While the nose showcases primarily grain aromas, including cracked corn and peanut shell, it also has notes of white pepper, dark cherries, brown sugar, and Hershey’s chocolate syrup—a harbinger of things to come. The palate is a chocolate lover’s dream, rich and tantalizing without heaviness. There’s also mint, cinnamon, cashew butter, and well-integrated oak; time and water bring out sweet orange. The 2016 Château Talbot is a highly-rated (93-96 points), medium to full-bodied Saint-Julien Fourth Growth, offering a rich, polished profile. It features intense aromas of black fruit, cassis, and tobacco, with refined, silky tannins and high acidity. This 2016 vintage is praised for its power and aging potential. 

Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a robust, non-chill filtered Speyside single malt (46% ABV) known for its distinctive, slightly sulfury "meaty" character balanced with sweet, tropical fruit notes. Matured in a blend of 50% first-fill bourbon and 50% first-fill sherry casks, it offers a creamy, complex flavor profile featuring notes of pineapple, vanilla, licorice, and roasted nuts.

Aberlour 16 Year Old is a rich, smooth Speyside single malt, double-matured for 16 years in a combination of traditional oak and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 40%-43% ABV, it features a complex profile of sweet raisin, soft plum, and creamy oak, with a long, warm, and slightly spicy finish.

The family owns 18 hectares between La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, including 4 Barolo Cru's: R56 (Brandini), Annunziata, Meriame and Cerretta. Langhe Nebbiolo is the finest and most elegant bottled expression of this grape variety. An intense and subtle color at the same time, anticipates a structure and tannin that are typical of Nebbiolo. Château Vartely Taraboste Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot (Rezerva) is a premium, full-bodied Moldovan red wine with 14.5% alcohol, featuring intense aromas of ripe pomegranate, blackcurrant, dried plums, and oriental spices. Aged for 18–23 months in new oak, it offers a velvety, structured taste with soft tannins, high maturation potential, and a "Purely Aristocratic" style. 

There are observable but minor differences between the wines of the different Climats (named plots). In most cases, Meursault is greeny-gold in colour or canary yellow, leaning towards bronze as it ages. Limpid and brilliant, it sometimes exhibits silvery highlights. Its bouquet has strong aromas of ripe grapes. The young wine is redolent of toasted almonds and hazelnuts in a floral (mayflower, elder, bracken, lime, verbena) and mineral (flint) setting. Butter, honey, and citrus fruits are also present. On the palate it is rich and fat with a cheerful and appealing taste of hazelnut. Unctuousness and freshness are in silky balance. Long and structured, it needs time to mature - this is a great white wine for laying down.

The palate is soft and seductive, with integrated, ripe tannins subsumed by fleshy black fruit. Oily black cherries with a long, fruit-laden finish, this will be approachable and moreish from the outset. Gorgeous aromas of currants, crushed stones, blackberries and flowers.

The nose is delicate, mingling rhubarb and peach fragrances with delicious notes of white flowers. A fresh attack with notes of rhubarb gives way to an alluring, delicious and pure mouthfeel. Persistent and smooth, the finish reveals buttery and subtle aromas of Muscadelle.

A captivating Japanese gin emerges from the esteemed Masahiro distillery, renowned for its expertise in crafting Awamori, a rice-based spirit. This time, their artistry delves into the world of juniper, resulting in a fascinating creation. In addition to the prominent juniper, the skilled distillers of Okinawa have skillfully incorporated a medley of ingredients. Guava leaves, imparting their unique essence, intertwine with the intriguing flavors of long pepper, the exotic charm of roselle (a hibiscus variety), the distinct character of goya (a melon type), and the vibrant zest of shekwasha (a green citrus fruit native to Okinawa and Taiwan). This gin is a testament to the distillery's journey into new realms, producing a truly distinctive and captivating spirit.

From the Bolgheri DOC, the Poggio Al Tesoro is owned by the Allegrini family of Valpolicella fame. Named after the Seggio river that crosses the vineyard, it is a blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. The nose exhibits lovely fresh, crunchy fruit, enriched with mineral and spicy notes. The palate is medium bodied with hints of red berries and elegant silky tannins. A great wine for the price point!

The perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by subtle oaky notes. The Pinot noir and Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wine’s broad, luscious, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.

The 2019 bottling marks the 20th anniversary of the production of Oreno. This “Super Tuscan” of Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot are blended beautifully with aromas and flavours of black fruit, exotic spice, cured tobacco and new leather.

