popular because of the added alkaline water, higher sweetness, and relatively lower alcohol content. This Champagne Lombard Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from top vineyards in Champagne. Nomad is a unique whisky. A collaboration between sherry producer González Byass and Whyte & Mackay master blender Richard Paterson. A blended Scotch whisky aged for more than five years in sherry butts is shipped to Jerez for further year's ageing in PX casks.

This calvados is the result of the blending of different Calvados Pays d'Auge aged for at least 4 years in oak barrels. Once blended, it stays in casks for enough time to obtain a characteristic smoothness.
