POLI MARCONI 46 GIN is a handcrafted Italian gin that is distilled using traditional methods and features a distinctive blend of juniper berries, muscat grape, mountain pine, cembra pine, mint, cardamom, and coriander. This unique infusion of flavors is inspired by the Asiago plateau in the north of the Veneto region, which is the ancestral home of the Poli family.

Fukucho Seaside is a premium sake produced by Imada Sake Brewery, located in the Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan. It is made using high-quality Yamada Nishiki rice and pure water sourced from a nearby mountain. Fukucho Seaside is a junmai ginjo style sake, which means it is brewed using only rice, water, yeast, and koji mold without any added alcohol. It has a delicate and fruity aroma, with notes of pear, melon, and a hint of green apple. On the palate, it is clean and refreshing, with a soft mouthfeel and a slightly dry finish. The name "Seaside" reflects the brewer's intention to create a sake that evokes the freshness and purity of the nearby sea. This sake is best enjoyed chilled and can be paired with a variety of Japanese dishes or enjoyed on its own as a premium sipping sake.

Rivo Sloe Gin is a premium Italian gin-based liqueur that is infused with sloe berries, which are a type of small, dark fruit related to the plum. The sloe berries are hand-picked in the hills of Lombardy, Italy and then infused in Rivo Gin for several months to extract their rich, fruity flavor. The result is a smooth and velvety liqueur that has a deep ruby color and a rich, fruity aroma. The taste is complex, with a balance of sweetness and bitterness that is characteristic of sloe berries. This particular rum comes from a beautiful but previously used sherry butt in the same solera as our highly esteemed 2013 cask strength release. The distinction here is that it's a single cask bottling from a sherry butt that has been exclusively emptied for this release. Additionally, we have chosen to bottle it at a more moderate 44% alcohol content, rather than its original 50%.

Hernö Navy Strength Gin, a bold flagship rich in flavour, is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Dry Gin, but diluted to 57% vol. instead of 40,5% vol. The difference in aroma and taste is very clear, and Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a richer flavour with bolder juniper, coriander and citrus.

Nose: Hernö Navy Strength Gin has a bold juniper character with fragrant citrus and fresh and peppery notes.

Finish: Spicy and peppery with mellow warmth. Long and lingering, yet smooth, finish.

The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States. Woodford Reserve Rye uses a pre-prohibition style ratio of 53% rye in its mash bill to pay homage to history’s original rye whiskeys, making spice and tobacco the dominant note among a sea of fruit, floral, and sweet aromatics, which yields a nice sweetness and overall balance. After all - balanced rye makes a more balanced cocktail.

Nose: Spicy with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with a dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths.

Palate: Clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle with hints of apple and malt.

Finish: Long and sweetly spiced

Nose: Rich honey aromas combine with sweet lime zest and vanilla.

This Amber Coloured Whisky:
Is very rich and concentrated on the nose with dark fruits - plums, blackberries - combined with beef stock, the darkest chocolate and a slight rubberiness.
Is very savoury on the palate with more beef stock along with herbal-amaro type notes and a rich, European oak influence.
Has a long, lingering and complex finish.

The nose of the 62er Grant has a multi-faceted range of aromas that are creamy, intense, and characterful. Hazelnuts and woody spices rise from the glass, with hints of chocolate, vanilla, and honey. Undertones of furniture polish and leather can also be detected, as well as raisins in rum and caramel infused with peppermint. As you inhale, you are greeted with a dignified and old-fashioned bouquet that stimulates salivation.

The first sip is mild and velvety, with a balance of creamy sweetness and fruity flavors. The second sip reveals the appearance of citrus fruits and tart, spicy wood tones. The wooden sharpness lingers in the mouth and is accompanied by old walnuts, dark caramel, dried orange peel, and dark chocolate. The flavors of raisins, cherries, leather, and tobacco gradually come to the forefront, along with cedar wood and sweetish tobacco. The finish is powerful and voluminous, pulling the flavors down the throat and leaving behind dark fruit flavors, woody spices, leather, tobacco, and fresh peppermint. The complex flavors blend together to leave a contented smile on your face.

This dark gold whisky has a nose of plums, berries and green ferns. The palate is sweet with notes of apricots, chocolate, and spice. The finish is long, with lingering fruit notes.

The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is rich and full with a well-harnessed sweetness. There are notes of acacia honey and buttery vanilla, notes of mixed wild berries and Creme de fraise. Hints of gooseberries with dry ropes and creamy citrus and smoke. The palate is complex and well-balanced. There are notes of aged Cuban rum with a touch of dark, yet quite subservient peat. The smoke rises gently, coerced by a rather persuasive sherry. The finish is long and smoky with plenty of sherry notes.

The nose is a rich complex of fresh juniper, followed quickly by coriander and a complexity of gin flavours. Hints of citrus mingle with oriental spices. On adding a mixer, the citrus, lemon, orange - and even bergamot - open out, as do hints of cinammon, cloves and even saffron. A medium-length finish leaves you ready for the next mouthful.

MacNair’s Lum Reek is a range of blended malts produced by the GlenAllachie Distillers Company. Created by Billy Walker, this composition is built around peated Islay and Speyside whiskies, mixed with GlenAllachie single malt. The whiskies are drawn from a combination of Oloroso, virgin oak and red wine casks. Nose: a nice start on elegant smoke, tobacco leaves and hints of cedar wood, mixed with raisin sweetness, toffee and a good dose of vanilla. Plum jam. Cinnamon. Lemon zest. Hints of cocoa in the background. Maybe not hugely expressive – elegance is key here.

Taste: s layered combination of dry and sweet notes again. Peaches, marmalade and berries, some honey and dark chocolate. Some old leather and pleasant woody touches. Toffee. Pepper. The earthy smoke is present but never overpowering.

Finish: medium to long, more ashy and spicy with lingering cocoa.

Lightly aged for two months in oak barrels, this offers subtle complexities of fresh agave, oak, citrus, and honey with a light amber hue. Smooth and sweet on the palate with exceptional balance; the finish is highlighted with flavours of floral and vanilla notes.

A very special Mortlach, released as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2022. This takes a left turn compared to most other Mortlach whiskies, which are traditionally aged in sherry casks, and looks at other wines. It was finished in red-muscat and tawny-port casks, and also has a little bit of virgin-oak-finished whisky in the mix. The result is big, rich and spicy, with layers of dark red fruit flavour.

Japan has come a long way with making whisky with many master distillers taking their training right in Scotland and importing the Scottish heather for peat making. There is much quality here in Japanese whisky and dad would no doubt be surprised and delighted with this one, aged in a Sherry cask to give it nutty, toasty aromas and flavours.
