Yellow Spot is unique in that it contains whiskey that has been matured for a full 12-year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts, and uniquely Spanish Malaga casks. The Bastardo grape is primarily known as the grape used in Portugal to make Port. In Moldova this hand harvested semi-sweet grape, creates a dark ruby coloured wine. It exhibits aromas of black cherry and violets, ending with a light sweetness on the palate. Bastardo can be enjoyed alone or paired with beef or veal dishes.
