100% Vermentino. Santadi Vermentino di Sardegna “Villa Solais” DOC is brilliant straw yellow, with green and golden highlights. Very fresh, citrusy nose with appealing minerality, confirmed on the balanced palate, which also features floral, fruity and mineral notes.

The Paternoster Rotondo Aglianico del Vulture is a full-bodied red wine made from 100% Aglianico grapes grown in the Aglianico del Vulture subregion of Basilicata, Italy. The wine is deep ruby red in color and offers aromas of ripe dark fruits, leather, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it is rich and intense with flavors of blackberry, plum, licorice, and black pepper, with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. This wine can be aged for up to 10 years and pairs well with hearty meat dishes and strong cheeses.

Renato Ratti Barolo DOCG Marcenasco is a classic expression of the Nebbiolo grape grown in the Barolo subregion of Piedmont, Italy. 100% Carricante. Pietradolce “Archineri” Etna Bianco DOC is a structured wine, with complex aromas of grapefruit and herbs; fresh and flavorful, long finish. This pure native variety is an intense expression of its terroir. Lovely acidity and great minerality are characteristics of the terrain (Milo), which is undoubtedly the best for Etna whites.

Seguin-Manuel Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Clos des Mouches vineyard, a premier cru appellation in the Beaune subregion of Burgundy. The wine is aged in oak barrels, with 30% new oak, for up to 18 months. It has aromas of white flowers, honey, and ripe tropical fruits, such as pineapple and mango, with a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of pear, citrus, and hazelnut. The wine has a long and creamy finish, with a good balance of acidity and oak. Seguin-Manuel Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc is a classic expression of white Burgundy, known for its elegance, complexity, and aging potential. This has an expansive mid palate that promises raspberry, redcurrant, rosemary and orange peel notes, along with pulses of minerality and a slate-textured finish. Definitely not a wine that needs to be left just for the summer months, this is a brilliant rose that delivers on expectations.

The 2019 bottling marks the 20th anniversary of the production of Oreno. This “Super Tuscan” of Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot are blended beautifully with aromas and flavours of black fruit, exotic spice, cured tobacco and new leather.

Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. The base of 51 % malt results in a whiskey that is richly flavorful and complex and amplifies the nutty characteristics found in the original Woodford Reserve.

NOSE
Soft nutty notes drizzled with light caramel and milk chocolate coat a layer of fruit character (apple, dried fruit, tropical fruit). Hints of brown spice, savoury mint and brown sugar mingle with a rich note of freshly milled toasted oak.

The Vigneto Cialdini is Cleto Chiarli's top-of-the-line Lambrusco Grasparossa. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro denomination, where this member of the Lambrusco family has been cultivated since time immemorial. The wine is made through a single fermentation under pressure, rather than the normal two-fermentation process of almost all other sparkling wines. This is in the brut range, with a slight sweetness detectable. Vigneto Cialdini is the name of the vineyard, dedicated to Enrico Cialdini, who was a famous general during the unification of Italy.

Scarabus, meaning ‘rocky place' in Old Norse, is named after a mystical area of Islay. This is a 10 year old version of Hunter Laing's original Scarabus single malt Scotch whisky. Produced by an undisclosed distillery on the legendary isle of Islay, this expression is aged in a combo of refill, ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks, and bottled up after a decade of maturation.
Nose: Soft phenolic peat smoke, slightly bitter with hints of Lapsang Souchong, tar, sea spray and toasted brioche developing along the way. Behind it lemon and honey sweetness.

Palate: Golden syrup, vanilla, and a slow rumble of peaty smoke and crushed peppercorns. In the mouth a tad rounder and more voluminous than its little brother.

Finish: Sweet peat, umami and some floral freshness. Medium length.

The flagship expression from the Glenkinchie distillery, one of the stalwarts of the Lowlands. A fantastic introduction to the region, Glenkinchie 12 Year Old shows off the characteristic lightness and grassy elements that Lowland whiskies are known for, with nods to cooked fruit and Sauternes wine along the way. Brilliant single malt to enjoy as an aperitif on a warm evening.

Nose: A light, aromatic nose with hints of barley malt, almonds, hazelnuts and manuka honey/beeswax.

Palate: Very fruity palate with a mix of stewed fruits, dessert wine, apple peels and honey. Becomes quite oaky late palate.

Dry, with less than 2g/l of residual sugar, this Riesling from Washington State spends some time on the lees in older oak barrels just to add a little texture, and that works: it is brimming with bright citrus and rosy apple, a little floral aroma, a tang of lemon sherbet and lots of zest. The palate has that bit of weight and texture, but those sweeping acids fire through the peachier, slightly more tropical tones, but shimmering and long and delightfully zippy and fresh.