The finish is clean and gentle, with subtle lingering flavours.

Dry, with less than 2g/l of residual sugar, this Riesling from Washington State spends some time on the lees in older oak barrels just to add a little texture, and that works: it is brimming with bright citrus and rosy apple, a little floral aroma, a tang of lemon sherbet and lots of zest. The palate has that bit of weight and texture, but those sweeping acids fire through the peachier, slightly more tropical tones, but shimmering and long and delightfully zippy and fresh.

Double Gold, San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021. Glendalough's Double Barrel has sucked the marrow out of two casks, bourbon and oloroso. They each bring their own unique flavour and character. While the bourbon barrels add, among other things, sweet, smooth vanilla notes, the oloroso casks layer on those dried fruit and slightly nutty flavours. And of course these are all accented by almost four years resting in Ireland's mild maritime climate.

This is small production gewurztraminer made from 25-45 year old vines It showcases aromatic wines that are charming and delicious. The Sonnenglanz Grand Cru is the perfect terroir for Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. The wine shows aromas of peach, honey with brown spices, nutmeg and lychee. Broad and full on the palate with ripe peach fruit, spice, stone mineral, plenty of sweetness balanced by lively acidity andan unctuous mouthfeel, this wine is likely in a great spot for drinking. It will show best when decanted.

Over 180 years of distilling expertise result in the classic character of Tanqueray. On the nose, juniper is in the foreground, accompanied by citrus and coriander; dry and very balanced, with a hint of sweetness and a reserved, elegant delivery of flavours; the finish is medium in length, with all elements in harmony.

Aperol was created in 1919 by brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri who, after no less than 7 years of research and study, presented it for the first time at the Padua International Trade Fair. Since its first presentation to the public, Aperol has been distinguished by its bright orange color and inimitable bittersweet taste that make it unique and synonymous with quality aperitifs. Light, with 11 degrees, but with a rich taste given by the infusion of a mix of the highest quality herbs and roots.

Pale cherry-pink. Pleasant nose combining redcurrant, cherry, a floral element and a touch of eucalyptus. Energetic attack opening up to lovely aromatic intensity. The structure is light and invigorating and the narrative is clear and without artifice in this lovely wine.

This is a blend of Pinot Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc. A floral note of summer blossom accompanies fresh notes of green and yellow apple on this wine's nose. The palate adds creaminess, presenting a harmonious, fruity, elegant and light body with a dry finish. It is a lovely aperitif.

Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the all new cuvée from Maison Charles Heidsieck : a tenseness and mineral cuvée.
This champagne is generous and fleshy both, and composed of 80% of the year's wine and 20% of 5 years reserved wine.Following 4 years of raising on lees, this 100% chardonnay offers peach and citrus aromas to the nose. On the palate, freshness and tenseness are combined in a typical Charles Heidsieck's style.
The attack is frank, without agressivity, with an almost atypical suavity for a Blanc de Blancs, which is often described as being more angular than creamy. The balanced finish surprises with its minerality and salty character.This champagne offers an aromatic complexity for which Charles Heidsieck is famous. It can be enjoyed within 7 years.

In a subtle, joyful effervescence, the intense crystalline golden robe evokes yellow diamonds. The initial nose shines by the pure vivacity of this vintage. As Rare Millésime 2008 gradually warms in the glass, a vast range of orange blossom, hyacinth and white flowers is released. This leads to the delicacy of vanilla blossoms, a touch of fresh coconut, aromas of just ripe Williams pear and fresh almond, enhanced by notes of tangerine and blackcurrant buds. The second nose reveals the saline minerality, abundant and refined, an iodine-smoky harmony and a touch of licorice. On the palate the crispy, precise attack is followed by exuberant aromas of fresh pineapple, freshly cut and crisp, passion fruit, kiwi and coconut, nuanced with tangy citrus notes. These combine with plush springlike flavours with unparalleled length. The finish, with remarkable saline and iodine notes, perpetuates the journey into an endless spring.

Reserve de la Comtesse is the second label of the Chateau Pichon Longueville, a 2nd growth of Pauillac in the 1855 Classification. From the suprisingly quality vintage of 2014, this wine is a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot. With clear ageing potential (due to the high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon) there is a deep core of plum, cassis, raspberry and cedar notes with a lush, concentrated and structured palate. Although this is in a good place for drinking now, it can be aged further.