Opening sniffs encounter deep scents of brown sugar and toffee; six more minutes add succulent aromas of candied walnut, toasted marshmallow, treacle and dark, old honey. Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the all new cuvée from Maison Charles Heidsieck : a tenseness and mineral cuvée.
This champagne is generous and fleshy both, and composed of 80% of the year's wine and 20% of 5 years reserved wine.Following 4 years of raising on lees, this 100% chardonnay offers peach and citrus aromas to the nose. On the palate, freshness and tenseness are combined in a typical Charles Heidsieck's style.
The attack is frank, without agressivity, with an almost atypical suavity for a Blanc de Blancs, which is often described as being more angular than creamy. The balanced finish surprises with its minerality and salty character.This champagne offers an aromatic complexity for which Charles Heidsieck is famous. It can be enjoyed within 7 years.

In a subtle, joyful effervescence, the intense crystalline golden robe evokes yellow diamonds. The initial nose shines by the pure vivacity of this vintage. As Rare Millésime 2008 gradually warms in the glass, a vast range of orange blossom, hyacinth and white flowers is released. This leads to the delicacy of vanilla blossoms, a touch of fresh coconut, aromas of just ripe Williams pear and fresh almond, enhanced by notes of tangerine and blackcurrant buds. The second nose reveals the saline minerality, abundant and refined, an iodine-smoky harmony and a touch of licorice. On the palate the crispy, precise attack is followed by exuberant aromas of fresh pineapple, freshly cut and crisp, passion fruit, kiwi and coconut, nuanced with tangy citrus notes. These combine with plush springlike flavours with unparalleled length. The finish, with remarkable saline and iodine notes, perpetuates the journey into an endless spring.

Reserve de la Comtesse is the second label of the Chateau Pichon Longueville, a 2nd growth of Pauillac in the 1855 Classification. From the suprisingly quality vintage of 2014, this wine is a blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot. With clear ageing potential (due to the high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon) there is a deep core of plum, cassis, raspberry and cedar notes with a lush, concentrated and structured palate. Although this is in a good place for drinking now, it can be aged further.

In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir presents itself in a very pale salmon color. The aromas of gooseberries and exotic fruits are therefore intense and unusual. Juicy, elegant and absolutely innovative! A wonderful Blanc de Noir from the Middle Kingdom.

The history of Chateau Duhart-Milon is not as well known as it should be. In the 18th century the wines of Milon became the "second" wine for Chateau Lafite. The 1855 classification awarded Duhart-Milon the only 4th growth in Pauillac, recognizing it for the quality of its soil. Sometime between 1830-1840 35 acres was left to the Casteja family who subsequently possessed a 99acre vinyard name Duhart-Milon. Over the years the property changed hands many times and suffered a decline in the quality of the wines. The property was acquired in 1962 by the Rothschild family who totally overhauled the vineyards and brought back the quality of the wine as a 4th growth. The 2019 Duhart-Milon is a red Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with an up front fruity nose of black currant and blackberry, along with typical Pauillac nuances of pencil shavings, forest floor and cedar. Round, layered and creamy through the palate this wine has excellent potential for great ageing Drink from 2025-2045.

Chateau Lafite Rothschild (Pauillac) – there’s no denying that no matter what vintage, the name of Rothschild will carry the weight and cachet for selling itself, not to mention scoring very high. Cassis, raspberry coulis, and blackberry dominate on a palate of crisp tannins, enormous structure and concentration. Always give this time to age to allow the wine to come into itself. Drink from 2027- 2045. 

Chateau Brane-Cantenac (Margaux)- Lovely, fragrant and elegant, this classy wine is well- defined with aromas of blackberry, cedar and tobacco with a palate of good structure and concentration, streamlined acidity, and velvety texture in this classic Margaux. Drink from 2025-2035.

The second wine of Château Rieussec is selected on the same basis as the grand vin. Its permanent characteristic is a beautiful aromatic amplitude with a dominant citrus palette.
The name Carmes de Rieussec refers to the Carmes de Langon monks who owned the Rieussec estate in the 18th century.

" I loved the 2016 Château d'Issan and this is a certainly a wine to seek out. Made from a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot from yields of 55 hectoliters per hectare, aged 18 months in 50% new oak, it has a beautiful perfume of blue fruits (cassis, blueberries, etc.) as well as hints of graphite, subtle oak, and charcoal. Medium to full-bodied, with integrated acidity, a terrific mid-palate, and perfect balance, it needs 4-5 years of bottle age and is going to cruise in good cellars for 20-25 years or more. Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey from Conecuh Ridge Distillery bears the name of the man responsible for the brand, Clyde May. Clyde crafted his first spirits in 1946, but it wasn’t until 2001 that the distilling operation was made legal. The company built its name around this popular “Alabama Style Whiskey”, which according to their website is finished with a hint of apple and is the Official State Spirit of Alabama. Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey is bottled at 85 proof. The mashbill is 55% corn, 30% rye, and 15% barley. The whiskey is aged 6 to 7 years in oak barrels and is finished with a hint of apple.
